This is truly what treehouse dreams are made of! A stunning A-frame tucked away in the forest, surrounded by nature and designed with so much care and attention to detail. Every corner of the cabin felt intentional and cozy, we only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The property itself is breathtaking, with views in every direction. We found ourselves constantly peeking out the windows, hoping to catch a glimpse of elk wandering by. Being immersed in the trees felt peaceful and grounding. There are other cabins on the property, so just something to keep in mind when settling in, but it also makes this a perfect place to rent multiple cabins for a family or friend gathering. The sauna was a perfect way to unwind after long days of hiking, especially with the added bonus of river views. Such a special place, we’d come back in a heartbeat!

EXCEPTIONAL STAY! This was beyond an amazing anniversary trip! This is what I call a cabin! The views and surrounds were serine, absolutely stunning! This was an amazing experience. The cabin was very quaint and cozy. Just relax, disconnect from everything in every day life and enjoy quality time. Hot Tub was a plus. The creek views and sounds were just out of this world. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Fantastic getaway spot. It's not completely isolated, but Index is a very tiny town with its own charm. Breathtaking mountain views. I enjoyed sitting on the porch each morning sipping my coffee to the sounds of the river. The host was very responsive and more than eager to help resolve any issues I had, which mostly involved me fumbling in the kitchen looking for various cookware. The Dutch oven in particular got a lot of use out of me. The power did go out once for six hours, so be aware of that risk. There are instructions on what to do during extended power outages, which includes a gas-powered fireplace and even a generator if you really need the electricity. There is a train track nearby, which seems to have a train going by every 1-3 hours, including through the night, so if you're not a heavy sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. Overall, I very much enjoyed my retreat, and I hope to come back someday.

My partner and I spent the weekend here for my birthday this weekend and it was wonderful. Earnest is a terrific host and the cabin is beautiful, cozy and serene. We enjoyed the sounds of the river, rain on the metal roof and the occasional train. The cabin was super clean, the record selection was perfect for us, and the bed was comfy. We loved the views from the loft and the living spaces. Cooking breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen with a view of the river was such a relaxing experience. Well loved exploring the bank of the river, I saw lots of beautiful serpentine and jasper in the riverbed. I cant wait to come back here during the summer months, but id imagine any time and any weather would make for a beautiful stay.

This cabin was very beautiful and everything we hoped it would be. It was right in between everything such as the city and activities. Pictures were exactly how it looked in person, right on the river with hot tub looking over, and very clean. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend staying here!

I stayed at Kate's place when in the area for a conference. The location was absolutely stunning and so peaceful, the perfect retreat at the end of a long day. Kate was a proactive, kind, communicator and left great instructions in advance on how to access the property. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay! Highly recommend a stay with Kate.

Alisha was such a wonderful host, she kept in touch with us to make sure everything went smoothly. The place was beautiful and clean and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Renton, Washington. The serene lake view was absolutely breathtaking and created the perfect peaceful atmosphere. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed—from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches throughout. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a scenic location.
