What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

This was our fourth time at Jane's home. We always have a brilliant time and this was no exception. We love the little quirky features of the house, the location right on the beach and always feel very comfortable and at home. Thanks Jane - I'm sure we'll be back again!

Wow! We had a truly wonderful weekend at the Log Cabin, we didn't want to leave.. it is the perfect place to relax and recharge with uninterrupted beautiful views, total privacy and peace & quiet. As a family of four with our dog, the cabin suited us perfectly, the en suite bathrooms in each bedroom were a fantastic bonus. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed a lovely walk in the surrounding area. Thank you Andrew, this was the perfect place to spend my birthday weekend!

We had a lovely stay for NYE at Ingram House! The bar area was a great space to relax in and the dining room and lounge area were also lovely. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!

On arrival we immediately felt at home. The surrounding area was beautiful and the grounds were large and very child friendly. My grandson chose this area to do his 4.5Km charity walk during his time here. The jacuzzi was a big hit. The house was also large and accommodated 6 adults and five children between 5 yrs to 10 yrs. with ease. A modern kitchen was very well equipped with good quality items, it was very large and easy to work in, even the larder was well stocked with essentials. You could tell that Tim, our host, takes pride in the house, furnishing it with many William Morris fabrics, amongst others, tasteful art, plus original wooden features etc. Crisp linen and decent size bathroom towels. Tim, an all round lovely chap, popped in to welcome us with a gift of local produce from a local farm shop.....the raspberry jam was to die for. games and books were aplenty also. We are hoping to return again. I will, without a doubt recommend Tim's property.

This is a lovely Air BnB that we really enjoyed. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and the easy walk to the beach and canal all very manageable with our large group of children! We even got into the sea! We drove to Dover Castle for a brilliant day out and did the same going to Canterbury, both terrific expeditions. Lots more to do in the area. The hosts were very good at communicating with us when we needed anything, even though it was the Easter weekend, and the instructions for the home are very clearly laid out. Good wifi, lovely garden, and all ideal for our holiday!

we stayed with family and friends for the Easter weekend. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Christine welcomed us at the house and showed us around so we knew how everything worked. The house is a lovely space and exactly as described and shown in the pictures. we had a lot of fun. all of the kitchen essentials are provided and so much more. we would love to stay here again.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We spent a wonderful 5 days at Hesmonds. Stephanie’s instructions/directions sent prior to the check in date were clear and helpful. There was a lovely welcome pack of the essentials such as milk, bread etc waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. It is in a beautiful location and has its own private entrance as well as space to park the car. It is within walking distance of the local pub, coffee shop and village store and a short drive to lots of lovely villages as well as the south coast. We will definitely come back to visit again.

James is an excellent host. The accommodation also excellent. I can't even find a constructive criticism. From my three young children and I, an unqualified five stars!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer. Der Blick durch die Fenster im Wohn- und oben im Schlafzimmer ist super schön und hat etwas beruhigendes. Der Strand ist über eine kleine Mauer im Vorgarten direkt erreichbar. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft klein und gemütlich und verfügt über alles, was es benötigt. Die Betten sind mega gemütlich und alles war super sauber und gepflegt. Simone ist gut erreichbar, hat alles bestens beschrieben und war sehr zuvorkommend. Sie hat einen Willkommens-Gruß und -Snack bereitgestellt und, da wir mit Kleinkind unterwegs waren, hat sie uns sogar einen Hochstuhl und ein Kinderbett besorgt. Da wir in den Bewertungen gelesen hatten, die Unterkunft sei schlecht zu finden: wir haben sie aufgrund der genauen Beschreibung sofort gefunden und hatten keinerlei Umstände! Auch der Hinterhof war einfach der Eingang von verschiedenen kleinen Häusern und Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern.

Fantastische BnB in een schitterende omgeving. Het was schoon, ruim en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. We dacht van te voren op basis van de advertentie dat er weinig voorzieningen voor te koken waren maar er waren meerdere pitjes en alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben overigens niet gekookt, want binnen 15 minuten rijden vind je talloze restaurants in alle prijsklassen. Sowieso kun je vanuit het huisje in een uur tijd een maand aan uitjes vullen. Vanuit de BnB loop je zo het bos in wat weer aansluit op prachtige wandelroutes. In het bos naast het huisje hebben we genoten van hele tapijten bluebells. Katy en Brian zijn heel aardig, behulpzaam en alleen aanwezig als je ze nodig hebt.

Beautifully positioned for a break away by the sea. The house is small but incredibly charming and there is so much to do in Whitstable and beyond on the Kent coast. Whilst parking provided us with a bit of a headache, that is a small price to pay for the change to stay in this hidden gem and Amanda was really helpful and responsive.

Such a beautiful building and lovely surroundings. Was greeted by the friendly dogs on arrival and managed to get in earlier . The two downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were amazing . Quirky furniture all around , well equipped kitchen . The bedroom up on the platform was lovely although a bit difficult to get to up the steep ladder. The bathroom up there was amazing. Just best used by the younger fitter adults . Had fun feeding the donkeys and watching the others use the zip line. Information available for local walks which was lovely and was recommend where to go for a beach day where it would not be so crowded. All in all had a lovely few days break there .

The Hive is set in beautiful surroundings and the space is really nicely set up with big sliding doors out on to a deck looking over a wooded area. Kevin and Stella were friendly and really helpful when we needed anything. The kitchen was stocked with really helpful essentials like coffee and had everything we needed.

Lovely place very clean and cozy. Hot tub was great also very clean. Love the little touches with the eggs and orange juice. Will book again in the summer when the pool is open thanks for our stay.

Larissa's place is wonderful and provided the perfect space for our needs. The garden is HUGE and access to the hot tub was a bonus too. The accommodation was well appointed with everything we needed and very homely. We had a very warm welcome and I would highly recommend this place to others.

Fabulous week, swallows nest cottage was lovely and the swimming pool was great, we were the only ones in there each time. Chris even opened the pool early for us which was much appreciated. Used the steam room too and the fabulous hot tub - had fabulous walks with our two spaniels, along the coast to Firehills was our favourite. The Cove pub was amazing, very dog friendly, warm (log fire) and welcoming, food fantastic. All in all a really lovely week. Chris and Erik very ready to help but totally happy to leave you to enjoy their lovely gardens etc. We’ll be back! Thank you Chris and Erik

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

Carrie is a fantastic host and we enjoyed our stay at her place. The cottage has everything you need for a long family stay. And families with young kids will enjoy extra stuff like high chairs and toys. There is also a nice private garden and the bbq area.

Absolutely fabulous!! What a perfect place! The location is superb, just enough out of the way to be quiet and see all the stars, yet close enough to the cities and transportation to get anywhere you need without a fuss. Plus the pool and the gardens!! What a fantastic treat! Alex was so wonderfully accommodating and helpful! She had all the little niceties, especially for a family, that made our stay just a little bit easier. Super clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better host or accommodations!

We enjoyed a wonderful long Easter weekend in this charming cottage. The space was cozy and perfectly appointed, lots of old charm - original cottage was built in 1550! - and special touches that delighted our children and made us feel like we were in quite a magical little space. The gardens are beyond gorgeous and just a lovely space to sit in the sunshine and watch our children play. It was a wonderful weekend filled with children’s laughter, bird song and cozy nights by the fire as a family. Thank you Tim & Maite for sharing your gorgeous cottage with us. The children are already asking we come back soon!

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!
