Thank you Sandra for a wonderful stay. We had the most peaceful weekend at your beautiful cottage, what a treat to see the Spring lambs in the field opposite! We loved the hottub and the garden space especially, and the very quick wander to the local village shops and pubs.

Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

We had a wonderful stay at The Granary. The setting is exceptional and you feel like you’re in a historic hamlet in the middle of beautiful, peaceful countryside. The hosts were great, leaving us to our own devices but on hand and responsive if needed. The Granary has been expertly restored as have the other historical buildings on site and the grounds are beautifully presented. We had everything we needed in the property. We would highly recommend booking a stay. Don’t forget your swim wear - the pool and jacuzzi are fantastic!

We had a wonderful week at Easter at Cooden Cottage. Ella was amazing and even helped us find a lost dog! The house is spotless, and beyond our expectations. The flow of the downstairs through to an amazing kitchen, conservatory and completely fenced garden was perfect for us and our two large dogs and we had several family get togethers in the garden, surrounded by greenery. The beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent with plenty is space. We met Ella twice and it is clear that she is passionate about giving her guests a really special experience, from thoughtful touches to all rooms to a lovely welcome pack. While there, she wants her guests to feel that it is space and she completely achieved that. We felt at home and will definitely be back. Thank you!

We stayed for 4 nights in April 2025, 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 13). Fabulous stay, the cottage is lovely and tucked away from the road. The hot tub was a big hit and made the stay that little bit more amazing! Excellent host and a lovely cottage, we will be back.

We had a lovely stay for our mini moon with our dog. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful with everything we needed. The hot tub was on and ready for when we got there and we were even given fresh bread and eggs for breakfast. Even though the owners lived right next door we were left to enjoy our stay with no disruptions. The location was ideal with amazing walks nearby and plenty of pubs within a short distance. We can’t recommend this cottage enough. Thank you so much for having us.

We had such a lovely stay! The house is beautiful as are the surroundings. The log fires hot tub is a fantastic feature! Clare was always super responsive and flexible with our slightly later check out time. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Natalie war die perfekte Gastgeberin. Alle Anfragen wurden sofort beantwortet. Für uns stand Gebäck und für unseren Hund Leckerchen bereit. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein, wir konnten abends noch die Sonne genießen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und wir konnten wunderbar schlafen. Zum Strand mit der schönen Promenade sind wir ca. 30 Minuten gelaufen. Das Cottage ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Es ist ein wundervolles Cottage, wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Clair's cottage was exactly as per the photo's. As we stayed over Easter, it had been beautifully decorated with Easter bunnies. We loved the place. It was one block from the beach, close to town but yet very quiet at night. Luckily the sun was shining on our trip and I had a fantastic short time in the garden enjoying the sunshine. For those coming without a car, you can easily walk from the station and there is a Co-op a few minutes walk away. Clair clearly loves interior design and this much is evident in the cottage. My friend said that it was the first AirBnB she had been to where she immediately felt at home. Everything was spotlessly clean and Clair was very accommodating. I know we will be back at some point. There is a lovely beach sauna a few blocks away that I also recommend to try out.

We’ve had an amazing time at Fiona’s cottage and felt like home during our 4 nights stay. So cosy and had everything we needed from kitchen appliances to a spacious bathroom and comfy bed! Very quirky and full of character and perfectly situated to explore the South Downs. Thanks so much Fiona!

The cottage exceeded our expectations: it's a bright and airy modern living space while warm and cosy with tons of old-world charm. The house is perfectly peaceful and quiet with a nice wee garden situated beside a lovely walking route / bridle path, so we felt nicely secluded from the world (although neighbours were very friendly when we came across them). Our hosts were very helpful and responsive (thanks, Liz!) and the welcome pack was second to none - arriving to find the makings of a cream tea set out on the table was a rare treat. Lewes is a 10-min drive and the cottage was a great base for exploring East Sussex and a little of Kent. We'd highly recommend Church Cottage and hope to stay there again some day.

