Grace’s place was wonderful! The location was perfect and quiet. I would definitely stay there the next time I am in that area!

We love this place. This was our 3rd visit. The contrast between the bustling street at the front and the peace and quiet inside and view onto greenery at the back makes it feel like a very special secret hideaway. The castle, arts venues and brilliant bakeries and cafés are just a few steps away. The decor is stylish and warm. The garage for the car is a fab bonus but the flat is also just across from the train station if you are arriving by public transport. All you hear from the flat is birdsong and there's a birdfeeder set up so you can enjoy watching the birds too. Perfect.

Lovely place. Normally I like modern and clean places. But this was an old fashioned property which was clean and was exeptional. Would definitely stay again. Every thing close by. Sauna was a great addition.

Fantastic location for the centre of Ulverston that was in walking distance to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Grace was a friendly host, with great communications and was very accommodating with our pets. Enjoyed our festive stay and would use again in the future.

Great location in Ulverston—close to local pubs, Tesco, and everything you need. It’s a charming small town and made for a convenient base to explore Windermere and the Lake District. The place itself was cozy and comfortable, with enough parking space for our two vehicles. Would definitely recommend!

Graces place was perfect for me and my mates that where climbing Scafell Pike! We didn’t stay long but the parking is great with on site parking and a car park just down the road for more cars, Also a very good location for food and a beer, and not to far away from the climb. The time we did spend in the house we found it very clean, plenty of good beds which are comfortable and good showers. Good heating, turn down before going to bed! This was perfect for us, Thank you Grace.

Super good house for a group, the games room is great, well equipped kitchen, nice BBQ. Hot tub was a great addition. Plenty of space for everyone. Would stay again.

Excellent location right by the castle. Very quiet when we were there in the evening/overnight. High standard accomodation. Easy parking. Excellent communication with Brian at all times. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cozy space for three adults. It was just as described and we really appreciated the breakfast provisions! Bathrooms were very clean and bedrooms are comfy and have good storage space. We enjoyed the walk into town for dinners and to have a look round the shops. Nice to be able to park in the street just outside the door.

We stayed in this beautiful home over Christmas. It was perfect for the family; a spacious house, with cosy rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped which was very useful for our Christmas dinners. Louise was a great host, excellent communication and friendly.

The place is stupendous! Immaculately clean, well provisioned, very comfortable! The AirBnB is on 3 floors. The ground floor has the garage, with one bedroom, and a shower behind it. The middle floor has the living room/ dining area, with the kitchen off to the side, and the top floor has the second bedroom with a shower. The AirBnB is very close to the main street of Kendal, with two supermarkets, Booths and M&S very close by. There are lots of little cafés in the area - you should especially try The Bakery at No. 4 just 50 yards down the street! About an 8 minute walk gets you to the central bus station, with access to buses all over The Lake District, down to Lancaster, and up to Carlisle, via Keswick. Enjoy!

Jenni and Anthony are the epitome of the perfect hosts. Jenni made us feel at home before we'd even arrived by offering to leave milk in the fridge and move their car so that we could park outside. Our stay has been absolutely perfect from start to finish, with a really comfortable, well equiped home, especially for families with children. The house is brimming with lovely helpful touches, books and games galore and interesting bygone local and family pictures. We have this cottage and hosts marked as one of our all time favourites. Thank you so much, Jenni and Anthony, for making us feel so welcome!

We recently stayed at Sarah’s lovely cottage in the Lake District, and it was an amazing experience. The cottage was cozy and tastefully decorated, featuring a warm living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The private garden was perfect for relaxation, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby walking trails that offered beautiful scenery. The local town had great shops and restaurants, and the residents were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway that combined relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Lake District!

Tony is a kind, reliable, and responsive host who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished, creating a warm and comfortable environment. Its location is ideal: just a 10-minute walk from both the train and main bus stations, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the Lake District. We especially enjoyed not having to worry about breakfast each morning before heading off early on our new adventures. Special highlights were spending time with Smudge, Tony’s adorable and playful kitten, and admiring Tony's latest pottery creations. We’d gladly stay here again without hesitation!

We've had a lovely weekend away in Kirkby Lonsdale. The house is ideally situated for exploring the area and is beautifully presented. It was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Communication from the host was really clear and quick.

Ideal place for us for a day out at Morecambe golf club. Place was exactly as described, perfect for our needs, with clear instructions and expectations. Very helpful host with recommendations on where to eat as well.

Loved our stay, we had been in hospital with our little one so was nice to get in to a clean cosy home. Great location and lovely garden which was a shame we couldn’t use it as we were out early in the morning but was perfect for the 4 of us

I needed somewhere at very short notice. I book here and was concerned how long confirmation would take. The host made contact extremely quick and I was sorted and able to get into my room within the hour. The accomodation was as described and very clean. I would absolutely recommend and would stay again without question.
