We had a great stay here! Would definitely book again in the future. Walking distance to all of downtown, where you can find great restaurants and a lot of things to do! Highly recommend!

Beautiful well-furnished home near downtown restaurants, park and river. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. We brought our dog, which was a huge treat for us, and she loved getting to walk around the town. She is a bit particular with where she potties and since there wasn’t a yard with grass at the house, we had to walk her to the park each time, but it’s just a short walk across the street. Overall, this house and its location can’t be beat! Wendy is a great host! We would definitely recommend staying here!

First, take a photo of the key code and text to your group. I did not and left my phone in the house. So, yes, I locked us out. Everything was on my phone. My friend sent a message through AirBnB to Wendy explaining what happened. She called her right away and got us back in the house. Phew! The house is a 10-minute walk to downtown Salida, which is so cute. Full of shops, places to each, art galleries, stores for kids, an arcade, etc. One can walk to the grocery too. The house had everything we needed. It is nicely maintained, quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was the one bathroom. We managed with it. If you have a teen who takes forever anytime they in the bathroom, this could be a problem. Plenty of hot water for several showers in a row and lots of towels. Really like having the washer/dryer access even a drying rack. I would stay here again!

This place was amazing. It was the perfect layout for us and our three kids, and it is very close to all the fun things in downtown Salida. It’s the perfect place to stay whether you’re enjoying the river and trails in the summer or skiing Monarch Mountain on spring break. We would definitely stay here again!

Although this home is close to #50 there was no road noise. This house is spacious and very nicely furnished. We cooked all our meals in the well supplied kitchen. The showers were great with good pressure and hot water. All bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. We have rented many places in Salida and this was our favorite.

This was the perfect retreat for our group of 5 adults and a baby. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, super comfortable beds, and the overall clean and cozy feel of the home. Grateful for the baby-friendly amenities (e.g. pack-n-play, high chair, and plastic bowls & utensils). The hosts were quick to respond with getting everyone access to the apps used for entry. Would definitely stay here again!

I had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, attractions, and public transportation, yet still peaceful enough to relax. The little touches, like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and thoughtful recommendations, made it feel like a true home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough! Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this Airbnb is a gem. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful and peaceful forest views, well stocked pantry and linens as well as items for babies and children, conveniently located close to paved road, Added bonus of relaxing hot tub - only suggestion would be for a hot tub screen of some kind for a little privacy form neighbors direct view 😊

Beautiful Airbnb in the heart of South Main! Easy walk to The Surf Hotel, boulder garden, restaurants and the river. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely consider booking again! The only thing to be aware of is that South Main has construction going on. Throughout the day dump trucks and other construction vehicles could be heard driving by the property. However none of the construction is immediately next door and it was quiet at night.

We've stayed in many rentals over the years and this one is just perfect! It's a basement unit but windows let in light--I also think it was quieter being on base floor. We stayed during a very quiet time--not busy , no one staying in the upper units. BV is an awesome town and this unit is located in the new/upcoming area of South Main, VERY easy stroll to the ever beautiful Arkansas River , Surf Hotel (great dinner) and Eddyline Brewery. You can also easily walk to the 'OG' Main Street for more restaurant choices (Simple Eatery is so good!). The unit was exceptionally clean, kitchen well-stocked (with nicely upgraded dish/cookware), great shower am comfy bed. I highly recommend staying at the Alpine Den :)

I had to book this place very last minute due to a different airbnb not working out, and it was so great! Very nice space and easy check in.

Lovely quiet spot. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I went in the mornings to the hot springs, cottonwood is only 15 min away. Pretty large for a studio. It is attached to their house, but I didn’t hear any noise. It was nice to feel the river nearby even though it was very cold outside so I didn’t really go down. Thanks for hosting, I would definitely come back.

Loved this place as our home base for a visit in Salida! A great location right in the heart of downtown and in walking distance to trails. The space was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We'd definitely return to Connor's place!

This was a perfect spot to stay right at the base of Monarch pass. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable. Dawn was very quick to respond and provided some recommendations for things to do and restaurants in the area. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Hanni's condo is comforting, earthy colors and cheerful art make it soothing to relax in. Beds were comfy. Easy to cook in. Lovely to walk to both main street and the Arkansas river trails. Highly recommend, will stay again!