We had a beautiful stay in Henfield. The cottage is beautiful and has absolutely everything you could want, and is really comfortable throughout. We brought a small dog who was made to feel completely at home as well, Anya had left a bed, toys, treats and bowls and the pooch had the time of her life exploring the garden. Anya went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even tested a walk for us ahead of time to check it wasn’t overgrown. Thanks to these instructions we ended up spending the loveliest day in Albourne estate tasting local wines. There are several shops and pubs in easy walking distance. We’d wholeheartedly recommend x

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage from December 29th to January 1st, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The cottage was well-maintained, super cosy, and felt like a perfect little escape. Here are some of the highlights: Location The cottage is right on the edge of the South Downs, and waking up to those fantastic views every morning was such a treat. It’s also conveniently close to Newhaven for shopping, with reliable and frequent public transport options. We rented a car for part of our stay, and while parking near the cottage can be a bit tight for larger vehicles (as the listing clearly mentions), it wasn’t a major issue for us. One of the things we loved most was the tranquillity—you could hear nothing at night, which was such a refreshing change. If you’re visiting in winter, don’t forget your boots for those beautiful South Downs walks! The Property The cottage was in great condition and very well-equipped—it had everything we needed and then some. Since we visit

4 night stay at Joys place and loved every minute. Lambs in the rear field, great gardens, log burner and pub 100 meters away !!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Our third stay and just as wonderful as those prior! An idyllic property and area. Always pristine with a wonderfully large/pretty/safe garden for our two dogs. The area is beautifully peaceful and has some fabulous local walks, and it’s well placed for travelling to various nearby towns and beaches. A perfect trip for a change of scenery and some much needed downtime. Looking forward to our fourth trip later in the year!

Fabulous house, excellent communication. It can be noisy but nothing that the ear plugs kindly provided didn’t solve, would recommend!

Comfy & neat little mews house in a handy location. House backs onto a pub garden which gets busy on a sunny afternoon / evening but pub owners have a 10pm curfew on the garden so not a major issue. Comfy beds, decent shower, fluffy towels & whole place was spotlessly clean, would def book again!

A wonderful, wonderful place!! Not extremely crowded over the Easter break. Excellent butcher we were able to walk to., and a very friendly person. Close to the beach!

This is an absolutely stunning Airbnb and I’d recommend it to anyone! Beautiful location and was ideal for our trip as the station is a 2 minute walk down the road which is a short train ride away to central Brighton. Plenty of rooms for a big group to stay. For us it was idea for runners and supporters for the Brighton marathon to stay as we all got to be together before the race. The place is so quirky and unique we all loved it! Host was fab. Very smooth easy check in and was flexible with our arrival time and check out. Very responsive and kind too.

The property was absolutely lovely and cosy - perfect for a relaxing getaway. The surrounding area offered fantastic walks, and the nearby pub serves amazing roasts. The owner communicated really well and responded quickly. Highly recommend!

Very nice and well located apartment. The apartment is located right by the beach whilst also giving you a bit of privacy and not too much noise from the surrounding area. You have some shops and several cafes within a 10 min walk which is great to get your essentials and a good weekend breakfast during your morning stroll! The apartment was very clean and tidy. The sofa was different to the one pictured (not a bad thing just an observation) and was really comfy with the bedding and extra towels in the ottoman compartment. The bathroom was really nice with several products to use and the shower was lovely and hot with several setting to choose from whilst remaining simple to use. Overall a great stay and location!! Would definitely stay again!

We have just returned from a 5 night family break in Brighton/Hove and we had such a wonderful Stay at Liz’s house. The house was spotlessly clean and plenty of space for 10 of us including a few children. The hot tub and trampoline were a great addition to the house and kept the little ones entertained. The location was perfect for us as we love Hove and it was only a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants and also a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here and we can’t wait to go back again soon! X
