Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

We had an amazing stay at the property. The hot tub was fab and all the furnishings and amenities were beautiful and spotless. Lovely outside deck with seating and a view of the pond. It felt very luxurious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Shame it was only for one night! There is a Tesco superstore 5 min drive away to pick up anything you need. We will hopefully be back again to stay another time!

Fantastic house - really comfortable and well located. The location is great right beside the shop. We also enjoyed using the leisure club, the claghsn inn and Skoosh. Easy access to the quieter side of Loch Lomond was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Beth's place was quiet but still within walking distance to everything we needed. This is a great place for families and friends! The bus station is down the hill, making it a breeze to get to City Center. The train is a nice walk through the park. I highly recommend Beth's place😄

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

The house was beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Ross was efficient and friendly, quick response to messages. Very clean and a nice garden. Pub in the village has great food and friendly staff so would recommend that also Only issue we had was that we struggled with hot water in the showers sometimes. The water was either freezing cold or too hot in the upstairs double. Overall a cosy stay and we would definitely return!

We really enjoyed staying here folder was really helpful! Smelt lovely and clean when you walk in, Tracey was really helpful and friendly felt right at home :) would stay here again. :)

The property was extremely clean, well appointed with extra details like condiments in the kitchen. It was situated at the end of a quiet tree lined road and although it was near lots of good facilities it felt very peaceful. We didn't use the patio area much as we had a busy weekend with our family but it would have been nice to have breakfast or coffee there. The parking was very convenient and the neighbours seemed very flexible about parking spaces. It was easy to unload the car into the house. Although it is not a large house, it was fine for two of us for a few days. The beds were comfortable , there was enough storage space and a very good shower in the newly fitted bathroom.

Pictures do not do accomodation justice. Kitchen/living space is phenomenal. We had a great family trip. Close enough to the main estate/facilities yet far enough away that it is very peaceful. Definitely 5 star accommodation and worth the extra £££s.

Thanks so much to Grant for letting us stay. I couldn’t recommend his place enough - a perfect spot for us whilst we investigated Arran. Grant was a great host, going above and beyond to provide a high chair and baby bath for our infant.

Anita’s place is great for family. We enjoyed very much staying there. We purchased the Scottish dinner which is awesome 👍🏻. The beautiful view next to the river. It was so relaxing.

We had a fab stay, great location, excellent home from home. The weather was fantastic which enabled us to use the lovely peaceful garden.

Brian is a very welcoming host. we had a lovely warm comfortable stay for the New Year celebrations. Easy walk to the Battle of Bannockburn site.

My (now) husband and I were looking for somewhere unique to get married, we knew it was going to be a very small wedding and we seen this house on here and just fell in love with it. I messaged Angela and explained about wanting to hold our wedding here and asked if it would be okay, she was extremely quick to respond and allowed us to hold it there. It was pure perfection. I wish we could do it all over again!! The house itself is absolutely amazing. Rooms are huge, we loved having an en suite and being able to use it without having a child wanting us to hurry up as they needed something or wanted in to use it lol. I'd recommend this house to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be back again as it will always hold a very special place in our hearts ♥️

Place was exactly as expected. We only had a short stay, but found all the amenities and space that we needed and expected from the listing. Connie and co hosts were great and were very responsive prior to our stay and throughout.

The place felt like home away from home… everything was perfect and intact, my family had a good time with no complain whatsoever. The Furnitures, utensils and amenities were perfectly fitted for our stay. The environment is calm and peaceful…

We had a great stay at Priyanka’s place. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and living room were ideal for us. Priyanka was a great host and was very responsive, helping us with a few queries during our stay. Thanks for all your help and hospitality!

Beautiful house with plenty of room for 9 of us. Amazing deck with the most beautiful view. We had a wonderful time.
