Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

Everything was wonderful! The house was perfect for a family gathering. The house sits on a beautiful lot and a peaceful part of the lake. Everyone enjoyed the available activities - hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks and inside games. The porch was great for outside meals. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at "the right spot"! I traveled with my daughter for a soccer showcase at Bryan Park Soccer Complex and it was the perfect home base for our trip. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the beautiful neighborhood! We will definitely try to stay here again next year!

Cozy with Character. Lots of space, for up to 4 people. Felt right at home. Location is good. Village District has great restaurants. We tried a few of the recommendations. Safe location, we ran/walked the area between 6-7a. No issues. Water pressure (big for me) was GREAT! Quick hot water. Beds & pillows (subjective) for us, very comfortable. The 1/2 bath, downstairs, great idea! Dont have to go up/downstairs to use the bathroom. Heres my "character" - its an older home (but nicely updated) and has WOODEN FLOORS. So, if youre a lite sleeper, the floors upstairs creak. Once someone goes to the bathroom, you might wake up. Also, heard the train, in the distance, but it didnt affect us. Its a duplex, so you might hear the neighbor (music) from time to time. It wasnt a nuisance. NOTE - If youre under 5'0", getting in & out of bed is a bit of a challenge. Hosts were very responsive. If were ever in Raleigh, we will def stay here again. 🤙

We rented this home because my son was getting married at The Barn at Valhalla, 2.5 miles away. The photos in the listing were beautiful but the home is even more beautiful in person. It was perfect for my family. I added an extra day and I'm so glad we did so that we could decompress after the festivities and sit on the wonderful porch and enjoy the picture perfect view. We even had some deer join us. You will not be disappointed in this home or this host. Thank you, Heather.

We have stayed at the farm three times now, and we absolutely love it. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Our kids love having the ability to play in the backyard, or down by the pond, or take a hay ride, or just run wild! The owners are so sweet and accommodating. Getting to grab your own eggs from the chicken coop is an added plus!

A small home away from home. This cottage is clean, comfortable, with perfect decorations and furniture. Comfy bed and pillows with lots of space for a cottage. Fast Wifi and 2 Roku TVs with climate control in living room and bedroom. A very responsive and helpful host is a major plus. Located in a quiet small neighborhood close to downtown Danville. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, where you can listen to the birds and the river flowing over the dam. A great place to get away to relax and unwind for a bit.

Michael & Clara were great hosts! They were very responsive, flexible and helpful. The apartment was exactly what was described. I highly recommend their apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay for a few nights! Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The backyard and pond are super nice. The cabin is well appointed and clean. There are several homes around so you get the remote experience without being alone. Cleaner was super nice and does a fantastic job!
