Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! I stayed here with 6 friends, the place was very homey. I loved the cute little accents to the house that provided a vibe like no other! The bedrooms were so comfortable. Going to local stores was not much of a hassle. The home has pots and pans, and cooking utensils if it is ever needed. There is a cute lake 4 minutes of a walk to sit down on the ledge and dip your feet in for a nice relaxation. We were not able to use the lake for swimming purposes due to the weather, but it is a great place if you want a weekend getaway or that of some sort with a group of close friends and family. Samantha was more than great at accommodating, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service to us! We appreciate her attentiveness and all around care during our stay. We planned a short Easter break vacation to the Poconos, and this was an excellent choice for a stay. Beautiful, clean home with lots of space and tons to do without ever leaving the house. The option to add on the amenities from the community was a nice touch. The kids didn’t want to leave! Baruch was absolutely incredible - probably the most rapid response time of any host we’ve had. We loved it here.

Lovely home. Deer came right up to the window. We had a much needed peaceful getaway. Our host was kind, quickly responsive, and flexible. We loved the hot tub and are looking forward to returning

We absolutely loved our stay! Giancarlo and Francesca were responsive and attentive hosts. We initially misunderstood the check-out time, thinking it was 11:30 AM instead of 10:00 AM. Once we realized our mistake, we asked if we could extend our check-out to 11:30 AM, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Although it may seem like a small gesture, it made a huge difference for us. Thank you for being our host. I highly recommend booking this cozy home!

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and super helpful with everything. The views and location were truly incredible. I recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay in this area.
