¡Una experiencia increíble en Playa Maderas! El lugar es muy bonito, rodeado de naturaleza y con una vista espectacular. La cabina estaba impecable, muy bonita y cómoda, perfecta para descansar. La piscina es excelente y se disfruta muchísimo, sobre todo al atardecer. El host fue muy amigable y siempre atento a todo lo que necesitáramos. La atención en general fue de primera. Sin duda, un lugar al que me encantaría volver.

Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

We had a great stay at Jose's apartment and are happy we came back! The place is comfortable, private, and has a great hot shower. It's close to the main town but still tucked away from the crowds and noise, offering a peaceful stay. The location is very walkable, just a few blocks from the market, restaurants, and cafes. Would definitely recommend!

Un verdadero escape del ruido de la ciudad. Este lugar combina lo mejor de dos mundos: la frescura del bosque y la tranquilidad de la playa. Es un espacio sereno, rodeado de naturaleza, con una vista preciosa y el sonido del viento y los pájaros que te envuelve desde que llegás. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería con los ojos cerrados.

Fue maravilloso. Las instalaciones todas muy bien mantenidas y limpias, cuenta con todo lo necesario, cada habitación tiene su propio baño y aire acondicionado, aunque no fue necesario usarlo en la noche porque es muy fresco. La cocina super bien equipada, incluyendo agua para beber y hielo. Una terraza estilo mezzanine que disfrutamos mucho en la noche. El acceso al baño en la laguna espectacular y lo mejor es que hay una piscina perfecta para los chicos, andábamos con nuestras hijas que la disfrutaron por horas cuando ya no querían más estar en la laguna. Especial mención para Luis, el chico nos atendió, super atento y dispuesto a ayudarnos con todo. Fue perfecto, sin lugar a dudas volvería y lo recomiendo.

I had a great week staying at Dunia’s place. It was incredibly relaxing and right by the beach. I was working the whole week and wifi was great - no issues with video calls. If I’m ever back in Maderas, I’ll be sure to stay at Dunia’s again.

We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

Uris Cabana is the perfect stay if you want to come down a bit. It was super clean, peaceful and the pool is amazing! Uri was always helpful and we felt in good hands. It’s 2 minutes away from a pretty beach, here are some shops around and the kitchen is full equipped which is good if you want to cook by yourself :) we loved to stay here and will definitely come back!

pictures don’t do the place justice. The area feels safe and easy to navigate to the beach and back. shankton is the perfect house to unwind with a few friends over a long weekend. Nemer was extraordinarily kind and responsive and helped us organize a number of activities flawlessly: airport transfers, boat rental, and even a gorgeous seafood dinner cooked at our home. Would definitely come back. a truly memorable experience.

Margarita's place is a great spot for exploring nearby Popoya surf and comfortable enough to settle in with a book in the hammock after. Very close to a nearly empty beach nearby, and a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest surf breaks. Be sure to catch the fruit/veg truck when it goes by otherwise the nearby market has the essentials.

This was our fourth year staying at Sandor's place. There are always changes for the better. The grounds are beautiful and the house has plenty of room for up to four people. The pool area with shaded patio is nice for the hot Nicaragua weather. Carlos and Cristhian, caretakers, are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Sandor is always quick to respond to any questions we have. We are already looking forward to a return trip in 2026!

Excelente casa frente a la laguna de Apoyo, una vista impresionante. El lugar es tranquilo para disfrutar en familia o con amistades. La casa tiene todo el equipamiento necesario para las amenidades disponibles. El personal que nos atendió durante la visita siempre fue de gran ayuda y bien amables.

El apartamento es una verdadera joya en todo el sentido de la palabra. Ubicado estratégicamente para tomar hacia las playas del norte y del sur de San Juan del Sur, muy cerca del Cristo de la Misericordia y aún más del centro de la bahía, literalmente son 200 metros. Las comodidades del lugar son impecables y nos pareció un detalle de alto nivel el filtro de agua y la pantalla con distintas plataformas para visitantes. Este sitio destacable sin lugar a dudas y para repetir la visita. Muchas gracias Lauren y Nadiezdha por su fina atención y comunicación.

We stayed at Lauren's condo for 2 nights. We have stayed in this condo building before but in a different unit. Lauren's unit is very clean. There's a nice breeze from the patio, so you don't really need to use the AC in the living room/kitchen area. The condo is very spacious and more than enough space for 5 people. The beds are comfortable, and the pillows are ok. The kitchen is clean, bathrooms are clean, and the AC's worked well. The water was hot too which is nice. We didn't use the kitchen because we mainly ate out at restaurants so I cannot comment on that. The fridge worked well. The pool at the building is nice and refreshing when you are so hot from walking around town. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend renting this unit as everything went well.

Es un lugar muy amplio, iluminado, limpio y organizado. El sector es muy tranquilo, con restaurant, tiendas, farmacias y supermercados cerca. Me sentí muy cómodo en todo momento, estuvieron pendientes de mí, me dieron recomendaciones y ayuda, muy útiles. Mi experiencia fue excelente, extremadamente recomendable que hospeden acá.

Tom was super responsive, had a WiFi issue, he was all over it. Great place to stay, would love to go back.

Maria was the kindest host. The place was serene and gorgeous- we felt right at home. She recommended the best restaurants in Managua and even Granada. The place was just as listed. Quiet at night, easy to locate, decorated with impeccable taste. We will definitely be back. Many thanks!
