We have just arrived home after Staying in fergals beautiful holiday home 21st/28th Dec The house was spotless clean and there was a Christmas tree and decorations all around, a huge bottle of prosecco and some gorgeous biscuits It's such a warm, comfortable house, very peaceful and in a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful too. There is an amazing kitchen with every utensil you could ever think of, 2 beautiful bathrooms, we could not fault anything. If you have children ( we don't) it's perfect, a very safe secure garden and a room off the kitchen with lots and lots of toys and games, A shop that sells everything is a few minutes walk away. There isn't anything to do in the village, but everything is only 30 minutes or less drive away, and omg, there are some absolutely gorgeous places to visit, we looked through all the information left for guests, used our sat nav and was out all day every day We definitely would love to return!!!

Paul’s place is truly one of a kind! We had the most wonderful stay and cannot wait to return. The lake view is even better than the pictures show and the surroundings are simply stunning. The house itself has everything you need to feel at home and the beds are extremely comfortable. Paul couldn’t have been a better host and replied almost instantly to every message. We genuinely had the best stay. Highly recommend!

A wonderful house to stay in, me and my friends had the best time! The house was immaculate and Alex was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, with lots of useful information cards/books in the house too!

This lodge is fabulous, on the waterfront, with kayaks in a marina development. The interior is beautifully finished and lots of helpful accessories provided saving hassle - bin liners, dishwashwr tablets etc. The bbq and firepit were favourites of mine, made it seem like the great parts of a camping trip, getting away from it all and fun downtime but with 5* accomodation for comfort. A lot of care has gone into the design and presentation of the home including a beautifully planted garden.

This is such a great place I almost don’t want to write such a glowing review as it means we’ll end up with less dates to choose from for our return visit 🤣. Such a beautiful house, the photos don’t do it justice and Kate and Jonathan were wonderful hosts. The beach is right on your doorstep, it was perfect for morning walks with the dog, and lazy afternoons watching the sea merge into the sky from the patio seating.

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had such an amazing stay at this place! Came with a group of friends and all our kids, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfy beds and even toys and games to keep the little ones happy. The outdoor area was a total bonus—great space for the kids to run around while the adults relaxed. The location was ideal too—peaceful but still close enough to park, caffe and pub. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made everything so easy. I’d recommend this spot to anyone—families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.

Great location near the Royal William Yard. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. I recommend the Wildwod for a meal.

The check-in process was effortless, with the key conveniently left on the door—completely hassle-free. Booking the boat with Rob was straightforward, and his clear, brilliant demonstration made it easy for us to operate the boat independently. A big thanks to Jonathon and Rob for making our experience so seamless and enjoyable!

Pat has given us the warmest welcome we have ever got at an airbnb. He is just a terrific host. The cottage is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We loved the fire in the dining room and living room and enjoyed playing boardgames with the fire on, on a rainy day. Pat's dog, Lily and the neighbour dog, Hunter are both a delight. Connemara is a beautiful part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm people. A week is not enough to see everything. We managed to get to the national park, Clifden, Roundstone and its beaches, Lennaun, the Killary fjord and the famine walk, as well as nearby Loch Corrib and the castle. Some of these destinations are about 1 hour away but you drive through beautiful scenery. Galway is only half an hour away and is a buzzing, vibrant city. All in all, we had a great time and would like to come back.

We had a fantastic time at the Wren, beautiful views, my cockerpoo Marley thought he was in heaven, having breakfast on the patio with views over the lake was bliss, lovely walks, would definitely go back next year👍👍👍

Lovely little place for my son and I, great location for Mercedes Benz world and Brooklands Museum. Alison gave very clear instructions on finding the house and left plenty of bits in the fridge for us.

Le chalet de Joan est idéalement situé face au Loch, un vrai petit paradis en plein milieu des Highlands. Une vue sublime, il est très agréable de déguster son thé en s'émerveiller devant de telles beautés naturelles. Joan est très réactive malgré son emploi, elle vous répond toujours très rapidement, elle est également de très bons conseils. Le chalet contient énormément de livres, j'ai adoré les parcourir, de très beaux exemplaires de Grimm ou Dickens. C'est un gîte chaleureux où il fait bon séjourner, le petit poêle pour faire un feu en rentrant de randonnée est super appréciable, merci beaucoup.

My wife and two young daughters and I had a wonderful, peaceful and soul filling long weekend here. Beautiful surroundings, only half an hour from home but felt like a whole different world. Peaceful cozy cabin, perfect for the kids with all the swings, open space to explore and the fenced in garden. We had a wonderful time and came home after an incredible adventure, would highly recommend. Only thing needing a little love is the shower set up. Great for rinsing the kids, took me right back to staying at my Grans place which I loved, but my American wife had never seen anything like it before. Made it even funnier for me to be honest! We loved it, thanks for having us.

Stayed for 3 nights in the cabin. Hosts Rob & Corin were very friendly & helpful. The cabin is in a private garden, which is beautifully maintained, peaceful, with great views. The cabin has everything you need for a fabulous break, lovely log fire & the hot tub makes it extra special, so relaxing just watching the birds on the feeder& listening to the cows & sheep in the local fields. Will definitely return & will recommend to friends.

We had such a lovely time - incredibly peaceful and quiet. Such beautiful surroundings, lots of wide life. Lovely lake to look at and canoe on. The cabin is as described and a great place to stay, all necessary amenities. Nice walks in the area and nice town to visit. Dee met us on check in and out and was very friendly.
