3 Nights was not enough for our 7 member family. We cooked, grilled, soaked in the hot and best of all had a delightful tour of Barbara's and Mike's Sheep Farm, all fit in around wedding events in Rixeyville. If life wouldn't have been in the way, 2 more days enjoying the massive deck and game room downstairs would have been perfection.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect! The communication between us and the host was phenomenal! The house was perfect for everything we needed! The hot tub was a family favorite!

We needed a place to hold us comfortably for an anniversary trip, and Jeff’s place sure delivered! He was quit to communicate with us about questions after booking and stayed in touch up to checking in to be sure we were on the same page. We even had a minor issue on a Friday evening and he was very quick to communicate so that our trip could stay on track! Home was clean and had everything we needed to make our weekend trip no stress. Thanks Jeff and team!

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

She was a great host. Went to welcome us & made sure we had everything we needed. She was so sweet! The farm house was beautiful & the views were espectacular. We will be definitely coming back.

Jeff was great at communication and flexibility for our trip. If you’re looking for a great host that makes you comfortable, stay here. The house itself was awesome. We had no major issues, which is rare for a rental of this size

We had a wonderful time! Brenda thought of everything and made our visit so enjoyable -- from a beautiful table setup, to fun play areas, to a thoughtful welcome basket full of goodies. The kids LOVED all of the fun activities outside and playing upstairs with the toys. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway with young kids!

Great airbnb! Had so many amenities especially in the kitchen and bathrooms! Only unfortunate thing was that the neighboring farm has just manured its fields and the smell was extremely overpowering. The host warned us of this the day of checkin and I’m sure there’s no way of knowing this would be the case beforehand but it was just an unfortunate situation especially since the hottub was the main draw for us. Otherwise it was a great experience and the hosts were very communicative with local recommendations and clear instructions! Would come again but maybe not in manure season ;)

Our kids had such a wonderful time! Between the game room, the hot tub, the fire pit and the huge field, they always had something to do. Our favorite part was the sunrise view from the bedrooms. Stunning!

While we ended up not being able to use (had booked for out of town family for my mom’s funeral), Abby refunded even though it was last minute. Impending snowstorm -too dangerous to travel. We will definitely rebook for mom’s Celebration of Life. Appreciate Abby’s kindness during a difficult time. I would definitely recommend! Beautiful home, spacious, good location, walking distance to good food. Happy to talk to anyone interested as I live nearby. Thank you again Abby!

The home was beautiful and very welcoming! The hosts thought of every detail to ensure that our stay was comfortable for our group. It was a great place to seek peaceful time away. Nicole’s place was absolutely perfect for our girls’ getaway! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and provided the perfect balance of comfort and seclusion. We loved how private and peaceful it felt—such a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The fire pit was amazing for cozy evenings, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking. There’s a Walmart at the bottom of the mountain if you need anything, which was super convenient. A heads-up: if you’re planning to leave on a Sunday, the nearby landfills are closed, so you’ll need to take your trash further along your route home. The drive up the mountain is stunning, but definitely requires an AWD/4WD vehicle to make it up stress-free. Nicole was so responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape and enjoy a relaxing, secluded retreat! Athena provided good instructions and was very responsive. House has a cozy “I’m at home away from home” feel. Quiet street. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Within easy walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops. Wonderful jumping off spot to experience the Shenandoah area and beautiful National Park. Thank you Athena!

Great place and awesome location, close to Old Rag and White Oak Canyon. Clean and nice accommodation, with a great view. Kid friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the house and the area!! It was so quiet and peaceful. We sat on the porch for hours just staring at the view! Great hiking trails nearby!

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

We had a great time at Justin's house. It was immaculate, had all the amenities we needed, and is a great location for exploring Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah Valley. Justin provided very detailed instructions, which made checking in a breeze. We would definitely stay there again.
