We had a fantastic stay in Viewfield Gardens. Colin’s house is extremely well equipped, 2 receptions rooms, plus conservatory and a spacious kitchen diner! The bathroom was fab with a great shower! The house was spotlessly clean. It was a relaxing and welcoming place to come home to having explored the delights of Aberdeen. There is also a very pretty park within a minute’s walk! Communication with Colin was great! Lots of info before arrival - Thank you!

The castle was everything we dreamed and more! There was so much space for our large group and the dress-up room was a 5-star bonus! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and accommodated our group of 11 very well- with room to spare. The location was quiet and beautiful- love seeing sheep out my window upon waking! Would highly recommend for a large group looking for a unique vacation destination.

Dieses AirBnb war wirklich wunderschön! Ein großes Haus, dass sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Es gibt genügend Badezimmer und auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (Öl, Gewürze, Küchentücher, Spültabs, Spülmittel, Müllbeutel,..). Die Lage ist auch sehr ruhig und wunderschön! Der Whirlpool macht das ganze natürlich noch besser. Alles in allem ein top AirBnb. Es ist jedoch anzumerken, dass das 4er Zimmer echt recht kleine Betten aufweist also für Erwachsene (wenn man dieses AirBnb für 12 Erwachsene bucht) schwierig drin zu schlafen.

The Steading is an immaculate house to stay in. Exactly as described, and Lou gave us detailed directions on how to get there. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away, including hot tub and cold plunge tub, as well as every kitchen utensil you could think of. There are plenty games to play with the family, even outdoor games that are free to use if the weather is on your side. Would absolutely stay again!

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Everything about this property is perfect. It strikes the fine balance of feeling lived in, amazingly well equipped and yet perfectly set up for hosting families throughout the year. We all felt instantly ‘at home’ the kids included which meant we could make the most of some frankly unusual scottish weather of 4 days of no rain or clouds. The kitchen and lounge and deck were my personal favourites - amazing space to cook, socialise, relax and read. The backdrop of the trees and river right at the garden edge was mesmerising. Everything in the house was clean and well maintained, its clear its a family home rather than a stock airbnb business which meant many of the kitchen goods, decor and general fittings and fixtures were all premium quality further adding to the sense of luxury and value for money. Lara was a lovely host, really responsive and we loved the welcome pack. We’d saved up for this joint family trip and because of all of the above its been epic. Thank you 🙏❤️

We had such a brilliant stay at Lewis Lodge – already talking about when we can come back. There were seven of us (plus a couple of very content dogs), and the place felt like a proper home from home. The kitchen was definitely the heart of the house – the big island easily sat all of us, and it had everything we needed. We cooked every night: lazy breakfasts, full-on Sunday roasts, and everything in between. The log burner was a favourite too – nothing better than coming back from a walk and settling in by the fire. Speaking of walks, the riverside ones nearby are gorgeous, and The Balmoral Arms is just five minutes away – perfect for a drink by another roaring fire. Peaceful, welcoming, and just a lovely place to spend time with good people (and good dogs). Can’t wait to return.

Linda's place was awesome! The photos don't do it justice as the rooms are actually huge! the house is well furnished with lovely decor and everything you need for a great stay. Linda is highly proactive with recommendations and instructions and with a great pub 2 mins walk, what's not to like! defined recommended and would stay again!

We had a great week at James’s place. The house has been really well renovated with everything you need plus some thoughtful touches. The large boot room is especially useful for families on holiday. The dogs loved the big garden and we all loved the open plan downstairs. Thanks for a great stay.

We go away every year for a group getaway and this is by far the best stay we’ve had! Jonquil and Simon have created a peaceful and homely atmosphere surrounded by nature. From the sourdough when we arrived, to the collecting of the chicken eggs with the kids, we loved every minute of our time there and will definitely be back in the future!

The location and beautiful, peaceful surroundings were perfect for our group. We were able to walk to a few distilleries, rest well, and enjoy the peace together.

Gardenstown is a great place for a quiet break. Claire’s house was clean, comfortable and in a superb location. The village has all basic amenities. The short walk to the harbour was easy and is a great place to be if you want a quiet, peaceful break. Everyone is so friendly. Would highly recommend taking a relaxing break here.

We were impressed from the moment we booked the accommodation with how quick and friendly the response was. When we arrived, we were greeted by Donald with his very informative and friendly introduction to the property. We all loved the homemade bread, jam and marmalade that was waiting for us in the kitchen. The location is so beautiful and peaceful yet still within easy walking distance to local amenities.

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.
