Within walking distance of Ballycross Apple Farm where you can enjoy farm walks and the farm produce shop. Open weekends from March to December. The house is located 7 KM from Kilmore Quay. A beautiful traditional Irish fishing village on the coast of County Wexford in the South East of Ireland. This is an un-spoilt village, with thatched cottages dotted throughout, and breath taking coastal walks, and the fabulous Saltee Islands off the coast which hosts one of the largest bird sanctuaries in Europe. Kilmore Quay can deliver a host of activities to accommodate your visit from Crafts, Chartered Boats, Diving, Sailing, Shore Angling and an array of Wildlife attractions. Car needed to get around.

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.
