Teri’s condo is fabulous! Sparkling clean; beautifully appointed. She had incredibly helpful, friendly texts and emails. The condo unit was on the end; was nice and quiet, with a pretty view of lawn and garden. The pool and Hotub were great! We would happily stay again!! Thank you Teri!

Great place and great location on the door steps of Olympic. This has to be one of the most eco-friendly places in the area, with conscious decisions on disposable items. The place is a cute old house that has been well maintained, and spacious and cozy Amie and Cody have been great about describing the traffic noise (it is one of the busiest streets in town), and many others don't seem to mind -- it is more annoying than anything given you are on the outskirts of a national park in a small town

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Wonderful location and views, with comfy bed and everything you need for your time on Orcas. It’s close to town (although if walking, you are along a busy street with no sidewalk for a portion so not ideal for everyone) and very thoughtfully arranged. We had a great stay and would come back :)

We've been staying at Julie's and Peter's place/s for close to 15 years now. They are unsurpassed in the quality of attention to detail, added amenities, and communication when it comes to vacation homes. We woke up this morning and I said, "They did it again. We walk in, we settle, and we feel like home." We don't ever feel this comfortable anywhere else, and frankly, don't want to return home. My husband thought about going out to buy a kite, and I said, "I bet there's one here." There were two! Plus, the West Beach walks with the views in every direction at this location are something else. Thank you for sharing your magic, Julie and Peter - our kids have practically grown up vacationing on Whidbey thanks to you.

Such a cute place! Right in the heart of the town so it was easy to walk to the nearby restaurants and shops. Also, right on the beach with easy access. Will definitely stay here again!

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

The cottage was just as described. We loved the private hot tub, back deck lighting, artsy shower, peaceful morning spent listening to the birds and no other sounds on the front porch adirondack chairs. It was just what we needed for our birthday get-away.

Lynna and Dennis’s cottage was the single best airbnb experience we’ve had. The space is beautiful and cozy, and our hosts were infinitely kind and welcoming. There is so much to do on this property—it was a true “choose your own adventure” experience. It seemed like every day we discovered a new nook or cranny that Lynna and Dennis have put there to surprise and delight guests. We kayaked, explored the tide pools, lit the wood stove when it got chilly out, and had an all around wonderful time. Their recommendations for things to try around the island were spot on. (Check out the whale watch they suggest—we had a blast, and learned a lot about the region!) There is so much more to be done and enjoyed on this property and on Orcas than we could fit into four days, and we sincerely hope we’ll have the chance to return soon!
