We enjoyed our girls weekend immensely!! Everything was just as described. The house was very clean and perfect size for 5 of us. The views are absolutely amazing. We saw so many deer and got to watch the baby calf’s play each morning. Ward was very easy to get a hold of when we had questions before and during our stay. We used the hot tub our first night. There is a QR code in the instruction binder that takes you to a video that clearly shows how to work the hot tub. Everything was super smooth from check in until we left. We had a great stay and will definitely return.

We loved our visit! The space is large, plenty of rooms, plenty of beds, and he double kitchen was helpful for a larger group. The location was beautiful, private, quiet, and peaceful. Really liked the huge back porch area, hot tub, and pool.

We got this for a little weekend away. We had a great time swimming, kayaking, fishing, making s’mores over the fire pit, and just spending time together. It was a beautiful house on beautiful property. It was absolutely worth it.

This was our second stay at Scott's place & it was just as pleasant as before. It's so peaceful and quiet here, and the backyard and patio is the perfect space to unwind following a local project we were involved with. The home is comfortable, and we had everything we needed at hand. Our dogs love playing, running and roaming around the huge yard - which is fenced well - and enjoy staring across the road at the turkeys on that neighbor's property. They still seem bewildered by those funny looking creatures. :) So grateful for another great stay and we look forward to our next opportunity.

Everything was pretty accurate as described in the listing. My family really enjoyed the peaceful countryside and views. The water pressure in the house was very weak other than that it was very nice. Don’t wash your car/truck before coming here the roads are very dusty and your vehicle will be covered in dust when you leave. Our overall experience was great though the lake is less than 10 minutes away with lots of outdoor activities!

Words can’t describe how amazing this place is. Every single corner has something special to it, from the lighting to the walls. They took the time putting it together. Walking in was love at first sight, can’t describe it. Is better in person! The outdoors you get to see deers from the back porch! Love this place will be back soon!

Although it is very close to the highway, the road noise dies down around 9pm. It was very comfortable and clean and Joni is very helpful! Definitely a cute and comfy place to stay especially if you’re wanting a short drive to all the local tourist spots around Glen Rose!

Nice. House fields like home

We had a great experience at Dwayne's place! This is the third time we've stayed and each time has been of the same high quality standard. The home is very easy to access with the host providing clear instructions for entry and use during our stay. It is located on a very pretty property. The home itself is new and clean, including comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We are always appreciative of the thoughtful welcome package. Highly recommend this when you are visiting the Glen Rose/Hico/Stephenville areas.

We dubbed this the yellow house in 6! Beautifully kept home furnished with antiques you want to spend the morning enjoying your coffee and browsing! Home is beautiful, easy to access and very well equipped. The extras Grace provided during our stay were unexpected and we felt right at home! Highly recommend!!! Roger and Candice were very flexible with us and they were very nice to work with! We thoroughly enjoyed the time and we felt very at home! The kids said it was the most cozy air bnb we had ever stayed at.

Jackie's Jewel was an ideal 4BR, 2.5 BA house for our family and dog to spend Thanksgiving holidays. There was plenty of room for us to cook with a well stocked kitchen, watch football and movies in the 2 family rooms and eat, do puzzles and games in the dining room. We loved the outdoor patio, large fenced in yards and the short walk to the lake. We also enjoyed Wed night fajita special at Tres Hermananos Mexican Restaurant, shopping in downtown Whitney and golfing nearby. We appreciate Jackie's hospitality and recommend this Airbnb to families that want a homey atmosphere.

The stay was nice. Thought it was on the side of the road by the lake but that was my fault for not studying it hard enough. Kelli was very friendly and went out of there way to bring us a grill because the one that was supposed to be there was missing.

This place was perfect for our Family Thanksgiving gathering. While I wish there would have been more seating (larger dining table) it still accommodated our crew. It has one bathroom but was plenty spacious. The kids play area was perfect for us to be able to spread out as well.

For me, Kat's place was perfect. I love old houses (having one myself) I felt quite at home. The location was perfect and was near everything I needed. It is a block away from the downtown shopping and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. When I am back in Clifton, I will rent again. Thank you Kat for your hospitality!

Very enjoyable stay, clean and quaint cabin, nice private surroundings, cool trail to lake. Bethany was extremely friendly and helpful. Great experience overall.
