Great location for a family Thanksgiving weekend. The home is larger in person than the photos. Beautifully furnished & top of the line appliances & bedding . We would highly recommend.

Nancy and Sam were amazing hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at their place. Great views, great amenities and overall a wonderful place. Would love to come here again!!

We were super happy with the location of the home! Very walkable, loved that we were steps from both the bay and the ocean! Lower patio and rooftop were our favorite places to take in the evenings! Water toys were abundant and we enjoyed using the kayaks out in the bay. It was a little difficult to control the temperature in the home, but nothing that would deter us from returning. That may have been an "us" problem, too. Only other "quirk" I would mention is that you have to walk through a bathroom to get to the 2nd bedroom. Again, not that big of a deal, especially when traveling with kids. Overall, the house was perfect for our family of 3. Nick was very responsive when I reached out. Neighbors were friendly. Great recommendations for places to eat. Highly suggest Kono's! We all said we would definitely stay here again on a return trip! Thank you, Nick for such a great stay!!

Loved our stay at Joseph’s home- the view is amazing and the home was cozy and had everything we needed- the area was cute and we enjoyed our walks around the lake area- you won’t be disappointed

Jodi and Dan's house is cute, clean and comfortable and we had the loveliest stay. The kitchen is set up perfectly and makes staying in for meals very convenient. The beds have nice linens and are comfortable and the master bathroom is particularly beautiful. There are speakers around the house that make listening to music easy and everything in the house is easy to find. Getting the kayaks into the river is a bit of an adventure with the marshy area, but it is worth it once you are out enjoying the river. The river really is the highlight of staying here. I also apprecaited the outdoor shower with warm water to clean up from the river. We hope to stay again because this house is a true gem. Thank you, Jodi and Dan!

We absolutely loved the beautiful home that was decorated with a beach theme. Very comfortable with lots of amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, huge TV and one in every bedroom, outside deck with loungers and table w/ chairs and bbq. The beds were very comfortable and our family loved the location and attention to detail. Plus Laura was quick in answering questions and providing information about the area. We will return to enjoy the watercrafts there and boating access. Thank you, Laura!!

We, my group of 4 women, a weekend retreat, were relaxed and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals and found most things we needed. (We always bring things we don't expect a basic kitchen to have.) For basic cooking it was well stocked and with coffee, spices too. Shopping was just a few minutes away and restaurants also. A great place and we would stay again. Thank you Madison.

Absolutely loved this location. It felt like we were at a spa retreat with the fountain, outdoor shower, and hot tub. David’s guide is the best I’ve seen on Airbnb. Lots of great recommendations and instructions for the house. We felt right at home and the surrounding neighbors that we saw were very friendly. 10/10!

This place is a phenomenal find! I hadn't been to Manila in about 15 years but it's a very special area. The community park, Bay views are truly amazing. Katy was the best to talk to including being so helpful to get the heater battery replaced. The space is stylish, comfortable, has everything you need and could ask for and feel right at home. I could move in next week. I can't wait to return a couple times a year to explore more and more of the area. Very quiet, safe and peaceful location. A binder full of local recommendations, cookbooks to make food there, perfect location for both Arcata and Eureka. My birthday trip was excellent due to being able to stay here.

This place is everything you could want for a fishing trip and more! I surprised my husband for his birthday with a stay in Cottage #5, and he loved every minute of it. The views were stunning morning and night, and the dock was just steps from the door—he fished from sunrise to sunset! We grilled steaks and had dinner by the water, and I enjoyed peaceful morning coffee with a view. The cottage was cozy and had all the basics we needed. The bed deserves its own shoutout—super comfortable! No TV, but we brought a projector and watched movies in the living room. Just a heads-up: there were a lot of bugs, which is expected in nature, so definitely bring bug spray. We had to DoorDash some along with candles, though not sure how much they helped. Overall, it was a relaxing and fun trip. We loved it and are already thinking about making this a yearly tradition. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful fishing getaway!

Is it fancy? No. But it is reasonably priced, in a convenient location, has a great hot tub, and a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful Airbnb! We are a young family with two small boys, and we enjoyed our weekend, we walked to the river for a picnic, we enjoyed the amazing views. We used the hot tub, the games in the upper floor and the well equipped kitchen. Overall we had an amazing family time.

Really peaceful and at the same time very well located close to Mount Shasta supermarket and various places you can eat. Kitchen spotless, really well stocked which was great on Christmas day - our son made pancakes for us in the morning :) Recommend and will definitely book again.

I’ve done A LOT of traveling and have stayed in many Airbnbs, but Mama K’s is by far my most favorite! The house is lovely and has more than the amenities anyone would need and, I’ve never stayed in a more CLEAN Airbnb before— all the tiny details have not been overlooked! This was my second time enjoying the space & I did not want to leave. It’s one of the most beautiful, spotless (and I am very detail oriented!) and peaceful places I’ve spent time. The grounds are absolutely beyond beautiful— from the lush yard to the incredible access to the Russian River out the back door to the outdoor shower and private clawfoot tub, the hot tub on the deck to the whimsical gardens, use of river toys (canoes & kayaks) and more! I had tears in my eyes when it was time to leave! I cannot say enough about this truly one of a kind and magical place. Thank you Karen for the opportunity to enjoy a true slice of heaven!

Great place on the river. We only stayed a couple of nights, but there is plenty to do in the area. Didn't have a chance to try out the kayaks, as we were here in early spring, but this seems like a fun thing to do. The place is just as described, there is everything you need to cook and entertain the kids. The place is cozy, but big enough for a family with 2-3 kids, if you don't mind having a single bathroom.

Great host, easy to communicate with. Place is really cozy and the setting is majestic. **Children friendly** I picket it because it had a playground for kids, and the place is pretty spacious for a bigger group. kitchen is very well equipped. Highly recommended!

This was our first vacation in 4 years. The cabin was a wonderful place to stay and relax after long days of exploring the area. Only about 10 minutes from Yosemite South Gate. 55 minutes to the Valley. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Beautiful location facing the lake, walking distance to the little town of Crestline. I really enjoyed the set up, it had a large family room with a kitchen dining room table and fireplace then a separate den with tv. We found ourselves navigating to each area depending on what we were doing. It was nice not having a tv and just enjoying the company. The views were breathtaking as well.

First impression opening door to cabin-WOW! I wanted a quiet place among the trees and that’s exactly what it is. Sandy and Lynne were so friendly and accommodating, they make you feel like a welcomed neighbor. Tree views out of every window. Smell of forest overwhelmed my senses, host’s loving huggable dogs were a bonus, even walking grounds smelling burning wood was wonderful. Didn’t do any trails but maybe next time because this place beckons me to return.

Laura was an incredible host. She responded promptly to texts and calls with the many questions I had. She was always very helpfull, very pleasant and accommodating. We were delighted with our stay.

So glad we booked this beautiful cabin! As two couples on a US road trip, it was just perfect! We stayed for a couple of days, loved the river, the sound of frogs in evening, the walks, the giant Sequoias, the local eateries and shops - literally everything was perfect. Thanks Rod - we want to come back!!
