We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Everything was excellent except the fact that we chose the worst weather. It is a perfect getaway where you can relax in the nature. Very caring and professional host. Cozy and clean cottage. Wish we could've stayed longer.

The cottage is just off the main road making it extremely convenient. There was more than enough space for our party of ten. We really loved the two living spaces, upstairs and downstairs. And the outside area was beautiful. We had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend Herbs place to friends!

The photos of this home looked fabulous. In person, it was even better! Stunning accommodations, gorgeous location on the water, high end finishes throughout the house and better than we expected. Extremely clean and well-stocked in each and every room. I can’t say enough about this place, we would love to return and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any of my friends or family.

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The place was just as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a true home away from home, with all the amenities we needed and more. The host Alon was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He was always available for all our questions , It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Olga’s home was beyond my expectations! The place looks exactly like the pictures, everything is spotless and very clean! There is a great attention to detail to making the home feel cozy! Olga was also very helpful throughout the trip and very responsive. It’s located very close to the restaurants and the underground garage parking was great! Overall 5/5, would highly recommend to others and will be coming back in the summer!

Beautiful view from the living room/kitchen/dining/deck area! In a very quiet neighbourhood but still close to downtown Penetang and shops and services. Kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals. Cosy and comfortable living room.

My group and I had an excellent stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is as well; inside and out. The location is quiet, yet not too secluded, making the overall experience very peaceful. The home was also very clean, functional, and had even more amenities than we were even expecting! Carol’s place was exactly as described—serene, simple, and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. The photos don’t do it justice! The space was clean, with fresh linens and thoughtful touches throughout. It was easy to find, tucked in a quiet spot close to walking trails and a short drive to Midland. My boyfriend and I loved taking an evening stroll and catching a stunning sunset by the water. Carol was great with communication—very responsive before check-in and after we left. We didn’t need to reach out during our stay since everything ran smoothly. The Wi-Fi worked great, we enjoyed Netflix, played games, and really settled in. The couch and bed were comfy, though we spent most of our time outside! We especially loved the bird-watching window, the backyard firepit, and the cozy, peaceful feel of the whole place. If you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city, Carol’s place is totally worth it! We hope to stay here again!

Tatiana and Tymur were wondering hosts. They really care for their guests and for their beautiful cottage. The large windows in the cottage really showcased the beauty of the outdoor space. There are many rooms with comfortable beds and three washrooms - all well equipped- which was great as we were traveling in a larger group. The kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the large family living room, they even had extra games for us to play. Everything was kept tidy and clean. We all felt comfortable and at home. The family was already asking to come back in the summer! Thank you again ☺️

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

We loved our time here! Robert was responsive and answered all of our questions. Instructions were clear. The cottage was clean. There was enough space for 6 adults to feel comfortable and have enough space, and a number of gathering spots to play games, eat together, etc. We were particularly impressed and grateful for all of the amenities--they have it all! For activities: 2 kayaks and a canoe, various-sized life jackets, even 2 fishing rods! Lots of games inside. There were plenty of towels, toiletries, fragrance-free laundry detergent with the washer/dryer. The kitchen is well-stocked (plenty of dishes and cutlery, large mixing bowls, baking pans, pots/pans, oils, sauces, condiments, spices), and we cooked many large meals. The fire pit was great, and they even have bug spray! The park down the street has a new tennis/pickle ball/basketball court. Cons: you can definitely hear the trains and highway, but we expected this going in. Would still recommend this cottage!

Beautiful property on Lake Simcoe with more than enough room for everyone we absolutely loved our stay and requested to stay longer but unfortunately it was committed to other guests. Great hosts, great communication. This property is the place to stay if you are looking for a spacious, lakefront property with privacy in Innisfil which is very hard to find. Highly recommended!
