I spent a month in Gyan and Simon's boatshed and had the most wonderful time. I slept peacefully with the sound of the waves in the background. I woke up every morning to the birds singing and enjoyed the most incredible sunrises on the beach just four minutes from the house. Endless walks on the beach, through the national park and it's only a stone's throw to the centre of Byron Bay. Everything here has been chosen with love and taste. Delicious organic produce greeted me in the fridge on arrival. The boatshed has everything you need to feel at home. Gyan and Simon are the sweetest and most caring hosts. They gave me as much privacy as I wanted but were always there for me when I needed help. Thanks to their local tips and help with some of the organisation, I was able to explore so much and see the most beautiful places. It was incredible! Leaving this magical place and these beautiful humans was not easy.

I had the pleasure of staying at Kirsten’s cottage while visiting for a family reunion nearby. The space was perfect for our needs, and the check-in process was smooth and straightforward. Kirsten was incredibly responsive to messages and flexible with our requests. The space is clearly a labour of love, and we felt right at home. Comfortable beds, soft pillows, plush linen, everything was taken care of. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Such a beautiful property. We were very pleasantly surprised how gorgeous the pool house was. Very spacious, private, lovely pool. Almost like a luxury villa at a resort. The area very central between Lennox, Suffox Park, Bangalow, Byron. Up high in the hills with stunning views. Comfy bed, comfy space. I had to work a few days, great internet. Prob my most favourite office ever. 🤣. Jenny and Mark very friendly, gave us tips. We will be back. Highly recommend. And I’m a bit if of a fuss pot with accommodation. It’s a winner.

Stayed with my daughter for 3 nights. The cottage is tucked behind the host's house. It is a quiet location away from a street which is very busy when it is a good beach day. The air-conditioning was very welcome. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor table looking at the garden. It is a short walk to Belongil Beach and a pleasant longer walk along the beach to the Byron Bay township.

What a beautiful little cabin for a peaceful getaway. the Cabin has everything you need for basic cooking, is lovely and clean and comfortable. The outdoor bath tub was an amazing place to spend time and sit by the fire while having a nice wine on the deck. The whole property is amazing with a great variety of fruit trees and a lovely little swimming hole to enjoy. It was easy to get supplies from the local towns in Bangalow and Lismore and a great area to explore the new Rail trail. I would highly recommend a stay here if you want to get away from it all.

We had a great stay here for a few days - clean, private and comfortable! Really well located in the Byron area in our view - Suffolk is only a short drive away from Byron central and Lennox - so we had a great access to nearby food and drink options! Would definitely come back again!

What an absolutely delightful little college, secluded with the most beautiful garden surrounding it. Kitchen was very well set up with all the appliances you might need. Absolutely beautiful to hear nothing but noises of birds and trees. Jeannine was extremely responsive about an earlier check-in and a last-minute booking. Absolutely will stay there again.

The interior design is beautiful and it’s more spacious than the pictures, which is really nice. Especially the living room is really aesthetic and we used it to shoot the getting ready of our Groomsmen. The accommodation is in a beautifully quiet part of Byron but close to all the cool food and coffee spots in the industrial area.

What a delightful studio and I agree with the reviews I read even better in real life!!! Lots of thoughtfulness and care taken, loved it and especially the outdoor shower!!! Great location and so quiet, slept like a baby on the comfy bed too!

Isabella was a delightful hostess who communicated well and the cottage was clean and quiet. It is located within easy walking distance to Baker & daughter for great coffee. I would happily recommend this accommodation if you are staying in this area.

This place is first class and I highly recommend it. The accommodation is super chic (reminiscent of some of the W Hotels I’ve stayed in). The central Bangalow location means it’s a short walk to markets, coffee and bakeries with plenty of options for dining and cocktails. Alternatively grab a few groceries from the farmers market, hinterland honesty boxes or shops and prep something in the well equipped kitchen. The property overlooks Piccabeen Park which is perfect for yoga or an early morning walk. I found the hosts responsive, helpful, warm and accommodating. They are locals and know all the cool spots if you’re looking for recommendations for anything. I discovered the property is associated with the luxurious Bangalow Wellness Hub, so on my next visit I’m bringing my sister and we’re booking ourselves some treatments! Many thanks to the hosts for a very special and much needed weekend in paradise. I will be back soon!

What can I say, this is the most relaxing space. You can feel the magic as you drive down the road towards it. The view is outstanding. I’ve been many times and I never want to leave. I’ll be back many more times too I hope. Thanks Garry and Suzy.

Kate and Jason’s place is peaceful, private and perfect. The bathroom is really spacious and the bedding is really soft and luxurious, the kitchen has everything you need and there’s a cute little outdoor patio space to sit and relax in. Thanks very much Paula and Harley for hosting me, I had a great time in Byron staying at the Bei Villa. The place is great for a short getaway and close to the town making things easier. Hosts were great and very friendly and responsive, everything went smoothly, so it’s definitely recommended. This little place is magic. Like a secluded tree house. The birds were beautiful, the rainforest close enough to touch. The apartment was immaculate and perfect for our stay. Can’t express enough how much we loved our stay.

I had an incredible stay at Joanne’s studio in Bangalow, the place was beautiful with everything you need! The location was perfect, many restaurants within walking distance and not a far drive from Byron. Private and peaceful, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bangalow or Byron. Thank you again Joanne and Holly!

Perfect location, it felt secluded from the main part of town, but walking distance to everything needed. Very spacious and beautiful house.

The location was perfect and the neighborhood was so quiet. It is an easy bike ride or walk to town and we had an awesome breakfast up the road! The place looked just like the pictures. It was clean and very comfortable. We left well rested and loved our stay. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for Bluesfest 2025. I was a little worried about the walk, especially back from the bus at night in the dark, but there were no issues. The outdoor area really made the place - such a relaxing place overnight and for mornings relaxing before hectic afternoons/evenings at the Festival. Thanks so much - we hope to be back! Even though Darrel and Ross were overseas when we stayed, their housesitter was lovely and welcoming and the instructions for finding the place were top-notch!
