We returned to the Bay Area from the East Coast for a family event - and were lucky to find Charlie and Jenny’s place very close to where family lives. Communication was amazing even before the trip began . The apartment is on the bottom of Charlie and Jenny’s house and very private . There is a separate parking space, which is a a huge bonus in the area. The living space is VERY roomy - much more so than I expected from pics! SUPER clean , and SUPER well stocked, with lots of personal touches . Loved the kitchen and bathroom !!! I had to do some work during the week and there was a woke space as well. Two comfy bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds, extra blankets, pillows, pool/beach towels - you name it. We met both Charlie and Jenny in person and they were so lovely to chat with . Charlie gave lots of great restaurants info ! If you travel with family or kids- they also will find so many toys, games- even bathtub toys ! Since we will return to the area, I would absolutely return!

I absolutely loved Sue's quiet, adorable cottage in Oakland. It was everything I wanted and more. She adds special touches that are above the normal expectations. There were snacks for us upon arriving too tired to go to the store. The mattress was amazingly comfortable. All amenities you could possibly need in the bathroom and kitchen and all very clean. Thank you Sue for sharing your home with us.

This was a wonderful spot! Incredible hosts. Great communication! Chris offered great information about places to go to and eat in town. We would definitely stay again!!

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

Alexander’s place was the perfect stay for my family. His place was clean and well organized. The kitchen pots and pans were in great condition and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. We definitely recommend staying here!

I needed a quiet place to work for a week, and Jeff’s place was perfect— peaceful, cozy, and pristinely organized. I cooked most meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed. The view is magical— right on the sand overlooking the ocean. It’s hard to leave when you get used to falling asleep to waves crashing! Will definitely be back.

I stayed here for a month and it was great, I highly recommend! As described and seen in the pictures. Annie was helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I think this apartment is perfect for 1-2 people with a child or small/medium-sized pet. Clean and cozy with nice, warm lighting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was small but well-equipped, living room was roomy with a medium-sized couch, and bathroom more than sufficient. I loved relaxing on the deck as well! The neighborhood is hilly and beautiful, close to bus/ferry/restaurants/stores. Touristy downtown, but not as much in the immediate vicinity. I walked A LOT with my dog and enjoyed it, but the hills can be steep! Definitely a very safe area. The only “con” is, in my opinion, it’s just a bit expensive for the size. However, I understand it’s in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and am sure Airbnb fees/taxes account for a decent part of the cost. Suffice to say, this is a once-in-a-long-while stay for me. Hopefully that’s fair.

Annie and Alex‘s Airbnb is wonderful! It’s in a great location, well designed, clean and modern, and equipped with all of the items you would want in the kitchen. You have access to a beautiful outdoor garden with dining table and chairs. Location! While you can walk to the best shopping for fruits and vegetables, there is free street parking as well. BART is a quick 13 minute walk! Lastly, Annie and Alex are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. We would highly recommend their AirBnb for either short or longer stays

Had a great time staying here! It's a nice apartment, fairly spacious and well decorated (and many many books). The location was awesome and the highlight. You get a great view of the bay + SF from the hills. It's also close to both nice hikes and the university.

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

Toni's & Philip's place was perfect. Seriously - clean, wonderful array of amenities in the kitchen, lovely garden backyard with bocce ball, clean, comfy bed, ample bathroom with great water pressure, clean, windows that open for fresh air, filtered water from the fridge, plenty of electrical outlets...and did I mention clean? You won't be disappointed. Walkable to restaurants and we found parking easy on the street. It's only 2 blocks from Golden Gate Park which, no matter how often I visit the area, always has something new to explore. Toni and Philip are the kind of people you wish to have as neighbors. They were attentive but not intrusive in any way. I would definitely seek this place out again in the future. Kudos to you, Toni & Philip, for creating such a lovely space!

This was my first stay at an Airbnb ever. I spent a month here and it was great. The place is spacious, clean and well-stocked with all the necessities, including in the kitchen. The location is convenient to both Berkeley and Oakland, including the Ashby BART station, Berkeley Bowl and a local gym called Berkeley Barbell Club. I can’t imagine a better host than Joe. He usually responds to any message within minutes, and is proactive in dealing with any issue or answering any question. All in all, I highly recommend it.

This was the best Airbnb I've stayed in. It was just as described and so clean. I love that it wasn't cluttered with stuff. It was a very nice neighborhood. I hope to stay there again! We loved it!

Supada's place was the perfect spot for what we needed. It was quiet, offered walkable access to everything, and was by far the most reasonably priced Airbnb in the area. Also, Superhost indeed! The communication was always clear and timely. Thank you, Supada!

A resort-style feel. The house is really well maintained. The layout was nice and we felt like there was plenty of space. The entire home showed great care. The house was stocked with anything we could possibly need. We were pleasantly surprised to find a generous amount of snacks, drinks and breakfast staples provided free of charge. There were clear and helpful instructions/signs posted everywhere. The patio was a little oasis where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning. There was a large supply of books and games for the family. Everyone had a great time and we couldn't be more pleased. This home has my highest recommendation.

My Son an I did a 5 day stay. The place was very centrally located on the pacific coast. The place was very cozy, clean and comfortable with outstanding ocean views from everywhere in the cabin. Good parking for two vehicles. Weather was so so, but did not hindered us a bit. We hiked at Muir Woods, the overlook and the beach all within 5 minutes away. We were able to go to San Francisco multiple times 35 minutes to do half day lunches or dinners and Sausalito 20 minutes. Yeshi was very responsive when we communicated, but really needed little assistance. The home is older and very charming. It reminded me of my own house growing up. Would definitely stay here again.

The host was terrific. We ran the Napa marathon and could not get back to the air BNB before check out. He kindly extended our stay which I greatly appreciate!!

Wow, we absolutely LOVED our stay at Amy’s Local BnB. Amy was truly the most hospitable host, she was so friendly, offered amazing recommendations, and was very responsive. We so enjoyed the fresh eggs, as well. I can’t recommend her place enough, we will certainly be back. The location was peaceful, and decorated perfectly. The amenities were perfect.

The stay was exactly what we needed. 2 bed, 2 bath with a pool and things for the kids to do. We were surprised to find out it wasn’t an apartment, but a timeshare, so like a hotel but they give you the sales pitch at check in. Only downside is there isn’t anything walkable like a coffee shop, or restaurant on property, but downtown is only 5 mins away. Recommend hitting the grocery store for everything. They charge for wifi which we found odd.

Dylan & Alex’s place was a perfect place to stay while visiting SF! It felt very central and easy to get to a lot of places; and its proximity to Golden Gate Park was an added bonus! The backyard area was beautiful and felt like an escape from the city!

A terrific location and quiet, well equipped place to stay. 2 br 2 full bath made getting ready to go out each day really easy. I can't say enough about this place and Roseann is an amazing host.

This is such a lovely studio. Super comfy and spotless. The bed is very comfy, the kitchenette was just right for making a quick breakfast, and I loved the deck - could have lounged on the deck chairs for days enjoying the sun and the view. The neighborhood is gorgeous. Quiet but inviting, with some very impressive architecture, and several fantastic little local parks. Everything is pretty steep in the area, and it makes you feel like you're in a different world from the rest of the city. Jan was very responsive and helpful, and we had exactly the relaxing weekend we needed.

This has to be the best value possible if you are going to the Moscone Center. It was a great place to stay.
