Our stay at Jason’s cabin was a 4/5 experience. While the cabin had potential, several issues impacted our visit. The biggest problem was the misleading description: we assumed each cabin was private based on the photos, but the fine print revealed it’s actually a shared community space. We spoke with other guests, and they had the same confusion. One cabin was told the sauna was private, while others were given shared-use instructions, which felt inconsistent. The hot tub area had a red ant infestation, and I ended up with several bites. Additionally, the property has multiple hosts, leading to unclear communication. One of the other occupants even shared pictures showing how unclean their cabin was, which raised concerns about cleanliness across the property. In our cabin, the floor was coming apart, which was disappointing. Knowing all this now, I’d consider staying again if I were more inclined to being social and sharing space with others. However it wasn’t quite what I expected

The place itself was nice and updated providing us with everything we needed. We loved that it was so close to everything. And it was a bonus to have the pickleball court, firepit, and hot tub.

Liz was a great host! Very communicative and proactive. The location was perfect and the view was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Cabin was very warm and peaceful. we had a very relaxing stay! The hot tub was perfect. There is plenty of places to shop around the cabin. We would definitely stay again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful cabin, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The setting was peaceful and stunning — the views, especially at sunrise and sunset, were breathtaking. A highlight was the private jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cabin also offered access to kayaks and fishing, making our stay even more special. We spent time out on the water, surrounded by nature, and it was incredibly calming. The host went above and beyond — smooth communication and a sweet birthday detail for my partner made us feel truly welcome. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. My pet also felt at home, with space to explore and relax. I highly recommend this cabin for couples, solo travelers, families, and pet owners. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and thoughtful hospitality. We’re already looking forward to coming back

Near perfection! Here are the things we loved: -Outside was maintained and lots of yard to play in, discover, and walk. Plus she had yard games available. Also a huge fire pit and comfy chairs, hammock, and large circular swing. They also have a waterproof bin of fire starting materials that was super helpful. -Delicious Kcup options for coffee. -Tons of soft, heavy, comfortable blankets. -Comfy beds and couches. -Plenty of towels for our family of 5. -Clean house and not overdone with decor. -MASSAGE CHAIR! -Chest of games and puzzles (and dvds lol) -Very quick to respond. Overall, We will go here again because it is an amazing place! So many positives! Kids want to live here!!

This place was so cute and cozy. It was perfect for us to visit family living across the lake!

The cabin is nestled on a little slice of heaven in a private, forest setting. A ‘deer-family’ visited us frequently. Ample amenities. We didn’t realize that the ‘unattached-second bedroom/sitting room’ was ours to use until later in the trip because we didn’t realize what the unmarked ‘extra key’ opened. The cabin is small, but for two adults and a dog, it was quaint, cozy, clean, and adequate. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners everyday. The dog and the evening storms kept us in at night. The roads were easy to navigate and we spent a lot of time playing in South Haven, Saugatuck, and Fennville. The lakeshore overlook was a bit scary with a dramatic and steep drop-off so if you had young children or a rambunctious dog (oh wait?! That was ME!), be forewarned. Otherwise, the view was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Staying at the kal-haven outpost cabins was everything I hoped it would be! We came up for my birthday weekend and it was wonderful; everything from the peacefulness of the campsite, to the delicious, free coffee and chats in the morning, to the bikeable trail right next to the campsite into town (we rented bikes from the outpost), dog friendly-cabins/campsite, to helpful staff (thanks Heather and Robert!), clean communal bathrooms and showers, and flexibility with check-in and check-out, I couldn't have asked for a better long weekend. Thanks so much; we'll be back!

We stayed for a long weekend, the cabin was super cute and had everything we needed and more! We spent a good deal of time playing the many games there, especially the street fighter game! We also used the bikes provided and loved exploring the nearby trails. We will plan on coming back when it's a little warmer so we can take advantage of the lake!

Christine’s home was so comfortable and relaxing. We were visiting family nearby and it was so wonderful to come back in the evening and sit on the deck and watch the stars come out while enjoying the outdoor fireplace. It was spotless and exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Phil's! His home was spotless and well-supplied. We came a little before beach-season, just looking for some quiet time and peace and we found it! During our stay, we saw more deer than people.

Liz was an absolute wonderful host! We booked this Airbnb to celebrate our mom’s birthday and mine and my husband’s anniversary and it was PERFECT! We had access to plenty of water toys and kayaks! Every night we sat in the enclosed patio and enjoyed the views. Liz even left us fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers that we used to make a beautiful garden salad! We are vegetarians so it was truly a treat! We would definitely recommend this home to any family and we look forward to renting here again!

Dennis was very communicative and kept in touch throughout my stay. I even had a tornado warning one day and Dennis messaged me within minutes of me receiving the notification to make sure everything was still good. Could not have asked for a better place. It was super close to my aunt and uncle so it was very convenient but for most people they will love how secluded and peaceful it is.

We loved this cabin! Very quiet & peaceful. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were still close to several cute towns. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again!

Julie’s place was a quiet getaway. It was very quiet and close to the water with a public access less than 5 minutes away.

We loved our stay at the red cottage. The porch, fire pit and water access are great perks to this airbnb, as well as being pet friendly. The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Would visit again. 😄

Very secluded and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful inside and out with an amazing view backed up the water. The host is great at communicating, giving clear instructions on checking in and out along with anything else we needed.

We've been coming here for over 17 years. Great little cottage, picturesque setting with solid fishing. On this most recent trip, The Wailers (formed by Bob Marley) were playing at Warner Vineyards and we could hear that sweet reggae music while we BBQ'd and chilled by the campfire.

We had a truly memorable stay at this unique and peaceful home! The architecture and surrounding grounds are full of charm, and it’s clear the hosts have put a lot of heart into creating a special place. Check-in had a small hiccup with the key, but the door was unlocked and we settled in easily. Garrett and Brent were incredible communicators throughout the stay, and that was greatly appreciated. We also appreciated their transparency about the fireplace being unavailable—understandable, though we did miss the cozy ambiance. A windstorm caused a power outage during our visit, and a thoughtful gesture of compensation was offered. The fire pit area is awesome, though we skipped using it due to treated wood. The disc golf course was primo—definitely a highlight of the trip! The new covered structure is a wonderful addition that will enhance future rentals. The guys enjoyed everything, and we’d gladly recommend this home. A peaceful, charming spot with great hosts and room to grow!
