沿着金色的荒野一路开车，进入Hurandalur农舍的时候，感觉时光倒流，充满了故事感：《秋日传奇》《走出非洲》《廊桥遗梦》……所有光影都是最浪漫而又带一些伤感的电影中最应该有的样子。 这些电影中还应该有一个特别手巧能干的男主人公——农舍主人自己制作的手工家具和丹麦设计大师的古董家具和谐地摆放在一起，每个窗户都是尺寸角度不同的四季画框。 这个离雷克雅未克40分钟车程的现代农舍，看起来承载了那么多故事，其实2024年刚刚建好。夏天的时候我们就想预定，可是没有订到。农舍私家占地700公顷，也就是折合一万亩地，或者7平方公里（700万平方米），真的一眼望不到边！从灰色木栅栏开进来还要很久，旁边有一道小溪蜿蜒流过。 农舍是房子的主人Halldor为妻子和两个孩子度假修建的。里面充满了主人对家人和生活的热爱： 玻璃上贴着很多手作的植物标本，Halldor说是为了防止鸟儿撞到玻璃上制作的。 桌上放着一张手绘地图，告诉住客哪里是桑拿房，蒸完桑拿，小溪的哪个拐弯特别适合洗个露天的溪水澡。 以及如何沿着溪流和火山岩走到湖边，哪里可能会有点滑。 进门的地方挂着防风大衣，摆着四种尺寸的防水靴子，客人都可以使用。 在房子里居然还有非常专业的日本剑山和花剪，是Halldor圣诞节的时候送给太太的。我从田野里剪取红叶黄叶插成茶席花，Halldor说我选的红叶是蓝莓树枝，夏天遍野浆果。 Tony泡了老丛水仙。老师第一次看到冰岛的秋日荒原的时候，就说：“这时候一杯老水仙最适合秋意漫漫。”在荒原中喝老丛水仙，在体感上简直神奇，从头顶一直通到底骨，我们都是如此。可能是环境太清明，这在其它地方从来没有过。 房子有三个卧室，每间本身不大，但都有超大的窗户可以看风景。枕着极光入睡，迎着朝霞醒转。 房子里挂着一个海报，写着： 在沙滩写作，在夏天和秋天阅读； 在冬天和春天阅读，把文字写在风里。

La casa más increíble en la que hemos estado, todo lujo de detalles.. no faltaba de nada, la casa preciosa, el jacuzzi una auténtica locura, nos hemos enamorado completamente de la casa!! Volveremos seguro!

A great place and location to travel/explore while still having the comforts of home! As a family trip with 6 adults it was nice to have both shared and private space in the house. With the well-equipped kitchen and 2 good grocery stores in the nearby Borgenes we enjoyed preparing meals in the evening and having breakfast before heading out for our day trips. The washing machine and dryer allowed us to go home with clean clothes. The hot tub was nice to relax in after a long day of hiking. The beds were comfortable and the blackout shades in the summer were greatly appreciated. We even had a chance to pet friendly horses that would greet us near the turn-off for the house. Kari was an attentive and responsive host! Highly recommended for family and close friend trips.

The house was beautiful, actually described, and with extra bonuses like the hot tub and easy access to the lake with amazing views (also from the house and deck). There were some quirks -- there were a couple of boards missing from the ceiling when we walked in, one of the bedroom doors is very difficult to open due to risen floor boards, and there was a constant small water flow in the master bath. Nonetheless, this house was an excellent place to stay, and in a perfect central location for visiting Snefellsnes, Langjokull/Reykholt region, or the golden circle. Borganes nearby (20 minutes) is a quaint small town with a museum (the settlement museum) worth visiting. Or just enjoy the the house and peaceful surrounds! We did have problems not getting check-in information, which was a problem. The gate to get cars in and out is annoying, especially for checking in or out when there is no opener and so you need to text the hosts (which cost us 20 minutes ).

This was the perfect stay for our big group! We even got to see the lights really well a few nights out of the city lights. Great location and beautiful! 10/10 recommend.

Hallo wir waren ein Gruppe von 4 Männer und haben uns in dem tollen Haus von Heidrun sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt das Haus ist ein Traum gewesen die Lage top und die Aussicht einfach grandios vom Esstisch aus . Wir schöne Tagestouren gemacht und haben sehr viel von diesem wunderschönen Land sehen können . Das absolute Highlight waren dann am 4 Tag die Nordlichter direkt über dem Haus . Es war ein wahres Feuerwerk der Nordlichter über 2 Stunden . Mehr geht nicht 🤩🤩🤩. Das Wetter war super in all den Tagen die wir da waren da haben wir riesiges Glück gehabt . Einfach eine wunderbare schöne Reise in einer tollen Location mit atemberaubenden Eindrücken jeden Tag . Wir kommen gerne wieder . Bernhard Thies

We booked at the last minute because our initial host canceled on us suddenly, which left us really bummed but once we checked into Ivar’s place we really forgot about everything leading up because the place was so perfect! It’s private and has limited light pollution so we saw the aurora every night. It was super clean too. But the highlight was that it had literally everything we could possibly need like spices, an ironing board, toiletries, snacks, cooking utensils etc. and we loved the fireplace and hot tub!

Einfach eine traumhafte Unterkunft, die wir leider nur für eine Nacht genießen durften. Wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Alles war in einem top Zustand, die Betten waren super bequem und der Ausblick auf die Berge super schön.

Fabulous place with breath-taking views of the mountains, short stroll to a peaceful lake, soothing mineral water in the hot tub, and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for a 2 or 3 family visit, with toys and books for kids. A great home base for exploring Iceland. Ragnhildur and Astridur are gracious hosts.

Amazing house, views and friendly responsive hosts. Clear instructions and responsive to questions. We saw auroras on 4 nights of our stay. Perfect location for being away from the city lights and being able to star gaze and enjoy the surroundings. Would stay here again

Totale Ruhe! Wer die Abgeschiedenheit braucht, ist hier Goldrichtig. Eine bombastisch gut ausgestattete Hütte mit Whirlpool am See - Tramhaft. Gute Betten, gemütliches Sofa, toller Whirlpool, Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den See und die magischen Polarlichter und eine supergut ausgestatette Küche machen das Haus zu einem perfektwn Erlebnisort. ein paar Kleinigkeiten gabs es trotzdem: In der Küche fehlten ein Nudelsieb und ein Dosenöffner (Jetzt fehlt nur noch das Nudelsieb) ;) Der Weg zur Hütte ist die letzten 8min eine holprige Schotterstrecke, die aber gut befahrbar ist. und der Weg von der Strasse zum Haus runter wär mit einer Treppe netter. es ost doch recht schräg und mit Laub und Schnee dann auch schmerzhaft rutschig. ;) Alles in Allem würden wir das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.
