Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso donde compartimos un fin de semana acompañado de perros y naturaleza, un lugar acogedor para ir en grupo o en pareja muy espacioso en la cocina equipada para preparar lo que nos gusta... Aun siendo pequeño para explorar, la compañía de los perros y lo hermoso de la vegetación hacen muy amena la estadía en un clima donde aunque hace frio la casa conserva muy bien el calor... Nos encantó el lugar

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

Honking the horn after hours to come in was awkward and I was told not to even come unless I called first before I arrived even after I paid and got receipt and the convo consisted of nothing important.

This place is definitely off the beaten path. We stayed here on our way to the carribean coast because we love learning about organic farming methods. The host Johnny is awesome! He greeted us with delicious dinner ready and we had great conversations about all sorts of stuff. Breakfast was great too and the farm tour was very interesting. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay for longer but we would recommend it because it looked fun!

Great place to stay if you wish to get some clear air. The property is huge and beautiful, with lots of trails to walk. The view is unbeatable, as soon as you walk out the cozy house, you'll be taken away by the mountains. Me and my friends will definitely revisit.

Excelente hotel, es el más antiguo en toda la zona de La Central desde hace más de 30 años entonces ya tiene su look rústico verdadero, habitaciones super espaciosas, donde estuvimos cabían 6 personas, 2 baños, 2 camas grandes y 2 individuales en cuartos separados, cada uno con su propia cocina de leña de las clásicas de hierro negro, la cocina super equipada, 2 discos, ollas, sartén, tazas diversas y muchos cubiertos, microondas y refrigerador, un sillón y muchas sillas y bastantes enchufes. El ventanal espectacular, se abren también para tener una vista sin obstáculos, puedes ir a ver las vacas y cabras de la finca y caminar por los senderos alrededor. Las caminatas al bosque quemado son lo más cercano y se podría ir hasta sin sacar el auto del lugar. Eso sí, no existe transporte público y si se ocupara, un taxi puede rondar 40$ cada trayecto, pero hay cobertura celular suficiente y con red de internet útil. Se debe mantener la cocina encendida ya que en 2-4h se puede apagar.

Excelente hospedaje, nos encantó. Lo escogimos para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo y fue todo lo que buscamos. Ubicación increíble, la cabaña demasiado hermosa y acogedora, clima delicioso, sinceramente un 100 de hospedaje. Estamos seguros de que vamos a volver😊

Describiría este hospedaje utilizando las palabras de mis sobrinos , fue como estar más arriba de las nubes casi tocando el cielo , los paisajes ,el clima y la ubicación hacen que sea ideal para relajarse y salir de la rutina , la casa es el mix perfecto entre tecnología y calidez de montaña , cada rincón del lugar está cuidadosamente decorado para que se sienta como un hogar . La anfitriona María Laura sin duda hizo una gran diferencia con la fluidez en la comunicación lo que hizo la estancia más amena y de verdad mi familia y yo nos sentimos como invitados espaciales , sin duda espero volver a este lugar , y recomiendo que si quieres crear lindos recuerdos no dudes en reservar también.

Nortico was beautiful. The Tiny House was easy to find and the hosts were very welcoming, communicative, and flexible. Kiara, the dog, was also so sweet and charming. You must do the tour to understand the inner-workings of the farm's beauty as well. Their approach to sustainable agriculture is insightful, inspiring, and fun. Thank you, Nortico!

Will and Leah were amazing hosts from the moment we arrived to the house. They greeted us with coconuts picked from their yard and started off our relationship by saying “Mi casa es su casa” when we were settling in. We really felt right at home and their warmth and hospitality was so appreciated. We loved exploring the grounds, especially the hike up the mountain which was located right on the property. Their dog Findy guided us along the mountain and the views from the top were breathtaking. We would be back in a heartbeat if/when we return to Costa Rica! Thank you for being wonderful hosts, Will and Leah!

Geweldige plek om een paar dagen te verblijven. Ontbijt is een absolute aanrader. De finca is rustig en ideaal voor kinderen. De rondleiding was leuk en interessant. Melania is een fijne host.

Seidy and her husband are incredible hosts. The house is better in real life than pictures on Air B&B can reveal! Highly recommend this spot. Our family felt right at home & wished we could have stayed longer. Very private and quiet. Active working farm. Again...Seidy is so kind. She met us at the door when we checked in, had fresh eggs, apples, tea and avocados waiting in the kitchen. She even offered to make us breakfast in the morning, which was beautiful and delicious! The house is incredibly clean. Do not look further for another house in Dota/ Copey. Reserve with Seidy... excellent all-around!! (:

Lugar precioso dentro de una finca hermosa. Especial para los amantes de la naturaleza. Se pueden realizar caminatas. Como está dentro de una lechería, para los niños pequeños es muy llamativo. La casita es muy acogedora, tiene de todo lo necesario y hasta tiene una chimenea especial para el frío de la noche. De verdad que recomendamos el lugar si lo que quiere es relajarse y descansar de la ciudad, aunque ofrece muy buen internet y cable. Nos encantaría regresar!.

