The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

What a wonderful host, and magical place. It was such a lovely time, we’ve booked to come again. Mike is a treat, a remarkable character who exudes a warm that makes you feel instantly at home. The barn is full of charm and the chickens, ducks and peacocks a delight (especially if you see them angling for a biscuit from Mike!) The pool is incredible. Perfect for all ages. We’re half visiting again in the hope the kids will be bored of the pool and we’ll be able to get out and explore more… I don’t hold out too much hope on that one. A real gem of a find.

Delanie couldn’t have been more helpful. We arrived to an amazing welcome hamper and balloons for my sister in laws 30th. The house was lovely. The bar and pool area were just wow!! We spent the whole day by the the pool Saturday. It was lovely and warm and so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

The hobbit house was very spacious, clean, modern and loved the overall decor. We felt comfortable and at home here. Lovely bed with the skylight, and comfy chairs to chill and watch TV. The kitchen was easy to use! Absolutely loved the hot tub, it felt private and the surroundings was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the pool, it was lovely and warm for us and we had it all to ourselves! The host Michael was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around, he ensured we felt right at home. He also recommended some places to visit and where to eat/drink in the area too. He was flexible and happy for us to use our hot tub and the pool at any hour. When we mentioned we’d forgotten our speaker for music, he kindly let us borrow his which was so kind, and we really enjoyed it! Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely come here again, thank you!

Highly recommend a 2 night stay here. There is so was much to do and it was so enjoyable - we had a group of 10 people ranging from 30 to 1 year old and we all had so much fun! From swimming all day to playing on the football pitch and tennis court - it was truly never ending fun especially for the kids. The cottage was lovely, very nice and clean and everything needed was already there. It is abit far from local shops so definitely something to keep in mind but other than that it was a great stay. Host is very helpful!

I would definitely recommend John’s place for a visit to Hebden Bridge! Conveniently close to the train station, the house is in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. The place is very spacious. Kitchen was spotless, beds were really comfortable, and John left a kind welcome pack of breakfast ingredients, fruit and snacks. There’s also lots of useful info about the area, including walks, restaurants and pubs.

I just stayed 5 nights and had a very comfortable stay. Irene's place really is a home away from home! communication was excellent prior to my arrival, and the house was perfectly located for a few events I had in the city centre and surrounding areas of Bradford. I was able to park outside the house, and with lots of driving around this was really important. The house is very welcoming and warm, comfortably furnished including super comfy beds and pillows! great WiFi, shops and everything you need close by. I really couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better host, and I will look to book again next time I'm in town! thank you for everything Irene ☺️

Exactly what we needed for a night away for a wedding. Usmaan was helpful and flexible and made our stay much easier. The instructions for check in were really helpful and the house had everything we needed for 5 adults to stay. Really appreciated the clear communication and flexibility. Thanks so much.

This is a perfect house for a group holiday. It's spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped and in a great location for exploring Buxton and the beautiful local countryside. We had a wonderful stay and would like to return.

The house is definitely home from home vibe! It was brilliant for all age groups and would definitely return. The house is absolutely spotless, even had hoover lines in every room. Adam is a great host and communicates back promptly. I would 100% recommend staying here! The hot tub was a hit for all the family too!

Had a really love stay at this property for a hen do. Really scenic location, host was welcoming and very friendly. Gave clear instructions on where to park, plenty of car parking spaces. It is on a steep hill, so just something to bear in mind. House was lovely and clean and had everything we needed! Beds were super comfy too! Thanks again Sara! x

We had a great stay, location was perfect for us. visited for the Manchester marathon. transport links were great and local take aways that were recommended were fab. Karl met us at check in and was very friendly. The accommodation was more than we hoped for. Lots of room for us all. The kitchen is perfect. We did spend most of our time in Manchester, however a couple of the guests took a walk to the local reservoir and enjoyed that. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Charlie & Rosie's house was fabulous & as the hosts they were very good at communicating! It was comfortable and peaceful, just what was needed. Perfect location, quiet & easily walkable to all the shops & restaurants! 10 out of 10! 🙂

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic. The home is wonderfully spacious with a lovely layout that made it feel both welcoming and functional. Situated on a quiet street, it offered the perfect retreat for relaxation. The kitchen was a standout feature, equipped with everything you need and even a charming serving hatch that leads to the conservatory—such a thoughtful touch! The bedding was impeccable, smelling fresh and clean, which added to the comfort of the stay. The host was incredibly responsive and ensured that every need was promptly attended to, making the experience even more seamless. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a delightfu house near Manchester.

Lovely to be back at Danielle’s - just as clean and tidy as last time - exactly what was needed!

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic weekend staying in this property. We were attending a football match at the Etihad and it was a short 10 minute walk from the house. Absolutely perfect for what we wanted, would 100% book in here again if we ever return to watch Man City in the future.

Great house - all equipment needed and really comfortable beds. Just stayed one night but would definitely stay again if coming to the area.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cosy, and just like the photos. It’s in a quiet and peaceful area, which was exactly what I was looking for. If you’re going to the arena, it’s only a 10-minute drive really convenient. The best part was the bar the host has it’s really, really nice and adds a unique touch to the stay. Everything was reasonably priced too. The host was friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend!
