Great place to stay, with a 1 YOD + a 1.5 YOD puppy loved the security of the backyard for our puppy and little boy could ride his bike… without losing the beautiful yard and great BBQ area.. easy to clean up after puppy.. just need a small battery blower.. the fish pond out front was a hugh hit with baby boy to feed the fish. This place has everything you need for a family getaway..not to far from town..

We loved staying at Rosedale cottage. It’s unique, clean and tidy and has a very homely feel! It has a great garden if you bring a pet to run around as fully fenced. We would highly recommend Philippa’s place.

I had asked for a no contact stay as it was a romantic weekend away, and wow!! This place did not disappoint!!! The bread, homely touch’s and spa!!! The blinds 100% made it as the sun set. We will be back

The Shearing Shed Cowra - Boutique Farm Stay

The Shearing Shed is a whimsical delight. It is exactly as you see in the photos. It’s spacious and the king bed is soooo comfortable. It’s rustic and charming and very relaxing. We happened to visit when Cowra was nudging 40c and the powerful a/c unit kept the whole shed perfectly cool. Viv was a fantastic host welcoming us in person, gave us the low down on the place and the local area and even called and booked us into a restaurant for our Saturday night. Their friendly animals wander about and will check in you occasionally (dogs Peter and Simba, cat Bob and the 2 horses. One of whom George visits each morning). Fantastic stay, highly recommended.

Beautifully styled and private cottage for a very peaceful getaway. The surrounding property is breathtaking, especially in the evenings with the sun setting. Maria was extremely hospitable and her special touches of baked bread, jams, fruit and bacon was greatly appreciated.

As a group of over 75's, it fitted our needs perfectly, we were able to walkout to eat and use the nearby supermarket. the home was very nicely presented, fitted out and provisioned. Would recommend for a quality break for friends and family.

Kate’s place is the perfect space to rest in Parkes. It has everything you need! The house is at the end of a quiet street, which we really appreciated. Kate is so friendly and helpful! We would absolutely stay here again.

Cowra Cottage - a quaint historic cottage.

Our stay at this gorgeous, quaint little cottage was perfect. The cottage is renovated beautifully and the space is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and equipped with absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Anne was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive to any questions and queries I had. We were able to walk to local eateries and establishments and there was plenty of space to park safely out the front of the property. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and neighbors were friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cowra and could not recommend the cottage enough.

Country Glamping Escape

Ah the serenity! ... an unexpected gem and perfect overnight stop travelling from Qld to Victoria. So good for the soul. Gemma was very friendly and welcoming; offering suggestions of things to see on property. The goats are adorable! Just beautiful experiencing sitting outdoors under the expanse of stars. The cabin was cosy and comfortable. Everything there that you need. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Can't wait to hear more about the 113 year old family farm!

Our subcontractor team had a fantastic stay at Anne’s house while working on a project in the area. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything they needed for their stay. Anne was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend their stay unexpectedly. Her flexibility and understanding made a big difference for us. The accommodation was beautiful. Very comfortable, tastefully furnished and spotless with all the amenities one needs. The setting is peaceful and the outlook over the billabong is lovely. The gardens are the highlight. Bountiful and a labor of love. Wonderful setting to rest in, listen to the birds and read a book! Wendy provided a generous hamper of breakfast goodies including home baked sourdough and encouraged picking produce from the garden. Kelpie Pete was a great companion on walks around the property.

Belubula Cottage, Canowindra

Margaret’s cottage was very clean and well-appointed (the little things like bath robes and good quality towels were a nice touch). The two lovely decks/verandas were great to enjoy all the generous supply Margaret had provided (fresh breakfast produce, jams, teas etc.) on. We and our dog had a great stay!

Absolutely loved the house and the location was super convenient. Only downside was the noise of trucks passing throughout the night and neighbours dogs barking, but we would still book again, and just take some earplugs or white noise devices next time 😊

Our stay at Crested Pidgeon Cottage was such a treat! I’ve stayed at over 30 Airbnb’s, in over 15 countries…and this was my favorite experience thus far. Clive the Camel was the selling point, but the entire stay was great. It was so peaceful, and the nature watching was top notch. We saw a family of kangaroo on the drive in, got to watch the sheep, alpaca and camel out the back door, and plenty of bird watching as well. We also got an extra special surprise when we found out she was fostering a joey, which we got to meet and hold. Emmie was super friendly and we learned a lot about their farm and the area. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra night. If you are in need of accommodations in the area, I highly recommend!

This place is like a theme park A time travellers delight It is niche but if you want a piece of living history then you don’t go past the homestead Yes, its a bit dusty- but then so is history Seriously a grand experience Tied it in with the Elvis fest in Parkes and could not have been happier The host was super helpful and really clear With communications . Just so much fun

The host was very responsive and made it super easy & convenient for us to get into the place. We were traveling through town and looking for a comfortable long stop/overnight for ourselves and our aging mum. Worked well us & her with ever increasing access limitations for someone in their mid-late 80’s.
