Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

Leslie is an extremely warm-hearted person. Who cares about her guests having a good experience. She is very generous, and allowed us to go wherever we pleased on the property, and rented her boats to us for free!! Thank you Leslie!! The value for your money is extremely high! It is way better experience than any Hotel room! Arrow lake was beautiful and calm, and we seen very few other people on the lake. We were surprised there was no mosquitoes during our time there!! 🤷‍♂️ Very peaceful surroundings

This a truly marvellous place to stay. It is remarkable building with great inside spaces, multiple works of art, a great selection of vinyl LP's and good sound system. The whole place has a relaxed easy going and artistic feel. It is also really cosy, the log burner heats the space very effectively and the comfortable bed ensures a great night's sleep. Ymir is an interesting old gold mining town. It has a very friendly local store and a multipurpose trail along the old railway. From Ymir it is easy to access Nelson, great downhill skiing at Whitewater and cross country trails at the Nelson ski club. The Whitewater base lodge is a foodie's delight for lunch whether skiing or not. Nelson is a very relaxed town with some lovely restaurants and cafes. Ainsworth Hot Springs and Kokanee Provincial Park are worth a visit and are recommended for improving body and soul. Accommodation that will linger long in our memory and will probably not be surpassed!

Leslie, the host, was very friendly and welcoming and great with our children. She answered any, and every, question we had was flexible with our check in time. The area was nice and clean, including the bathroom/shower house, as well as the outdoor sink “kitchen”. It was also well set up and minimal items inside so it was easy for us to keep clean, especially with three kids She made us coffee and baked goods each morning, and they were delicious. Leslie was also generous in giving us free kayak rentals for part of the day and despite the weather pitting a stop to going out (lol), we want to mention our gratitude for that We fully intend to come back whether it be my husband and I or the full family - thank you for a great experience Leslie!

This was our second time staying at the whitewater chalet! As soon as our group decided to head back out to Nelson for some skiing, we knew we had to stay at the cabin again. It couldn’t be closer to the mountain or feel more secluded. The hot tub is an added bonus after a long day of skiing. The only thing to note is that the pillows could be better on the beds but for our group, it was a minor detail. Thanks for the great stay!

We loved staying at Yasmin’s place, the place is peaceful and beautiful. If you’re looking for a place to lower the stress level, this is the right place. Also if you open the Window at night, you’ll listen the water running on the fountain which is really relaxing.

Julia was easy to communicate with and has created a beautiful space! Close to town yet private and secluded. The sauna and cold plunge were a great bonus!

This was a peaceful space that had my wife dreaming of a future house, and rock gardens. We loved our stay; would recommend 10/10! lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. Bathroom/showerhouse is separated from main, but was no issue for us.

Babs’ cabin is a little slice of paradise. From the bird call in the morning to watching the sunset over the lake, you’ll never want to leave. Babs herself is friendly and helpful, always available if you need anything, but respectful of your space if you want it. Not the first time I’ve stayed with Babs and it won’t be the last. Already booked to come back for some time in the summer. The kitchen has everything you need and the outdoor shower is blissful! Definitely bring water shoes and a backpack! Those stairs make it an adventure, but it’s worth every step!

I had the most amazingly memorable birthday week celebration thanks to the Dome Home! It was perfectly suited for spending time with loved ones in a peaceful environment, and a short drive to beautiful Nelson for groceries / shopping, along with the rest of the Kootenays to explore! We must have arrived right after the snow melted as there was some soggy garbage/cigarette butts scattered around the property, but to be expected with so much gorgeous spring weather - never know what the snow was hiding! We're already thinking of excuses to plan more trips out there, I'd love to experience it in different seasons. Highly recommend cold plunging in the river, nice and close to the Dome to warm back up in front of the wood stove fire. 10/10 recommending this place to friends!!

My husband & I along with our 2 dogs very much enjoyed our stay in the tiny homes! It has everything you would need and more! It was for sure different having the kitchen & bathroom under a separate roof but we liked & enjoyed the experience. The location & surroundings are absolutely stunning! And the private beach to top it off, wow! Loved loved that there are so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoor from the deck with the hammock, screened & heated pergola & fire pit while being up high literally beside the forest while being secluded. It was overall a spectacular & grounding experience for us. Jody & Alex were amazing hosts. Kind, responsive & helpful. A thorough welcome package was sent prior to arrival that included a list of recommendations that was very much appreciated. Will definitely keep it in our favourites list and are eager to be back!

Had an awesome stay at Arlene and Earl’s! The bunkie was so cute and had everything we needed. We went for a nice kayak and had a relaxing campfire. Arlene and Earl are the nicest people! It was such a pleasure staying at their property. We only wish we would have stayed longer. And Joey, their dog, was such a sweetheart! We can’t wait to visit again someday.

We enjoyed every minute. Booked this property solely for the waterfront access to the lake, but was so much more. Very well organized, beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Darrell & Lana are so very accommodating, and great at what they do. Thank you again.

We loved our time at the tiny home! The property that it sits on is incredibly beautiful, and we enjoyed our daily visits to the lake nearby. We booked Bonnie’s Airbnb at the last minute. It worked out perfect for us. It had all the amenities you needed and an easy walk to town. Bonnie greeted us when we first arrived and the check in was super easy. Bonnie’s directions were very helpful too. Thank you Bonnie

The coach house was a cozy nest to return to after a long day skiing. It's close to Whitewater and an easy walk into town for apres-ski. Look forward to returning soon!

This is an exceptional suite: quiet, spotless, exquisite design and finishings, complete with all amenities, welcoming touches like coffee, and a private, peaceful treed outlook from it. The shower is excellent & the bed and linens very comfortable. Bryce was always responsive, friendly, and helpful. Nelson is built on a hill and unless you’re right on Baker street or the river walk there will be steep hills! This is no exception but is only a 2 minute drive to town. Just plan for it. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! Thank you, Bryce!

We loved this place so much that we will be staying there again for our 2026 ski trip to Revelstoke. Charlene and Logan are fantastic hosts and have done a wonderful job with their property. We didn’t want to stay right in town and the location couldn’t have been better. This place was more than we could have asked for. Thank you so very much Charlene and Logan. See you next year!!!!
