Wow! What an amazing stay! The room is beautiful, tastefully decorated and has everything you could have ever thought to have. The dock means the view from the bedroom is amazing. We found ourselves swimming in the crystal clear water and using the kayak provided by Susan throughout our stay. The area and water is incredibly private. Apart from a few swimmers, and lots of tropical fish, we didn’t see anyone! The bus stop is just outside (we got a 7 day ticket) and the crystal caves, swizzle inn and restaurants are only a bus ride away. We did also check out the restaurants which were a 5 minute walk from the cottage and they were brilliant! Susan is so lovely. She will go out of her way to do anything for you. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would recommend Susan’s Airbnb to anyone who visits Bermuda and only wish we stayed longer than we did!

From start to finish, this was a dream spot to stay during our trip to Bermuda! Beautiful location right alongside the ocean with plenty of outdoor seating and access to kayaks. The morning view of the sunrise was picture perfect, and the sunset was almost as nice. We had five guests stay at the Wharf Cottage and we all had plenty of space to ourselves, and access to three washrooms made for increased comfort. Most of the time photos you see online will make houses/rooms/patios appear bigger than they really are, however this cottage feels larger than you see in the photos! Colin/Gary were very responsive, and answered all of the questions we had, one being to refill the BBQ tank which was done promptly the next day before we even returned from our visit to Hamilton. The location is close enough to the bus stop which is very handy to start and end your day - you even get to walk over the world smallest drawbridge to get there! Overall we had a great time & would happily return!

Amazing property, Amazing host Our host, Cornell, was so friendly and helpful that he really made our visit enjoyable. We've been using Airbnbs for many years and this was one of our best visits. And the property itself is lovely -- gorgeous view of Harrington Sound, very clean, and a well-stocked kitchen. Even our grandchildren (6 and 8) said that if 5 stars was the highest rating, then I should give him 6! Thanks for a wonderful, memorable week.

Our first time in Bermuda and we had a marvelous time. So much to see and do and the bus system wasnt hard to figure out. James' place being not far from the airport made arrival and departure easy. Mid march to end of march the temp has been 20-23 C and the swimming and snorkeling fantastic. (Dont miss Tobacco Bay, behind the big rocks for corals and a multitude of fish.) Had the beaches to ourselves most days. Remember to say Good morning/afternoon to the bus drivers when you get on and thank you when you get off, to be considered polite!

James was great and his place was as advertised. Very comfortable and peaceful. Check in and check out were a breeze. Laundry on site was a huge help. Walkable pizza place near by was good. The beaches and coopers island were a reasonable walk and great places to relax. I would definitely stay here again.

Wayne’s pool side unit was perfect for our stay. Wayne was great host and was very responsive if we had questions. A little walk to the bus and very centrally located to everything on the island. We even took the kayaks out on our last day to the island across the way. Our trip to Bermuda was everything we wanted. We got some time to relax and other time to do some of the beautiful sights Bermuda has to offer. Would for sure recommend any of Wayne’s units.

This is the second time we have spent a month at this place during the winter (feb/Mar). Its a beautiful location with lovely gardens and a great view. The bus service isn't the best but that is no problem to us as we always rent a scooter to get about. James is a great host, always ready to help and very friendly - like everyone in Bermuda. I hope to spend many more vacations here.

We had a great stay. Don, Michelle and their family made us feel very welcome. The apt is super clean with a well stocked huge kitchen. Bonus washer and dryer. The view just steps from the bay was spectacular. The outdoor seating provided a tranquil place to sit and watch the sunsets. The bus stop is an easy 5-8 minute walk, and there is a small convenience store a short walk away. Although there is no living room, the love-seat in the large bedroom did the trick. Michelle’s welcome rum swizzle was awesome, and the “treats” were greatly appreciated. Would stay again!

The last week of March (no A/C or heat needed, we spent 7 perfect nights surrounded by beauty at this meticulously maintained property with sunrise views of 3 palm trees around a clean pool and the islands in the glorious blue waters of Harrington Sound. We used the tandem kayak to visit Trunk Island and saw nests of Long Tail White Birds. Everything you need, Shelly Market Place, Post Office for bus passes and the bus stops are only about a ten minute safe walk away to Crawl Hill. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mike's place in Bermuda, and it was a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat in a more remote location, which was exactly what we were looking for. With a little planning, it's easy to access the entire island. We rented a small vehicle, and getting around was a breeze—there’s so much to explore, and having a car made it all possible. One thing to note is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit slow, which is typical on islands, so if you need to join HD video calls or attend high-bandwidth meetings, keep that in mind. For most other needs, it works perfectly fine. There is a resort, a few miles away, that has sufficient Wi-Fi so such meetings, called Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beautiful and convenient place to stay in Bermuda. It's a 5-star place. Thanks Mike!
