We (as a large family group of 10) all thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in Sue’s very special family holiday home. Large and spacious, with its fantastic location (at the base of the mountain/five minutes drive to popular beaches/the famous cliff walk as well as many great restaurants and shops that are only a short drive away), to the exquisite sea and mountain view’s from multiple large windows and balconies, to the beautiful decor (incl very comfy beds, quality linen and great shower heads), the open plan and well equipped kitchen and multiple eating and lounging areas as well as the fabulous outdoor veranda area with a wonderful splash pool, Weber braai and pizza oven…. This listing truly has it ALL! (including a newly renovated kids bedroom with two bunk beds as well). Tammy was a fantastic host (very responsive and helpful) and we would definitely return in a heartbeat. Thank you for creating and sharing this special listing with us all.

Really awesome stay in this lovely family-friendly house. Awesome braai area and beautiful balcony views, and enough space that the kids and parents could enjoy themselves. Will definitely visit again!

The position is beautiful with views in all directions from the third floor and one can hear the sea at night when drifting off to sleep. The living areas and kitchen have every amenity one needs to feel comfortable and and to have a special stay. The house is walking distance from beach, extremely spacious and well appointed. We all had a lovely break. Thank you Jutta for your efforts.

Peaceful with awesome views. We had a busy weekend but relaxing on the Monday was great. Well laid out for communal entertaining as well as privacy if you want to sit and read on the veranda with a view of the dam and mountains.

The houses were great. Well stocked kitchens made cooking easy. The braai area was perfect for pulling together the residents of the four house units. There is also a table under a tree for you to spread out easily in. There isn't a pool which meant for some hot days in the sun but we were pointed to a nearby dam where we could swim. Quick walk down to the main road, which was great for small stores, bars and restaurants. Host was very communicative over the app and on mobile platform.

It is a fantastic location and the views of lake and mountain are lovely. The host is really responsive and easy to deal with. This is a great house for groups of friends and family wanting to get away. Lots of space and hideaways for larger groups.

We had a wonderful time at Ciscas. The house had everything we needed and more. The pizza oven provided much enjoyed fun, the rooms were neat and well designed and it was great that everyone had on suit bathrooms. The beach is just a walk away but the house provides enough entertaining space to stay in. All in all wonderful stay, id do it again:)

We just spent 10 days at Coastal Mellows and could not recommend it more. The house is a few minutes walk from Central Hermanus which we loved. The house is beautiful, spacious with everything that you could need. We would love to return next time we are in the area

Beautiful modern home within walking distance to beach. Decor is warm and relaxed. Great kitchen and living area, spaces to just chill. Housekeeper, Edward,was amazing at looking after us.Had a wonderful week with the family.

The view alone makes booking this airbnb worthwhile! Mandy is a wonderful host and is quick to respond to our questions. The house is very comfortable for large groups and the open plan living area/kitchen is great. There are special loadshedding lamps, a gas stove and a generator which makes living with power outages bearable. What a relaxing week!

This is an amazing house for multiple families going on holiday together. The pool and various living areas are ideal and it never feels crowded. The house is centrally located and walking distance to great beaches. This has been one of the best beach houses we have visited.

Our family of 5 spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house over new years. The house is in a great position in Voelklip - it is very secure and well kitted out. Lovely to sit outside in the shaded garden in the evenings and kids loved the pool. Great hosts and easy check-in and check-out. We will be back!

The home is a rare gem giving a glimpse of life of the well to do families in a bygone era. We felt very privileged being able to spend a wonderful weekend with loved ones in such a special home. Thank you!!

Epic stay at a beautiful place. Good comms with India in the run up and Anton helpful during our stay. He also cooked us a beautiful roast lamb dinner which we highly recommend. 5 stars all round. The house is perfectly situated, yes it is a bit tired in places but it only adds to the charm. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms in good condition and the garden an absolute gem. Was always at hand for any questions we had, gave us restaurant recommendations and always kept in touch with us. 269 On Main is perfectly positioned for visiting Hermanus and surroundings. We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Megan and Mike were incredibly welcoming. The house was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living and dining areas were perfect for our party of ten. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic hosts.

Such a beautiful place. An awesome setting. The property is very well maintained. All necessary equipment or requirements fully met. Had a close encounter with a snake, which is not unexpected in the mountains. Flies a little troublesome. Again, not unexpected. Lovely pool. Would love to return in winter. Big fireplace. Would be an excellent place to write a book.
