We really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The hot tub was very enjoyable after riding and hiking. We played music on the back deck and danced and had no worries of bothering anyone. The beautiful green pastures were very appealing and calming to sit back and relax. Melissa was very responsive to our needs and requests. If we ever come back to that area, we will definitely be looking to re-book this place. Absolutely loved everything about it!

Had an amazing weekend at this cabin! The fireplace was perfect for cozy nights, and one of the highlights was feeding deer right out of our hands one morning. The whole experience was unforgettable, and we can't wait to come back and explore the beautiful mountain town of Beech, NC again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This house was amazing, me and my family wanted to get away from the city for the weekend and this was a great place to stay at, it was very peaceful. we definitely would book again!

This listing had everything and so much more. the host was extremely helpful with recommendations for activities in the area. she was also very thoughtful, leaving a bottle of champagne for my wife and I to celebrate her birthday. the house was immaculate, with cozy ambiance down to aromatherapy in every room. the listing had.a hot tub, sauna, fire pit, game room, multiple fireplaces, very comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in spacious showers, comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. there were even menus for local restaurants provided in a well organized book. if you are planning to stay in the Banner Elk/Beech Mtn/Sugar Mtn area, this listing should be on the top of your list! we will absolutely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Beech Retreat!! It was located very close to the ski resort (2-3 min drive), the surrounding mountain areas were beautiful, and the home itself was very cozy and well furnished. We loved using the hot tub, cozying up near the fireplaces, and waking up to deers at the front door :). Next time we make a trip to Beech Mtn, we would love to stay here again!

We love staying here. It’s a perfect place for families and easy to walk to slope.

Paul was so quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also very friendly and helpful. Heavens Gate, WOW, the name says it all. The cabin is so beautiful and very well decorated. When you first walk in, you're on the second floor. There's large sliding doors that lead outside to the deck that has the most amazing views of the lake. It is truly breathtaking! They have a very well equipped kitchen. It has a regular pot & a K-cup maker which came in handy. There are games, tv, great wifi and an awesome hot tub! The hot tub was hot and clean. We quickly unpacked, made a mimosa and jumped right in. That view, also amazing! The Wifi worked outside to play tunes while we soaked in the tub & amazing views. The road was scary for this FL girl, but you do get use to it. Also deer walked around the house and we saw an eagle. The beds were super cozy and there were plenty of dressers to unpack. The master shower was so nice. I can go on and on... just book it, you will not regret it!

Beautiful home, very comfortable for groups that seek private bedrooms. Also has very comfortable mattresses (some very firm, which I like). Close to Beech Mountain ski resort & beautiful views. Kitchen, dining & living area all open with a ton of windows. We really enjoyed our stay.

we enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven immensely. It was in the perfect spot for a relaxing stay for us and our fur baby, with a short sprint to Bristol Motor Speedway for the races. Hope to come back soon!

Blas was super responsive and very friendly and helpful. The property was easy to find and close to all that Banner Elk and the surrounding area has to offer. It has a great front porch for hanging out and has great views. Very cute interior with a pool table and games in the basement. I highly recommend this cabin.

Will was a great host and very responsive. His home was beautiful, had great amenities and most importantly clean and taken care of! Most will need 4x4 to get up and down the driveway especially it has snowed or is icy.

We absolutely loved the property! The cabin was so warm and inviting and you feel like you have the entire mountain to yourself. We will definitely be back again!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It is a beautiful home in a very peaceful and relaxing area. Plenty of space for our family of four (or more). The space was welcoming, clean, comfortable, stylish and we enjoyed every part of it. The host was helpful and responsive - they clearly love the cabin and take very good care of it. Beautiful surroundings, a creek rushing by and plenty of decks to appreciate it! We wanted for nothing with plenty of linens and a full kitchen. Tread carefully on the rocky, uneven walk to the hot tub, especially if it's wet!

Cozy Getaway Close to Town – Loved the Hot Tub! This cabin was the perfect little escape! It’s nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The location is great — tucked just far enough away to feel private, but still only a short drive to town for groceries, restaurants, and a coffee run. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly comfy, and the kitchen had just enough to cook simple meals. The real highlight, though, was the hot tub. So nice to soak in it at night under the stars — super peaceful. If you’re looking for a chill spot to unwind with easy access to town, this cabin’s a solid choice.

Christina’s place was amazing! The views were beautiful, and the house had everything we could have needed. We were supposed to ski and got rained in, but had an absolute blast just hanging around the cabin. It comfortably fit all 8 of us and had all of the amenities for a fun stay (hot tub, pool table, directTV). We had guests go for walks on various walking trails around the property as well. Would recommend this place to anyone!
