We had a really great stay at Jolyon's place. It was really spacious and comfortable, definitely plenty of room for all of us and a lovely outdoor area too. Walking distance to shops and coastal path as well as Fernkloof reserve, and lots of space for parking. Really good price too, would definitely return!

Peaceful with awesome views. We had a busy weekend but relaxing on the Monday was great. Well laid out for communal entertaining as well as privacy if you want to sit and read on the veranda with a view of the dam and mountains.

We spent a family Easter weekend at Nicki's house. It has great open plan living; a well-appointed kitchen; lovely bedding; clean bathrooms with plenty of spare towels; and a secluded braai area. The location is excellent.

Absolutely gorgeous place. It’s like living in an art gallery. The bedrooms are better than even the best hotel rooms - we don’t even know how the duvets are that fluffy. Penny was so great with early and late checkouts and the on site manager was amazing - sorting out any property niggles immediately. From a design perspective, it’s a bit odd that there’s little to “do” on the side with the views. There’s a patio with some outside furniture but there’s no shade in the afternoon and it could really benefit from something - a hot tub, or a splash pool to keep you enjoying the view while doing holiday things. Also, with it being a new build and considering the cost, I would expect the solar to cover more during load shedding than just essential lighting. Using it to heat the pool would make the pool far more usable. It’s the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in but on the whole I think it’s too expensive for a 3 bedroom, and a bit light on things like glassware.

One of the best places ive booked my life thus far each and every family member enjoyed their stay at Lagoon Edge. Definitely going back there.

This is a lovely cheerful, family-friendly house with plenty of space inside and out. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are plenty of things like beach towels, extra blankets and drinking glasses. Bring your own braai wood and firelighters. Checking in was easy and friendly. It's a little further than 10 mins walk from the beach, but the view of the mountain made up for it. Great stay.

Nicki is an amazing host. She was very accommodating to our needs and very understanding when we requested a bigger unit with 2 bedrooms the last minute. Her Airbnb was the best out of all the places we stayed during our visit to South Africa. It was spotless, very clean, modern, well decorated and in beautiful surrounds. The location is perfect as it is right next door to Bon Cap wedding guest venue where we were attending a wedding. Thank you so much Nicki.

A lovely spacious house with inside and outside. It’s located in a quiet and safe residential area. Stunning views over Hermanus. A short drive to the waterfront for shops museums, restaurants and the coastal paths. Would happily stay there again.
