We had a wonderful stay at Jack's Cottage. Matt was a great host who was good at communicating and attentive to us. We felt he genuinely cared about us as guests. The cottage was stunning with a beautiful garden. It was spotless inside and you could tell time had been taken to clean it. The cottage was full of character and nice furnishings. The log burner was lovely and the living room sofa comfortable. The hot tub was a highlight for us and was in a private place and clean. We went to Il Lipo's for an Italian and Charlie's for breakfast, both in Baslow which was a 5 minute drive away. We walked up and around Curbar edge which we would definitely recommend, and make sure you stop at Jolly's coffee van for a fantastic home made sausage roll. We'd definitely recommend this stay to anyone who wants a relaxing time away.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosewall Cottage. It was extremely peaceful and the cottage cozy and comfortable with everything we could have needed. We loved seeing the chickens in the garden and listening to their funny little noises! Lia was very responsive and sent a brilliant mini video showing the street view of the property, making the cottage super easy to find. A fantastic place to stay for my uncles 80th birthday surprise. Thank you Lia, you are a great host.

If you're considering this, just book it! Great place, warm and clean with everything you could need. We felt very welcome, beautiful farm with animals and an orchard. Setting is great, 25 mins to Sheffield but 30 seconds to incredible countryside. If you want a relaxed place to explore the peaks, this ticks all the boxes. Already thinking about returning.

Thank you for letting us stay. The house was lovely and the surrounding area was great! The hot tub added a really nice touch to the evening, and the recommendation for breakfast at Arthur’s made our last day even better.

a fantastic little place with plenty to do in the village or neighbouring towns, lots of lovely little touches made it feel really well thought through and not a "standard air BnB" at all - fresh coffee, different teas, dressing gowns, welcome drinks, and plenty of logs for the log fired hot tub which we took advantage of every night of our stay. Also one of the increasingly rare places with a host confident enough not to leave lots of "please do this don't do this" type notes which helped us feel like we were at home really quickly.

Gemma was a wonderful host. Her communication was excellent and she was readily available in case of any issues. We would definitely recommend both her and her property and will be happy to visit again at a future date.

SnapTin is the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. The house itself has been lovingly restored and thoughtfully made into the most glorious holiday home with stylish furnishings and art work. Helen is a wonderful and generous host being communicative and also providing extremely thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the breakfast basket, the fizz and the little treats which made us feel welcome straight away. The situation of the house is almost at the end of a terrace right near a woodland so you can sit outside and really feel that you are in the countryside even though you are 5 mins walk from the centre of Bakewell. There are plenty of fabulous walks from the cottage with an abundance of guide books to choose from in the cottage. There is a designated car parking space which is easy to navigate and just a short walk from the door. We truly felt sad on leaving.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Allie’s cosy cottage in such a beautiful spot in the peaks! The property was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The view from the kitchen was stunning... and a real bonus was getting to say hi to the lambs on the farm, which made the experience even more special. It is the perfect base for some beautiful hikes in the Peak District, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a countryside escape. Thank you, Allie! - Jeremy and Amelia

Chimney Cottage was everything we expected and more. A gorgeous cottage in a quiet village with fabulous walks and scenery. The cottage was clean, cosy and very homely. We loved the log fire in the evening and the shower was fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely 4 nights stay at the cottage with our two dogs. The cottage was clean and we had everything we would need for our stay, including wood for the log burner. The enclosed garden was a nice place to sit and enjoy wonderful views and to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Castleton is only a 15min walk along a footpath from the rear of the cottage and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended 👌

Beautifully renovated with great detail to warmth and comfort. Fantastic location if you just want to plant yourself and not get in the car again. Endless walks out from the front door. Drop dead gorgeous location high on the hillside at the end of a track.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Beautiful cottage. Perfectly laid out - lovely garden. Great space. The kids (5 &9) loved the garden and having the playground next door. Tideswell is a great spot too. The local recommendations were brilliant. The staff and landlord at the Star Inn were welcoming and very friendly. Great trip.

I had an amazing time staying here! Susan was a fantastic host—so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She gave us a lovely tour of the place and made everything so easy with her clear directions. It was super simple to get there. One of the highlights was how thoughtful she was—she even gave my son some books to read, which he absolutely loved. I mentioned we were planning a picnic with family, and she kindly provided a picnic blanket for us! The area itself is beautiful—private, quiet, and peaceful. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London, and we were finally able to get some proper rest. I couldn’t recommend this place more. We really enjoyed our trip to Youlgreave and would definitely look to return :) We found the location peaceful with some lovely walks nearby and it was an excellent base for exploring further areas of the Peak District. The house was well equipped with everything we could have needed and Jen and Simon were really responsive to any queries we had. We had some lovely weather and a fabulous trip, thank you for having us!

Myself, wife and our little dog Jack had a great relaxing Easter weekend break. Andy was very accommodating, quick to respond and the Nest was just what we expected.
