My husband and I spent 5 nights in Jeanette’s home last week, and we already cannot wait to return. The location is unbeatable (truly just steps to the beach—with a private walkway!)—and nothing can beat waking up to the oceanfront view or falling asleep to the sound of the waves. So peaceful. The home was exactly as described in the listing and was very clean. We rented the oceanfront king suite; the shared bathroom, porch, and living spaces were not an issue, and the other guests were lovely. We opted for the breakfast package and cannot recommend it enough! The food was wonderful, and we loved eating breakfast on the beautiful porch. It was a true B&B! Jeanette is a phenomenal host. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. She greeted us with cocktails when we arrived and walked us through the house and amenities (she provides beach chairs and umbrellas which is a huge plus). And Malina was also a highlight of our week! :)

I would give Greg and his place 100 stars if I could! I don’t even know where to start - his home is so incredibly well decorated and he really makes it feel like your own home too. I came down to Wilmington alone for the 70.3 Half Ironman, and it was in a perfect location being so close go downtown. Greg is the most kind hearted person I’ve ever met in my life, I truly felt so blessed to have met him and I feel like I hit the Airbnb jackpot. I was genuinely sad to leave because by the end of my stay, Greg felt like family to me. If you’re deciding on where to stay, don’t hesitate to book this place!

Jeanette is a very warm and kind hostess. She is available if you need something but also leaves you free to explore on your own. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with her and would recommend her to anyone!

This house had everything we needed to enjoy our annual fishing trip in sunset harbor. We love the neighbor hood. Everyone we enconutered was very friendly. The house is very close to the boat ramp and a gas station so we did not have to waste any time and could maximize our fishing experience. The house was very clean and had all of the kitchen hardware needed to cook and make our stay very comfortable and stress free. The house has a fish cleaning station in the back which was a great for our needs. We would love to come back and stay again. The host were very responsive and clear with check in and check out instructions. :)

We had so much fun at this beautiful home with the best host ever and you can tell she is an amazing artist and designer! Fresh coffee with all the extras, muffins and the best pool view with gorgeous trees in the backdrop. The drive to the beach was easy, ice machine at the house was really handy. Southport was fun for nightlife and great food. We will definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of staying with Lorraine in her beautiful home from October 11th to October 17th 2021. Lorraine is a gracious host that makes your stay so pleasurable. It wasn't just a place to lay our heads, it felt like our home away from home. It is close to so many things, and it was only two miles from our Granddaughter's home, who we were visiting. We highly recommend staying there, you will not be disappointed. Beautiful area, beautiful home, and a beautiful person. Thank you so much Lorraine.

This place is a gem 💎 The location was amazing - 2 blocks and you are right on the beach. The home itself was wonderfully decorated and lovely. We had all the basic amenities and the beds slept well. My pups loved the walks to the lake, around the neighborhood, and to the beach. The home was just far enough away to be peaceful but close enough to hear the beach at night. You can walk to bars, restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. Super convenient! It was an amazing few days of relaxing at the beach with my BFF. To add sugar to ice-cream, Michael and Jesslyn were simply amazing and super responsive. 🥰 Couldn't ask for a better stay.

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Billie was very responsive and helpful. Small issue with the trash not being emptied by last guests, but she made sure it was handled immediately. Check in was a breeze and she was so accommodating when I mentioned we would be in the area sooner than the listed check in time. Kitchen had everything we needed. Screened in porch was great. Everything was literally perfect. Thank y’all for being amazing hosts!

Wow! Where do I start…this place is amazing! First off, the pictures on here do not do it justice! I would recommend searching it on google. This b&b is extremely beautiful and right out of a movie! The room and location were perfection. However, what really stood out was the service. You will be greeted by Eppy, who will welcome you and collect any details regarding your arrival! Upon arriving, we met Angie! She is an angel! She makes you feel right at home, so warm and welcoming! The previous review about never being hungry is TRUE!! She makes a killer breakfast!! Not exaggerating whatsoever!! I could honestly keep writing about our incredible experience, fortunately there’s limited characters. If you are looking for a beautiful, magical & wonderful place to stay in Wilmington, do not look any further! You will not find anything that comes close to Angie’s!! Angie & Eppy are so special. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for making our trip so lovely!

If I could give Jeanette 10 stars I would !! My beach house @ Tiki stay was amazing. The house was so quaint, artistic and comfy. Jeanette made me feel right at home. I was welcomed with a delicious cocktail and some cheese and crackers!! The energetic vibe of her home is so welcoming and abundant. Jeanette will leave you a welcome goodie assortment , as well as midnight snacks and a delightful continental breakfast! If you are an avid reader, get ready for an assortment of awesome books to choose from. Do you like art? Get ready to check out her artworks (some pieces are for sale, too!) I am so excited to go back to visit Jeanette, her fur baby, Malina and of course, wonderful Carolina Beach!! I highly recommend this stay.

Joya and her husband were perfect hosts. I have never stayed in a home with the owners present. Every need we had was met! Because we had an 8yo on our trip, she thought ahead and cooked us waffles, bacon, and watermelon! Our bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and stocked with necessities. They're good people. 10/10.

When I arrived at her home Lynn greeted me at the driveway and proceeded to show me my accomodations. As soon as I entered I knew this was a 5 star home. My accomodations were spacious convenient and immaculate. I enjoy peace and quiet and it was so quiet I could not even find a squeaking door. It is close to Oak Island with a beach and a number of restauramts. It is also close to Southport with more restaurants and a quaint town to walk around. The next time I visit St. James, finding an accomodation will be so easy. It will be Lynn's.

Margaritte’s place is even better than pictured. So charming and comfortable! The location is just a few minutes walk from great restaurants and river walk. Margaritte communicated frequently and even left us a homemade treat. Don’t hesitate on this one!

If you are considering staying here, you should definitely give it a try! We have never stayed in an Airbnb like this, but decided to give it a try and we LOVED it! The whole place is so beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly. It was such a cozy vibe, and it was such a unique experience. The hosts were so flexible and agreed to switch weekends, when our original weekend happened to be during a hurricane. I can’t say enough about this place. The only thing I would say is that privacy is limited, since it is a bed and breakfast style, but since we only stayed one night, it didn’t really affect us too much.
