Great location relative to beach, nature, peacefulness. Western end of Galveston is beautiful. Condo itself was pleasant -- especially the balcony overlooking the ocean. Front room was cozy and kitchen had everything needed. The actual condo cul de sac was sort of an empty-feeling space, but that is compensated for by access to beach club quarter of a mile down the road and, of course, the private stretch of oceanfront there as well. Access to beach is walkable, though only by highway, so you should drive. Interior was clean -- overall, a lovely stay. I took personal retreat here for four days and was thankful for the peace and quiet, but probably best used for a family/group vacation for close friends.

We stayed at Tammy's place with our 2 grandsons. It is a lovely place. The house was spotless and in a great location. Our grandsons spent so much time on the beach which is just steps away from the house. My husband and I could sit on the covered porch and watch them dig for hours. Of course, we were right there with them when they wanted to go boogie boarding (3 boards available at the house). The house was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots. Tammy gave us recommendations on where to grocery shop and even a nice restaurant down the road. If I had a question, she was very responsive and answered quickly. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We certainly hope to be able to visit again. Thank you!

IT WAS A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL PLACE VERY FAMILY ORIENTED HAD A GREAT TIME…

We recently stayed at Pharoah’s Palace and had such a wonderful time! We love Galveston and, specifically, Point West. We are a big family with four kids aged 7-14. The condo is fabulous, and the location of this unit was gorgeous. It is well equipped, on the top floor, has the largest layout available, and is very comfortable. Our communication with the owners was excellent. The place has everything you need. It has four beds, cable television, DVD, internet, an elevator for strollers, electronic reclining chairs, an open kitchen/dining/living room, and two balconies. Pictures do not do it justice. The patio is fantastic, with an amazing view of the ocean. The location is fantastic. Everything is close to the condo, making walking to the private beach, private pool, game room, or on-site restaurant easy. There is a second private pool you can drive to, which is so worth it. The other private pool has a lot of vegetation, waterfalls, and a small lazy river. We had a great vacay!

The property is beautiful… there is a view from every window and balcony. You can see the ocean and the bay… unique for Galveston Island. There is a pond directly outside and with the fountain, which kept mosquitos away. The kitchen is good for entertaining a family, and there is a formal and outdoor dining area. I would suggest bringing a bed pillow, high quality pan, and extra roll of paper towels. Alex was nice and responsive. The resort is family oriented and the quiet was well worth the 20 minute drive. We will stay with this host again!

Great place by the water! The airbnb was clean, response from the host was fast, the only thing I would change is the mosquitoes! Other than that it was a nice place to stay and would stay again!

Kathy's Kottage is a wonderful place to stay! There was plenty of space there to enjoy our week at the beach. We loved being within walking distance of a beach access point. And of course, Pointe West's clubhouse and two pools add to the fun!

This is a beautiful home, ery stylish and spacious with great amenities. It is also very clean and is very well equipped in every way. Is is spacious and was very comfortable for all of us! Communication was also excellent and we always received very fast responses. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely love to go back!

This was the perfect get-a-way home for our family. Palm Haven was clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of games available for the kids. We mostly enjoyed fishing, crabbing and time at the beach. We all were able to get into the kitchen and help with the cooking. We enjoyed card games in the evenings and even watched a little television. Our hosts lived next door and were very friendly. They were quick to answer any questions and provide anything we needed. We all felt right at home and would definitely stay again. A special thanks to Debbie and Andrew our Airbnb hosts!

Awesome stay, we caught a million crabs of the porch and boiled th em up. The public kayak launch is connected to property, so we rented a couple and fished the bay, no shortage of fun. The beach is just a couple of minutes' walk, but we got a golf cart, which ended being really worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

El lugar esta maravilloso, realmente todo esta super cerca, no tuvimos ningún inconveniente con nada, al contrario supero todas nuestras expectativas, es un lugar grandioso. A mi hija le encanto la estancia, disfruto demasiado jugar con los niños, hasta recibió un regalo por época de pascua, se puso muy triste cuando regresamos a casa, quería quedarse a jugar mas tiempo con los niños:( Estamos muy agradecidos y felices por el trato que nos dieron, realmente te hacen sentir como en casa, sin duda regresaremos de nuevo <3

This place is a five star home! The lake view is beautiful, the rooms are large and very clean. The price is super reasonable. Host replies very fast. Will definitely come back again!

This place was just what we wanted. Right across the street from the beach and nice and cozy on the inside. Brandon and Susan were quick responders and were greatly appreciated! Would definitely come back.

You will not be disappointed with the bed in the master. Best sleep in an airbnb & that is so hard to find! Beautiful home, great location, plenty of room for 5 adults & our furrbabies were also very welcomed! We can't wait to stay again for island time!

This house is probably the best location for it’s walkability to the coolest strip of beach in Surfside. The place was clean and creatively decorated—looks like newly renovated floors and countertops with custom art on the walls. Very chill, surfer vibe with a nice dark second bedroom for my wife to sleep in. Wi-Fi was strong enough for uninterrupted video calls and roku. Plus there’s some good eating nearby—fancy and dirty Cajun alike.

Great beach location with gulf and bay views & access. House is clean and beachy. No internet as speeds tested all week were 0.5mbs to 0.7mbs which is essentially unusable and would make devices inoperable for network uses such as email or even texts let alone kids iPads to watch shows or movies. Arcade in ads does not turn on. Basketball hoop in pics does not exist. Needs better list of items available and description of non working amenities such as WiFi/internet, ice machine, basketball hoop and arcade. Features that made us choose this house over another were inoperable or removed in the past. Location is great for peaceful and roomy beach and access to two pools at the beach clubs. Easy drive into Galveston about 25 minutes along the coast of the island.

I really enjoyed staying Sam's place. Sam always responded quickly, and also proactively checked on me. they added more bathroom compared to last year! I loved it! so I can stay with my friends without any complaints of privacy lol. Squeaky beds were entertaining at night. overall, I would like to stay again!!!!! Thank you, Sam!

The blue dolphin was very beautiful inside and out. Beach and pool not far from the house. The pictures did make it seem bigger then what it was but it was still a lot of room for my family. I would definitely rent this place out one more time

there were issues but the responses were so fast and issues were fixed within hours. and they made it right. i would stay again.
