The place was fantastic! Great location, very cozy, conveniently located, close to all that Balat has to offer. Ișil, was amazing 👏! she met us on the first day, did a detailed walk through of the space, showed us around the neighborhood, and was available for any of our questions while we stayed at her gorgeous space. she even helped us with unstanding local transportation. Would absolutely stay again. Communication was second to none. Thank you, thank you!

We liked everything about this property and the host was extremely kind and helpful. The apartment is on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of a very narrow building, above a shop that was not open when we were there. If you can't do stairs, you really should NOT be in this space (and you should think twice about Istanbul in general. Istanbul has a LOT of stairs and hills!) If you have no problem with stairs, it is great. It is RIGHT next to the main tram line that goes to all the tourist locations, and very close to the tunnel elevator that takes you to the top of Galata and also very close to a ferry port. There are a couple currency exchange places right across the street and tons of restaurants in the neighborhood. The location is perfect, and the space is adorable and well-maintained. The kitchen is very minimal - do not expect to cook. You will hear city sounds out the window, like pigeon, sirens and car horns (so bring ear plugs). There is a washer/dryer combination machine.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Очень хорошее жилье, на хорошей улице. Машины почти не ездят и ночью довольно тихо. Если хотите спать по ночам, то вам сюда. Хозяин встретил и передал ключи. Очень дружелюбный, все показал. В квартире имеется все необходимое и рабочее. Единственное, холодильник работал странно; размораживался моментами и становился мокрым.. Кровати удобные, сын спал очень хорошо. А это главное! Из минусов: прокуренная гостиная и пепельницы. К квартире курят, а для не курящих это - испытание. Подоконники в спальнях и гостиной довольно низкие, нужно быть очень осторожным. К тому же некоторая мебель просто разваливается. Во всем остальном мы отдохнули на славу и сыну очень понравилось. Спасибо и процветания вам.

A delightful town house on with four storeys in a bustling neighbourhood. Very comfortable and recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Peaceful and comfortable accommodation with amazing views and all the creature comforts. An excellent base for exploring Istanbul by ferry or bus, with nice cafes nearby. Can recommend using a delivery service (we used Getir) to get groceries in.

My stay with parents in this apartment was amazing and peaceful! Location is very good No issues with the transport And I would like to say thank you to Nihal , she is very nice and mindful , responding immediately. Definitely will stay next time !

Berk is so respuctful , responsive , has a good place private entrance , great location i recommend this place 100% worth the money we paid , and for sure i will take it again when i come back 🔥

Emin’s place was magnificent. View was breathtaking & competes with many places in the city with views. I loved waking up to the gorgeous view & coming back to it every evening. It was part of the visit’s highlight. There are no blackout curtains and the light is strong but I wasn’t bothered. I slept with an eye mask & wanted to see the views the second I wake up. So I didn’t even use the curtains. The building has many services & is easy to locate. The penthouse was neat & organized. The amenities were very good (coffee machine, washing machine, kitchen utensils, air fryer). It needs a microwave and definitely mirrors. There’s only 1 in the bathroom with bad lighting. The only downside of the place is that there’s no AC in the bedroom & it was very hot. I had the AC on in the living room & the fan on in the bedroom to try to move the cold air but it was quite uncomfortable. Emin was a wonderful host. He communicated all the time, before the trip and throughout.

Aksel Bey çok nazik ve iletişim kurması kolay birisi. Maslak civarında konaklamanız gerekiyorsa gözü kapalı tercih edebilirsiniz.

It was a great stay. The place is unique and calming. The host is very helpful and understanding. You have help 24/7 and the nature and the place is unique. We totally recommend.

This is a great place to stay in Istanbul. It is close to main districts like Sisli, Harbiye, Taksim etc. This airbnb is one of the cleanest ones I ve stayed. I will be back for sure when I stay in Istanbul. I recommend this place without any doubt. The building has an indoor parking which is important for Istanbul.

Just book this apartment! I had such a lovely stay here. It was even bigger than I imagined and I love how serene it was. Since you’re in the only apartment on that floor, you have a ton of privacy and quiet. All the little design touches were fantastic too. I stayed for a month and I was sad to leave. Can was also a very responsive, helpful, and friendly host which made the stay even more meaningful. Enjoy your time there like I did!

Very good studio in a good location, everything is sparkling clean and brand new. The place had just been renovated a month ago. Internet was very stable aswell. Host is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

В самой квартире уютно, удобная кровать и красивый вид как во двор, так и на оживленную улицу. Однозначно бы вернулась еще! Спасибо за заботу комфорт🖤
