We really enjoyed our time!

Host was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions I had before, during, and after the booking. The location was beautiful and worth the price. Only downside was the $500 deposit you have to pay even AFTER you complete the booking process(refundable after the trip if you don’t damage anything but isn’t that what all the BnB fees are for?) and the LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG 24question application they had me fill out. Complete name and age of every person, dog name and car make, model,license plate(even though you can only park one car on the property 🤨). Made me feel like I was getting a background check just for a BnB booking. If you book here, you won’t regret it, it’s beautiful and worth it. But if I were to do it again I would book elsewhere, where I don’t have to pay $25 per person to use the pool that’s for the complex I’m renting it out on. Ludicrous

I am quite pleased with the establishment and would certainly consider staying there again in the future.

Great location!! Close to places to walk too on the beach. WiFi worked perfectly and there was just enough of everything for the weekend. Can’t wait to go back!

The condo was gorgeous! Beds were super comfortable. Deck furniture was in great shape.

We have stayed at Pointe West many times over the years and Joan’s place stands out! It was clean and comfortable and well kept. We loved being able to have our family dog with us and while it is a pet friendly place it was perfectly clean. Thanks!

979 was extremely easy to work with and made our stay great. They answered any questions I had via text within minutes. The apartment was very clean and matched the pictures and description. Definitely recommend.

Great beach condo. Easy access to private beaches and 2 pools. Great peaceful views from balcony. Felt right at home.

This condo was great for my family with 3 young kids who loved the heated lazy river and pool with shallow areas for them to play. These were right at the condo, whereas the restaurant and infinity pool are down the road. You have to purchase wristbands to use the pool for anyone 4 years and older. There were beach towels and sand toys for the kids which was great. We loved how quiet it was away from the main town but it was at least 30 minutes to most main areas of Galveston which we didn’t mind. We would definitely come back again!

We loved James’ place! We took a family trip and it was perfect for our entire family. Great location close to the beach, great amenities, spacious house, and very clean as well. We will be back!

Loved our stay at Buddy’s Beach Getaway! Gayle was a really accommodating host - she provided lots of information and recommendations about activities and restaurants. She called to make sure we were checked in and settled. She even left flowers, wine and a birthday card to welcome us for my birthday beach weekend! A lovely host! We would stay again! The condo is beautiful and elegant and has every convenience one would need. The bed is wonderful. I wish I could take it home with me. All the furniture is great. The view is beautiful and the location is great. We like being on the bay side. It was windy while we were there but the balcony on the bay side was sheltered from the mostly south wind.

Great location relative to beach, nature, peacefulness. Western end of Galveston is beautiful. Condo itself was pleasant -- especially the balcony overlooking the ocean. Front room was cozy and kitchen had everything needed. The actual condo cul de sac was sort of an empty-feeling space, but that is compensated for by access to beach club quarter of a mile down the road and, of course, the private stretch of oceanfront there as well. Access to beach is walkable, though only by highway, so you should drive. Interior was clean -- overall, a lovely stay. I took personal retreat here for four days and was thankful for the peace and quiet, but probably best used for a family/group vacation for close friends.

IT WAS A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL PLACE VERY FAMILY ORIENTED HAD A GREAT TIME…

We recently stayed at Pharoah’s Palace and had such a wonderful time! We love Galveston and, specifically, Point West. We are a big family with four kids aged 7-14. The condo is fabulous, and the location of this unit was gorgeous. It is well equipped, on the top floor, has the largest layout available, and is very comfortable. Our communication with the owners was excellent. The place has everything you need. It has four beds, cable television, DVD, internet, an elevator for strollers, electronic reclining chairs, an open kitchen/dining/living room, and two balconies. Pictures do not do it justice. The patio is fantastic, with an amazing view of the ocean. The location is fantastic. Everything is close to the condo, making walking to the private beach, private pool, game room, or on-site restaurant easy. There is a second private pool you can drive to, which is so worth it. The other private pool has a lot of vegetation, waterfalls, and a small lazy river. We had a great vacay!

We have a family tradition to stay at Pointe West every Easter and this home suits our needs perfectly. Second time here because the host Monica is amazing and so helpful/flexible. We honestly have no complaints!! It is a beautiful view from the Condo and easy to walk out to the beach and the pool area. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay! The only problem I encountered was I received the wrong information about the price of the beach club wristbands. I received several emails prior to my arrival stating the wristbands were $15 per person but they are actually $25. When I questioned the price I was told the price increased over a year ago.

Mi esposo y yo estuvimos dos en este lugar. Disfrutamos de la piscina, del sendero junto al lago y todo el equipamiento que tiene el apartamiento. Rachel desde antes de nuestra llegada hasta nuestra salido estuvo atenta a todo. Vale la pena quedarse en este alojamiento. Lo recomendamos.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for us Central Texans who crave waves! Okay, it's the bay but still. We had to go that way for a robotics competition and decided to Airbnb it (vs hotel) for the experience and it was well worth it. Emily's place is right on a little marina with views on every floor plus it's super cute, clean and comfortable. Great kitchen, decks/balconies, bathrooms, beds, decor. . .everything + great restaurants and the Kemah Boardwalk are just minutes away. We will be back - with friends! Just an awesome place making for a great memory. :)
