Had an absolutely pleasant stay at Ayu‘s Villa. Ayu and her husband are super nice people and were always available and happy to help us out. Would definetly come back any time because you instantly feel very welcomed at the Place. Would recommend to any group of Friends to have a rather private Villa and an absolutely Great experience with the local People Thanks for everything 🫶🏻 Best wishes Sabrina,Tara, Hieber, Daniel, Mr. David, Philipps

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön. Aus dem Bett kann man die Brandung des Meeres hören und sonst nichts. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und das Team besonders freundlich. Liebe Grüße an Aleks der uns zur Abreise noch schnell mit dem Roller geshutteld hat und uns einen Bus angehalten hat.

Das "Melaya Beach Resort" war ein tramhaft schöner Stopp für uns, direkt am Meer gelegen! Der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und immer zu erreichen. Unsere Frühstücks-Pancakes und Früchte haben den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht!

Wonderful place.

Great place for us to sleep and rest overnight. Not much in the area, but if you are after peace and quiet it ticks lots of boxes. Was a little harder to find when Google maps stopped working as we only knew the general area, but found it in the end. Everything around is very basic, but the locals are friendly. House itself was as described a the pool was a hit with the kids. Access to the beach in front is thru a little estuary with a steep sand incline. We had breakfast for the 7 of us. It was scones and jam and savory cakes with egg mustard and savory chicken. Also a fresh banana smoothie. Most most of the kids didn’t eat it, but it filled a hole before a big day diving and snorkeling. If you stay more than one night you should have a bigger range. The only thing I would note is the downstairs bedrooms the air cons were quite weak. My wife and I ended up going upstairs and sleeping with the kids as it was much cooler. Lovely place and would stay again

This place is a peaceful spot on the beach, with friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are big and air-conditioned. However, it was not super clean, and the towels were stained. The beach is also quite dirty and covered in rubbish, but it is in a convenient location for a one-night stay for those travelling from East Java to Bali.

Wir haben das Blue Gecko und Melaya geliebt. Allen voran hat Ni diese Unterkunft zu einem Zuhause gemacht. Sie kocht lecker, hat unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt und uns einen Einblick in die balinesische Kultur gegeben. Wir vermissen Ni jetzt schon. Melaya ist (noch) nicht sehr touristisch und im April waren wir zudem in der Nebensaison da. Es war damit so schön ruhig. Haben den Pool und die Aussicht aufs Meer sehr genossen. Nice to know: -Kleiner Supermarkt im Dorf, "nur" mit Auto erreichbar -2 Restaurants +1 Bar unter 10 Min fußläufig erreichbar. Eins direkt nebenan (brachte uns auch mal Essen in die Villa) -viele freilaufende Hunde und Katzen (wie üblich in Bali), auch auf der Terrasse (freuen sich über Futter), wohl alle Tollwut geimpft - im April sehr, sehr viel Müll am Strand, schwimmen war nicht möglich. wird wohl ab Mai besser - abends/nachts wurde am Strand Müll verbrannt, was man im Haus sehr stark roch Danke Ni für Deine Herzlichkeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Honestly was amazing. The service is one of the best I’ve ever had. I asked for a romantic dinner on the beach and told them it was our 1 year anniversary, the dinner was amazing, they set up a table on the beach with flowers and candles around and also when we got back to our room they left us a beautiful present in the room with flowers everywhere it was beautiful. The nature is amazing, the reef out front has so much life and there are deers and monkeys hanging out the resort. Mostly thoses black long tailed monkeys which are super friendly and keep to themselves.

Honestly the highlight of our vacation. Herman and Alex made our time in Bali a dream. Private cabana right on the beach, peaceful surrounded by nature and the ocean waves. Recommend to anyone looking for an escape or private vacation spot. Daily local breakfast was also delicious. It is quite remote so do expect some bugs and critters but nothing too bothersome. Also recommend Hermans other listing in Ijen to see the rare blue flame acid volcano crater. Him and his son really made sure we were well taken care of in their beautiful homes and country.

Eine Ruhe Oase! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nyoman, seine Frau und Aleks haben uns wunderbar Vorort betreut. Frühstück war sehr lecker :) Wer etwas abgelegenes sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die wunderschöne Natur und freundlichen Einwohner sehr genossen.

Masa inap yang luar biasa. Anak anak sangat menikmatinya. Kami seperti berlibur tapi juga seperti di rumah sendiri. Setiap hari dapat pergi ke pantai dan dengan harga yang demikian itu sangat berhemat. Ke ramah tamahan luar biasa. Kami datang tidak dengan kendaraan, rekan tuan rumah pak Nyoman dan bu Nyoman sangat membantu, begitu juga dengan kk Alex, sedikit malu karena kami terlalu banyak dibantu bahkan kami meminjam scooter. Itu luar biasa . Terimakasih Malaya Cabanas, kami pasti ingin kembali
