Accommodations are definitely worth the cost. Apt is clean with many amenities. Great location for getting around Culpeper Co. Restaurants and supplies are close by. You’ll find this space much more like home than staying in a motel. Host is very responsive and helped with practical needs.

A renovated motel with adorable rooms and apartment style amenities (fridge, microwave and a stovetop). Walkable to downtown Front Royal and just around the corner from the Front Royal entrance to Shenandoah National Park.

Marci is an exceptional host. she invested a lot of thought and intention into each room, amenities and great hospitality.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the conductor suite for her birthday weekend. This is a great place to stay if you want to experience Shenandoah National Park. We drove to the park each day to do some hiking and were able to relax at the conductor suite in the evening. We will definitely be coming back!

We could tell how much TLC was poured into it. Thanks for the awesome communication before and during our stay. **I did want to make note of a few things for future guest** If you are much over 6 feet tall, there are a few places you'll need to duck. My husband hit his head on a pipe in the hallway a few times before he remembered it was there. Also, just remember that full beds aren't as long as queens and kings. The kitchen sink water gets REALLY hot, so use cation. The shower had wonderful pressure and great temps! The bed was comfortable. We did hear the animals upstairs some in the night. It didn't bother us, but if you are sensitive to sound, make note that this is a basement rental and you may hear some above you. The TV doesn't come with cable or rabbit ears, you must log into and log out. Overall, it's unique!

Everything was exactly as advertised and then some. This place was perfect for me and my two littles. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed, and check in was incredibly flexible. My only complaint is that I wish I found this place earlier in the ski season. 10 out of 10 hands down.

This property was fantastic! Set on the outskirts of Elkton, we were able to quickly get into the Shenandoah National Park for some hiking and walk into town for a great dinner. Everything about the property was beautiful and impressive - it was extremely clean, spacious, and coxy. We visited over the weekend and couldn't even tell that we were below an optometry office. And the bunk beds easily fit adults and added a little extra fun (and brought back old memories) to our adventure! Ruth provided everything that we could have possibly needed and more. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area!

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The living space is beautiful and very clean, the land around the apartment and house are beautiful and the little town of Culpeper is so nice. This was the perfect place for us and our dog to stay during the week of Christmas that gave us some peace away from our families at night and we will undoubtedly be back next year. We could not recommend this place more!

My husband and I stayed at Kerry’s place for a weekend getaway and we had a wonderful time! The apartment is spacious and well appointed. We loved that it felt cozy and warm on a very chilly weekend. It’s perfectly located above the great coffee shop Before & After and is right on the main drag of Sperryville. Parking behind the apartment is super easy, and the apartment is just a few minutes by foot from RPK, The Corner Store, and Francis (cocktail bar). Kerry was super helpful and responsive and we loved our stay here!

This was the perfect place for my family to stop in the night to rest - felt safe and quiet. The place had everything we needed too. When we woke up we were in awe of how gorgeous the area was. Definitely recommend!

Paula’s place is just as described - spacious and welcoming! Very clean and has everything you would need during your stay. Easy to find and 10mins from JMU (we were there to visit with our son). Paula is a very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

I booked this home at last minute while visiting Summit point raceway. It appears to be quite new, and everything is super neat and clean. Massive TV and super comfy leather sectional is a great chill space

Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!

Our stay was amazing. Tereye was amazing. The house was nice and very clean. I had to reach out for the heat system. The home owner called me back immediately. The experience was great. I definitely will be returning.
