We had a wonderful stay in this home! It was warm, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. From the inviting atmosphere to the thoughtful details, it truly felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be back

We booked Aspen Lake cabin during the fall season and it was perfect timing. There were acres and acres of turned Aspen trees. It made for a beautiful backdrop and family photoshoot with our Iphones. The cabin itself it very roomy, clean and both rooms with a king size bed are big and have great views. It is nice to have two separate levels with living rooms. We did not need to turn the heater on as it was very warm during the day and cooled off just right at night. The only unfortunate part of the cabin was that the dishwasher may need some service as it did not wash the dishes properly even after rinsing them beforehand. Overall, it was a great stay for two families.

Our family of 5 stayed for a week in this beautiful space and were delighted with the condition of the house and all of the thoughtful touches. Possibly the best experience I’ve had through Air B&B. The house had a ton of space we used well, the host was extremely responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions about the area and giving recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was ridiculously well stocked, with pots & pans, plastic wrap and parchment paper, sharp knives and baking trays, etc. The fireplace and hot tub kept us warm during the late spring snow we experienced! I would bring earplugs if you are a fairly light sleeper, because the train runs at all hours and blows its whistle at a road crossing nearby. The host has thoughtfully provided sound machines in all of the bedrooms, but sometimes that wasn’t enough. Overall, I’d return in a heartbeat: the views are breathtaking and the space couldn’t be nicer.

Very nice basement rental with one owner living in the upstairs. Excellent communication with all our questions, very friendly hostess. Nice lake with patio looking on, my kids loved kayaking with the kayaks on site.

This place is very cute and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful area! The only complaint I have is that there was no laundry detergent available for use.

The house was wonderful. Clean, private and just as described. The views are outstanding! Hosts were very welcoming and kind. We had so much fun as a family, unplugging and spending time together playing darts, pool, pingpong and board games. Highly recommended this rental.

Our family Thanksgiving was wonderful because this place allowed space and tranquility for the family to enjoy quality time together without having to feel cramped.

We loved this beautiful little getaway in the mountains. Saw several deer grazing around the house, and we had a great view of the stars at night. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. I will say there isn’t a ton in the way of restaurants or things to do in the area besides nature activities. The restaurants that are there are pretty good though, and of course being in Colorado the nature is great too. In short, if you’re looking for a relaxing country getaway and not wanting to do a ton, this place is exactly what you want. But not so much if you’re wanting to spend cram your days full of new experiences. 10/10 would stay again.

I can not express enough how awesome this stay was! It is SO secluded, you would never ever even think it is attached to Anita’s house! It is in a great location and only 15 to 20 minutes from Colorado Springs and Manitou springs. The place was very clean and organized. It has every possible kitchen attachment you may need. I was able to cook a thanksgiving meal for my family of four while staying here. If you are unable to leave due to weather conditions or you would rather stay in. This Air B and B has tons to do! We loved the media room and pool table. We hope to make this an annual trip. Thank you so much Anita, this was such a wonderful stay for our family. It couldn’t have been more perfect!

Wonderful stay. Communication was easy. The apartment is beautifully funished and decorated with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal or two on-site. Perfectly stocked. Appliances are new and high-end. Laundry on site is wonderful. And it's CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! I'm a stickler for cleanliness and the Scenic Summit Hideaway did not disappoint. Truly, a great place to settle in to relax. I had some deer visits two mornings while I was staying here, which was nice. The roads are STEEP so if you walk down to town for a bite to eat or some coffee (my latte at Lake & Lantern was exceptional); it's a tough walk back up. Doable, certainly, just not "easy" unless you are used to some elevation and incline. Highly recommend staying here and will absolutely book again if I stay in the Palmer Lake area in the future. 5 stars all around!

This is a gorgeous property in a great location. Lots of great things to do with in a close distance. The home is very comfortable and clean. Hosts are very responsive and friendly.

Really wonderful stay in the Beaver cabin! The heat and hot water were amazing, as well as the very clean and equipped space. It felt private enough and so walkable to the small lake, a couple trails and restaurants. I would definitely return!

Beautiful, off-grid cabin! My husband and I had such an amazing stay! Chris was awesome, proactively reaching out with great recommendations. We felt so at peace our entire stay! We even got snow one of our last days which made everything so magical! The beds were so comfortable, like a warm hug; we wanted to sleep all day! Everything was easy to use, including the off-grid toilet. Definitely would stay here again!

This is the top floor of a cabin-like building. The private hot tub was really nice. The location is lovely with access to the little town, hikes from the doorstep, and quiet mountain charm. The interior was clean and comfortable. The sink faucet was broken but usable, and Sherri and Alexandra were responsive. The exterior could use some TLC- things like leaking gutters that dripped cold water on us when walking to and from the entrance and sitting in the hot tub.

What a great little cabin to unwind and relax in and enjoy the lake and beautiful surroundings. The cabin was neat, clean, and cozy. it's not huge, but it's well appointed and would sleep quite a few folks. It's very close to the lake and general store, and just minutes from the boat ramp and good fishing spots. Setting is peaceful and quiet with good parking and great views. Check in and access was easy peasy, and Benjamin's communication was on point. Very responsive. Judging from the movie collection, he's my kind of people. We brought our Starlink, so the no Wi-Fi and low cell signal was no issue at all. There seemed to be good cell signal down by the lake too. Highly recommend this property, and we would stay there again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay in the eagle cabin. It was pretty quiet and peaceful. We used the communal hot tub and got it to ourselves both nights. The cabin has exactly what you need for a short stay. The stairs are no joke, ha, but not a deal breaker. The town is cute and has a couple restaurants and shops.

Was beautiful and was secluded, yet had unique amenities!

My husband, son and I were in town to visit family and to take in the Hot Air Ballon festival in Colo. Springs. What fun we had. The house has a wonderful view. The best in town. Friendly deer, not afraid of people. Easy to get around. Good outside patio. My only complaint was the kitchen. I am a foodie and have to cook most of my meals for myself and son. We are gluten free/dairy free and low sugar. Not having a well-stocked kitchen made it a little more interesting to cook some meals. awd
