Very nice and clean! Loved the beach access and the pool!

We had no issues comfortably sleeping a family of 5. Owners were very responsive and helpful. We had a great trip and would stay again in the future.

Stayed here in early April. We loved that from the main floor we were able to see the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows and watch the dolphins. Loved the open floor plan on the main floor. You could see the view from everywhere. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you could need to make light lunches or full meals. The beds were very comfortable with quality matresses. Bedrooms had plenty of dresser space. The older kids enjoyed having a large space of their own on the lower floor to hang out, play games and watch movies together while the adults were on the main floor. Even though it was early for the season there was alot to see and do in the area and the pool was already open. We loved that we were able to walk off the back deck straight to the beach along a boardwalk. It made it so easy and convenient to go back and forth when you needed a break or just wanted to go out for a short time. This will be our first choice to stay again on our next visit.

We actually booked another Airbnb but the host cancelled on us when we were on the literal doorstep. We had to scramble since it was a holiday weekend and everything was booked and expensive. We finally found Tony’s place. He was super responsive. It was clean, and convenient both in location and amenities. Also it smelled so good, which is a weirdly big thing for me. We were very thankful to have found it so last minute

This is our second time staying at Deb and Paul’s condo. The host is very responsive and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. It’s in a great location within A Place at the Beach. Our family loves it here!

I hated giving the cleaniness a 4 because it wasn't Gerald's fault: i forgot that North Carolina is a bug infested state as a whole. There wasn't an infestation so the place was cleaner than most! The house was perfect for two people: there's plenty of room and amenities. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom wasn't working but it wasn't a deal breaker and i managed. The location was perfect for visiting family, who just so happened to not live too far away, and everything that we wanted to do was within a reasonable driving distance. Thr next time we come to Jacksonville, we hope that this place is available! Also, Gerald was very friendly and responded within the hour if not less, which was very appreciative.

Really enjoyed our time here. It is very close to the beach and also beach access. The kitchen is quite large and accommodates cooking a large meal. We have three kids and there was plenty of room to sleep comfortably. Not sure how crowded this part of the beach gets in the Summer, but the location is amazing and not having to find parking is such a benefit for this area. Secluded environment, yet not more that 15 minutes from a full grocery store. You are sort of limited on TV options here to what apps are on the tv (the rules ask you not to add any apps) so a firestick of your own or an HDMI cord to connect your laptop is something I would recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was a perfect stay for the holidays! Very cozy and peaceful!! They were very helpful and nice! If you’re looking for something simple and all around good place to stay, this is your place!

Great location, easy access to a secluded beach, quiet neighborhood, and convenient to restaurants and shopping! Driveway parking available for 4 cars. Kelly provided everything that was needed for a comfortable stay at the beach, including beach chairs, beach toys / games, towels and linens, disposables for laundry/dishes/bath. Second bedroom was a bit uncomfortable for two, but that was only a minor nuisance. Beautiful location!!

This is a lovely home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. There are two public beach access paths just a few moments from the home. The location is close to the pier (~1 mile walk on the beach) and a few minutes drive to all the restaurants and attractions of Emerald Isle. I appreciated the welcome book with suggestions for the area. The house was clean, had plenty of linens and towels, and the kitchen had plenty of items to help cook "at home". This is a great place to enjoy a family vacation at Emerald Isle!

Loved this week and Samantha was very responsive to our questions throughout the week. We loved how close to the beach we were and how quiet our surroundings were all week even being in a townhouse with neighbors on both sides. Lots of amenities from beach gear to bathroom hand soap to kitchen needs.

Shoua's place was exactly as described. It has wonderful views of the ocean and sound. The beach access is just a few steps away without having to cross the street. The place was clean and well-appointed. The beds and furniture were comfortable. She really thought of every family member you could possibly have, from infants to seniors. Also, having the elevator made it easy get luggage up and down. Communication with Shoua was easy. She was prompt to respond to my messages. She is a great host! I will definitely be returning.

We absolutely LOVED this place. Me and my Fiancé stayed here for a couple of days and are looking forward to coming back in the future. This place has the perfect balance of privacy, quiet, beauty, and comfort that it makes you feel truly on a retreat. 5 Stars to the host as they were very responsive, respectful, helpful, and kind.

Cathy place was amazing, their team was very accommodating and understanding to our circumstances. We loved how thoughtful and responsive she was. The views were amazing. The home felt like home. Plenty of towels and blankets. Spacious, loved the two levels! Enjoyed the fire pit on the balcony. Will come back when it’s hot as they have everything you need to hangout by the beach. We will be back for sure. Cathy’s place is a MUST when visiting Emerald Isle!

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our group! Just a short drive to the beach and close to great local spots and shopping. The process was user friendly and would definitely love to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rose's Airbnb. The place was clean and organized, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions for everything. Rose's attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. She generously provided a complimentary bottle of wine, along with a selection of drinks and snacks, which made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Her hospitality and thoughtful touches made our stay truly special. We highly recommend staying at Rose's place and would love to return in the future.

It was very close to the base which was great for us. They were responsive when we had questions and the house was clean.

Was scrambling to find somewhere to check in because my flight was canceled. It was Easter Sunday and Dakota and his team were able to get the space ready for me quickly. They were super responsive and worked hard to get me in as soon as possible. The place was perfect for a solo female traveler and very safe. Definitely felt like a home. I’d stay here again!

This has been a long stay and although we weren’t at our home, we felt like it! They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I appreciate them for working with me and providing an extended stay for my son and I. Every place we travel to daily is within 10 minutes of the location which was perfect for us. I would recommend to stay here any day! Anything I needed or needed help with, they were easily accessible for assistance.

My wife and I were very impressed with Nathan and Wendy’s place, it wasn’t just cleaned it felt sanitized. Like there wasn’t a single germ in the place. Everything about the listing was accurate and even more accommodations than you expect. Being so close to Emerald Isle and the crystal coast, yet in a peaceful and safe neighborhood was a big deal and we found it at a more than reasonable price. The hosts were very responsive and had easy, clear instructions to follow. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area

This is my family’s 4th year at EI and the Pelican Plunge might be my favorite we’ve been to thus far. The location is wonderful. You can walk or park at the community’s private beach access. We always rent a golf cart so having one available for us to use was amazing. Similarly to other reviewers, it really did feel like staying at a friends place. The home was very clean (no weird smell like some places), comfortable and was the perfect setting for my family’s vacation. Also, the beds were so comfortable, I have never slept so well at a rental! Even though it’s 3 stories, the stairs weren’t an issue at all because they were broken up into half flights so it was perfect for my mother to handle with a bad knee and for my toddler. We also loved spending time on all the decks listening to the ocean and enjoying the sea breeze. Nikki was an exceptional host, communicating with her was a breeze and I knew I could reach out for anything. I’m so happy we stayed at the Pelican Plunge!
