A Perfect Escape – 6 Stars If I Could! I visited The Birdhouse for a much-needed getaway and mental escape. The house and the surrounding nature were exactly what I needed—and then some. The peaceful setting, beautiful amenities, relaxing hot tub, and countless spots to sightsee, read, or simply recharge were truly amazing. Planning to return with my family! Huge thanks to Austin and Katie for sharing their beautiful property. The Birdhouse is truly a must-see.

Thanks Kate for sharing your beautiful home! We had a relaxing yet wonderful weekend. Did some fishing, hot tubbing and made wonderful meals here. Your kitchen was PERFECT for our stay. We love cooking and you really did think of everything in your design. We brought a lot of utensils and ended up not using because you had it all. 😊 This house feels so cozy tucked into what felt like a cove. Fireplace was really nice and snuggled up and watched the rain. Truly peaceful and just what we needed. Thank you again!

This house is absolutely stunning! It’s spotless, beautifully designed, and located in a fantastic spot. The view is breathtaking, with a beautiful lake and a lovely interior. There’s plenty of space for big families, and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The house is also incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors. We enjoyed staying at Alexandras place! This placed is stocked up with anything you can imagine! Alexandra was very flexible with our group and was very welcoming! We will definitely coming back in the summer to enjoy this cabin, truly a beautiful place to come relax and spend time with family or friends :)

We had a great experience! The house was far enough from downtown Dells to be quite and peaceful but close enough to be convenient to everything. Jacob was extremely responsive. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay. From the moment we reserved the Lilikoi to our checkout, Daryl was very attentive and responsive. It blew us away on how peaceful it was there. My girlfriend’s son rode a bike for the first time without training wheels, went kayaking for his first time, and learned archery. There was a lot of wildlife and we spent most of our time around the camp fire and surrounding woods. Dog friendly trails and lodging. Do yourself a favor a book a weekend or a week. You won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and charming house! It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is absolutely classic – close to everything we needed yet peaceful and relaxing. Although the house is on the smaller side, it is beautifully designed and makes great use of the space. The only suggestion we have is adding a dishwasher, which would be especially helpful for families with kids. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily return. Highly recommend!

The cabin is great! Tranquil, relaxing, comfy, cozy, are the top words that come to mind describing it. We had a relaxing weekend in the cabin and explored a few establishments in the area. David is a great host and is very friendly, attentive (checked in with us to make sure we were settled) and has done a wonderful job with the place. Can’t wait to return in the future! We totally enjoyed our three days at the little farm. Trevor is a great host and I enjoyed talking with him and the special tours of the new chicken coop and the old barn and blacksmith shop. The view over the marsh and sunrise were amazing. Pretty cool spending a few days at a 1888 farmstead on the end of the road. Very peaceful and with a comfortable dwelling that had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here for a true change of pace. Thanks Trevor.

My niece & I had the most wonderful stay at this adorable cabin. Everything you need is provided to make this a home away from home. We really appreciated all the small touches throughout the house. Our names written on a chalkboard welcoming us. The bag of ice in the freezer next to a frozen pizza if we got hungry. They even have a little basket in the bathroom full of things to use if you forgot something. The kitchen is completely stocked w/flatware, p&p's, glasses, & condiments. The beds are suuuuper comfy with extra blankies if u get chilly. And the view of the lake from the kitchen & downstairs bedroom is fantastic. Oh and I saw a bald eagle fly across the lake while I was fishing off the dock!!!! Tammera & Brandon went above & beyond what we expected. They are lovely hosts & they helped make our trip truly memorable. I'll be back to go riding in the fall & I will be booking my stay here.

Great stay at the cabin. It was peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. Close enough to all activities the Dells have to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and calm of the beautiful area. Our family had a great time!

My friends and I stayed here for a getaway before the craziness of finals and it was perfect! The amenities were just as described and we were extremely comfortable! All the board games were a really nice touch that we really appreciated, and the host was quick with communication the entire time providing very clear instructions for both check-in and check-out.

This place was amazing, what an incredible view. Thank you so much for sharing your space. Erica’s place had everything you’ll need to have a great time with family and friends. I will definitely be back soon.

It was a wonderful cabin and a great setting. We had the unfortunate luck of some bad weather, but that's how it goes in early spring in the Midwest. Thankfully the cabin made for a nice hideout from the cold, rain and snow outside. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs nook. We made a few bonfires and peaked at the beautiful lake when it wasn't raining. McJuggers and 3 Sweets Bakery just a few minutes away were nice spots, along with the Twisted Pair in Adell. We'd definitely consider coming back to enjoy the outdoors at some point in the future.

The cabin was the perfect escape for our long weekend. Outside was a secluded pine forest surounding a picturesque log cabin. Inside was a warm and cozy cabin that offered exactly what we needed for family's winter ski trip / get a way. There was plenty of room for our kids in the loft. We cooked most of out meals in the fully stocked kitchen. And we enjoyed sitting around the fire place at night while watching a movie in the den. Location is perfect for anyone looking to get away or venture into the Dells, Adams county or any of the state parks.

We loved this cabin! It was secluded and peaceful with space for the kids and pups to run, but also convenient to groceries, restaurants, and shops. We built a fire and made s’mores, walked the shops in town, and enjoyed the local restaurants and brewery. I would love to go back and we recommend this property for families, couples, or even a single getaway. Bonus: cabin had lots of books and games to enjoy as well.

So, relaxing, cute, cozy, came home from fishing all day, was so nice just to relax on the couch with fireplace on. Way better than staying at a motel. So glad I treated myself to this place.

We had an amazing stay at Joe's place! The house was incredibly clean, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Joe was very responsive and proactive with his communication, something that I always appreciate when renting properties. It really made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The house itself is huge and there was more than ample space for our group of 10. We never felt cramped and everyone had their own comfortable spot to relax. One of the highlights was Reilly's Pub, just down the road and walkable. The food and service there were great, making it a perfect spot for our group to unwind. Our group does an annual trip and we can definitely see ourselves coming back here. Thanks, Joe, for a fantastic stay!

This cabin is by far my favorite stay from Airbnb. From the architectural details to the collections of antiques and nature specimens, this felt I was living in a Pinterest cottage for the weekend. As an interior designer I appreciated all the wood work, beams, and decorative tiles. The exterior is also breathtaking! Heavy mortared stone and wood siding with a brick path surrounding the house creates an English countryside vibe. With the home being tucked back into the woods we had ultimate privacy during our trip. CABIN ENVY! While there is no wifi and we had no cell reception, the game room was great for entertainment. There is a collection of board games, dvds, pool table, etc. We went to SoLu winery near by, grabbed bakery from 3 Sweets Cafe, hiked a near by trail, and visited the light house in Fon Du Lac. Lots to do in the area and the host gave us tons of recommendations! She was very responsive making our stay very easy going. This is a trip I would love to do again!

Had an amazing stay in this very cozy Cabin. The hosts really take care of this cabin so it’s only right we do as well, even with frigid temperatures it still felt very warm inside. The hosts also work very diligent to keep everything running smooth. They were very responsive and flexible to help accommodate you. Thank you would visit again!

If you enjoy peace & the outdoors, this is the perfect location! Lots of space for the kids to run around. Beautiful cozy home with all the amenities you need. Pictures do not justify how great this home is!!
