A serene getaway….if that’s what you’re looking for this is the place for you. You can fish, kayak, take a walk, sit by a fire pit in the evening or just sit on the deck and enjoy a beautiful view. Not to mention how beautiful the home is and the nice surprises that came with it upon arrival ❤️ Definitely want to stay again!

Jacob's place was spotless and right on the water. It worked perfectly for a guys ice fishing weekend. Jacob was very responsive and the house was exactly as described. Will be looking forward to booking this house many years to come for an annual tradition.

We were looking for a short get-a-way not too far from home to relax and enjoy a hot tub with nice scenery. That’s exactly what we got! This time of year the location was very private and quiet. Host was excellent with communication. Place was nicely decorated and very new and clean. We never used the smaller building but it would be nice for a family or a bigger group.

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin! It comfortably fit our family of 11 plus the pups, and had all of the necessary comforts of home already supplied. Beautiful property, stunning views, and Erin was extremely friendly, helpful, and responded quickly to all of our questions and oddball requests. Highly recommend! Thanks again!

Very nice spot to relax!

My wife and i hosted our out of state guests for our wedding. There were lots of rooms and places for people, most whom had never met eachother, to socialize or to take time and disappear into the wilderness. Our stay was great with all of our guests having a wonderful and memorable stay.

I am grateful the beds were comfortable here! Plenty of supplies, full kitchen and pantry items, everything you could need. The hot tub was wonderful in the cold evenings. We felt safe in the location of this property. We’d love to return in the summer when the pool is open. Overall great stay! *One small thing to note: the ladder to one of the bunk beds was broken, so top bunk wasn’t really accessible.

Very responsive. Very clean. The beds were so awesome I am purchasing it for my home. Spacious and living room seating was comfortable. Near shopping centers and grocery stores. Neighborhood has nice sidewalks. Love having a overhead fan in bedroom. We will book it again.

This is a great place to stay. Robb is always responsive for questions. It's a great location for all medical personnel working at Butterworth to walk from.

Great place for a quick trip! Very chill vibes, great separation from the main house, felt very private. We stayed for a wedding in GR and it was perfect! Sauna is so worth it! Would have loved to see it in the summer with the pool open! Missed there was no TV in the description but brought a projector as I do on every airbnb trip! Did two puzzles while we enjoyed our peaceful stay!

Sophia is an amazing hostess. We were in a tough situation, being displaced from our home and she was extremely kind and flexible. Highly recommend Sophia’s Place!

This home was absolutely gorgeous! Everything is very updated, the living space on the main floor is an open concept, which was great with a large group. Chelsie was a wonderful host, very responsive with returning my messages prior to booking, and she checked in with me during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and asking if we had any questions about anything during our visit. Every little detail was perfect, having shampoo & conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms, a blue tooth speaker in the shower, cards and games for us to use, these are just a few of the examples. We felt so at home here. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay in Grand Rapids not far from downtown, and you are looking for a place that feels like home- this is the one! So many restaurants, bars, and things to do near by. We hope to visit again in the summer months so we can make use of the beautiful outdoor patio area and of course the pool. Everyone in our group loved it here!

henry is an absolute gentleman, and devon is very friendly! she was there to help anytime we needed anything and gave clear instructions on everything! the arts and crafts was a very nice touch!

Cute cottage..found the back deck & view to be very relaxing..enjoyed kayaks & paddleboard as well :)

We rented this place to meet up with friends for my partner's 50th birthday. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Joshua clearly has lots of interests, as there was anything and everything there in terms of things to do. The kitchen was superb and super well-stocked with appliances and cooking utensils. The pool table was great. The yard was nice and spacious and felt private, and the wifi was speedy. The beds were comfortable (and I loved the pillows - rare for me.) Overall, we had a great time!

This was our 2nd time staying here. Great spacious home with everything we needed.
