Nyree and Jonathan are the kindest hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. They are both so thoughtful and friendly and have both a beautiful home but also some beautiful fur babies. I would recommend anyone to stay :)

The place was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable and it is in a perfect location, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The host Euan had excellent communication and was on hand if needed. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of cleaning facilities. A vacuum cleaner would have been handy as when travelling with dogs and being so close to the beach I like to clean up after myself. However, this didn't affect our stay and I would 100% recommend and stay again.

such a quiet but ultra convenient location for walking into the town or station. Claire is very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about her home town. I would be very happy to stop here again

We didnt have tickets for eurovision, which was on the weekend we arrived, at a time when the pricing could have been very inflated, it was perfectly priced for a normal time of year to house 5 people! This is an honourable host first of all that clearly looks after their guests more than themselves. As for the house my goodness the room we had was bigger than it looked in the pictures and just as luxurious. There is a train literally a stones throw from the house to take you to city centre yet you never hear it! This is the perfect spot outside of the noise to settle in after the vibrance of visiting irelands 33rd county. The house was exceptional. As for the host elaine, loads of communication, left us a good bit of food to get us started, was super flexible on when to check in and out. We had an absolute ball staying here and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you elaine.. you made our liverpool experience something else!!!!

Nyree and Jonathan are very friendly and positive people. The host was genuinely interested in how I was doing and whether I needed anything. The room was very clean, the area was very quiet, and it’s just a 5-minute walk to the town center where there are shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Came up from Somerset to watch the rugby with my brother. Had a really nice stay and would highly recommend it.

Excellent location right by the castle. Very quiet when we were there in the evening/overnight. High standard accomodation. Easy parking. Excellent communication with Brian at all times. Would highly recommend.

Glen’s place is very cosy, clean, responsive host and even provided my daughter a reference for her permanent place as glen’s place is not available and long term - this is an extra gesture -we r grateful - thank u glen very near to train station and busses will start again glen’ put his heart to his job keep it up and i an grateful xxx

I spent two great months into the house of Fiona & Stan. I can only advise you to choose this renting ! I had the luck to have a friendly and warmly welcoming, the home was clean and beautiful, the house is really well equiped and the place is great. The only thing is that there are not many things to do in Buckshaw when you stay a long time like me but the house is really close than the train station with a really easy access. Access to many facilities really near (Tesco, Domino's, Subway, ...). For me, I will not hesitate to come back with my family to show the place and obviously, I will come here ! I had a great stay at this boarding house. Charlie the housekeeper is a really kind man, helped with anything around the house. I was working a lot out of the house so didnt get to socialise as much, but there was always something going on; if you’re a solo traveller and looking to make friends this is definitely the place for you. I did find that it got quite noisy at night sometimes (maybe it was a particular set of guests that were staying at the same time as me - someone did get asked to leave because of their noise levels at night - thank you Charlie and Duncan for that 👍🏼) There isnt any soundproofing and there are big gaps in door frames which means sound does get into the rooms very easily at night. But other than that, i have no complaints. The kitchen was clean, easy to cook in. Toilets and bathrooms were clean. Bedrooms are small, but cosy and I found it to be quite warm which is always nice in December in windy Blackpool!

we had the most amazing time! the house was so beautiful we didnt want to leave, we loved using the hot tub and sauna.Absolutely the most friendly people, so helpful and lovely. We will definately book here again without a doubt! Thank you for having us all x

Ideal place for us for a day out at Morecambe golf club. Place was exactly as described, perfect for our needs, with clear instructions and expectations. Very helpful host with recommendations on where to eat as well.

Loved our stay, we had been in hospital with our little one so was nice to get in to a clean cosy home. Great location and lovely garden which was a shame we couldn’t use it as we were out early in the morning but was perfect for the 4 of us

Accomadation was as described and well located for all the local attractions, I would definatly use again,. "excelent " Anyone visiting there is a carpark on Bath Road (approx 500 metres ) away for £3 allday parking Steve

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Laura Jane's place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless — it was easy to find, with convenient parking right outside. The location is unbeatable; just cross the road, and you’re on the beach! Waking up to the stunning seafront views while enjoying breakfast felt like pure heaven, and winding down each evening with a glass of wine as the sun set over the ocean was magical. The beds were super comfortable with crisp, clean linens, and the showers were powerful and refreshing — exactly what you need after a day by the sea. The garden area was thoughtfully equipped and kept us entertained for hours each night. The hot tub was spotless, perfectly heated, and such a treat. I’ll definitely be recommending this gem to friends and can’t wait to return for another stay myself!

Alison was a superb host, always ready to assist, friendly and attentive. If you love cats, this place is ideal and Alison has taught them tricks which are highly entertaining. I’d have no hesitation recommending Alison’s place.

Loved Karen’s house perfect for our early Christmas family break felt at home in this lovely home it was cold but we ventured into the hot tub had a great weekend thanks Karen