Our stay at this home was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching toucans play in the trees each morning was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Afternoons by the pool were pure bliss, offering a serene escape surrounded by lush greenery. The home itself was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in nature with luxury and charm, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This place is truly my nirvana and magical get away. Because of its location it isn't for everyone. But I go there to be by myself so I can hike, swim, sit in the hot tub and eat excellent food. I love walking up and down the mountain. The local physical therapist, Rebecca at Macrobiotica Orosi always makes me feel better. Monica's place is absolutely spot on with decorations, amenities and grounds. I just can't rate this place high enough. If you have difficulty walking it isn't the place for you but if you like to be in nature and walk then you will love it.

Finca Guarumal is not just an Airbnb but an experience! I had planned a 20+km hike and found this Airbnb 8 min from the hiking trail. WOW am I glad I came across such a special and unique farm! The Airbnb was spacious, the kitchen was perfect with a large refrigerator, the bathroom was spa like and the washer and dryer is fantastic because I like packing light. Very clean and comfortable! Natalia created a cozy place! Beyond the Airbnb was the FARM and the surrounding beauty! Don Miguel, the owner of the farm for 40 years, is a breath of fresh air and has so much knowledge on both the animal life and flowers/trees! It was so amazing to walk the farm and the quiet roads and learn so much about nature. Also, the views are unmatched! The BEST part was the horses! I could have spent all day hanging out with the horses (and Don Miguel 😂). If you have a car there is so much to explore and do. Don Miguel can give suggestions based off of your interests. Thanks for a great experience!

This place is amazing. A super quiet and safe area. A craft brewery right next door. Just over one kilometre to walk to La Suiza. But it's downhill and and easy and scenic walk. We stayed for one month without a vehicle. We walked on average 10 km per day. And even after 30 days we still had new places to explore. We found two waterfalls with swimming holes nearby. Food and drinks are inexpensive in this area. And don't forget Walter. My new friend. He is an amazing person and host. He took us on a tour to see the areas best attractions. He was able to accommodate anything we needed. A real pleasure to get to know him and we look forward to next time. We will be back for another month. And quite possibly neighbours in the near future. If you're looking for outstanding surroundings in a beautiful place with good people and good vibes, this is perfect. Would recommend 100%. Nosotros ya es la segunda vez que vamos para trabajar… reunimos nuestro equipo de trabajo y es súper cómodo porque cada quien tiene su habitación con baño para comodidad. Tiene muchos espacios que pueden ser utilizados para tiempos de plantación y trabajo. Las zonas verdes y sus lugares de recreación son geniales para tiempos de compartir y unir el equipo. Tienen absolutamente todo lo que se pueda necesitar, las dos áreas de cocina son súper equipadas De verdad que es un lugar solo para llegar y llevar lo de uno personal porque todo lo demás lo suministran. No hay queja de nada es un hermoso lugar.

La estadía estuvo excelente. La propiedad era tal cual como se anunciaba y la vista desde la propiedad es muy bonita. Poder hacer una fogata en el sunset definitivamente fue la cereza del pastel. También la amabilidad y la atención de Don Francisco hizo nuestra estadía muy placentera. Recomendado para tener una estadía tranquila y conectar un poco con la naturaleza!

Excellent accommodation for families with children in Costa Rica! Milton and Isa have three children of their own and lots of horses, dogs, cats, chickens and cows. The location is fantastic and the property is secure (fenced) and large. Everything you need for a perfect farm vacation. As a German-Swiss family we stayed here for 10 days with our three children (5, 8 and 10 years old). The atmosphere on the farm is great. It's like a small community. On request, meals are also offered together in the volunteer house (for a fee). The host makes you feel welcome at all times. It was also touching and inspiring to see how lovingly Isa treats the horses. Our children enjoyed riding lessons almost every day (for an absolutely fair fee) and were allowed to work in the stables and play in the hayloft. The house, which Milton built himself, is solid, has a great layout and offers plenty of space. The beds are large and comfortable. There is also sufficient privacy. In short: Highly recommended!

Our stay at Casa Lajas was wonderful! The house was very spacious, set up beautifully, with the most spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The farm was lovely with such unique pools, colorful gardens, and a peaceful stream. The absolute highlight of the trip was Ms Ana and her cooking! We enjoyed every breakfast and dinner she prepared. The entire family was kind and welcoming. When one of my daughters was not feeling well, Ms Ana provided us with helpful advice and guidance to get her feeling well quickly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway, perfect for large families, retreats or reunions. We will most definitely return!!! Thank you Deiby and family!!!
