Jean’s place was exactly what we wanted. Clean, tidy, and in a prime location to see what nature has to offer. A beautiful place surrounded by more beauty. Jean was extremely friendly and accommodating toward my wife and I and we’ll definitely choose to stay there again when we’re back that way. Thanks for an enjoyable stay Jean.

Honestly a perfect stay. Room faultless. Warm. Gorgeous bed and bedding. Fantastic shower. 20 min walk into Kendal town centre. Would def stay again!

Great place to stay whilst working in Barrow and the surrounding area

Overall our stay was pleasant, we were central to the town centre and minutes away from shops and pubs. The room was clean, warm and comfortable.

The hotel was exactly what we expected and hoped for - great location by the lake with boating & cafés, easy 10 minute walk into town and short drive to fabulous walks or we could even have done walks direct from the hotel. Checkin was friendly, the room was very comfortable and it was nice to have a bar in which to end an evening out.

This was a very relaxing stay, really enjoyed the place and the hot tub was an added bonus. Host was very active in replying to my messages and questions. I would book again

This place was a fabulous find, so close to the centre of beautiful Hawkshead and everything the village has to offer. Thank you Jane for letting me into the property earlier than check in time....it meant I was able to get to a wedding on time without having to get ready in a public loo 😂 very greatful for that and especially greatful to your fabulous cleaning team who worked even harder to make that happen for me. The breakfast looked as though it would have been lovely, but the bed was so comfy that we slept right through the delivery 😂 Truly wish I'd booked another night and would definitely stay again. The room is clean and tidy. you have every thing you need when stay overnight. The most impressive thing is you can enjoy beautiful distant Lake and surroundings .

If i am coming to Lake District again , I’ll definitely choose dozy deer again . It was so lovely , clean and cozy. It was nearby with the shops and the everything is accessible . They also provide something to grab at the pantry before we started our day and it was perfect 🤩 the room is suitable for family , it was very spacious and nice.
