We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

This is our second girls trip here and we loved every moment! The hot tub was awesome and the kitchen is a huge space to cook and still be involved with friends in the living space. we'll be back again for a third trip I'm sure!

Kirk and Kelley were very welcoming and lovely. The cottage was easy to locate and had some stunning views of the mountains and the lake. Thank you for hosting us and would indeed return for another get away in the future.

It was a great little house to rent out and included anything we could have ever needed. The house had lots of character and was very welcoming. The hosts were very accommodating and ensured our stay went well. The kayaks hadn't been taken out yet for the season and within an hour they had been pulled out for us with life jackets and paddles provided. Totally recommend this Air BnB!

Delilah’s place was the perfect home base for our backcountry trip trip. Beautiful location near the mountains. Returning to the hot tub after a day out in the snow was incredible. We realized we forgot to take our crib board and Bluetooth speaker, but found Delilah had both at the cottage along with other nice touches. Would recommend if you’re looking for a spot near Cape North.

It’s a Shore thing rental was absolutely beautiful! Great for a relaxing and fun getaway! Jennie messaged with local things to do and was always communicative if we needed or wanted anything! The place was so beautiful and clean, and the aesthetic was amazing! The hot tub was amazing and the view was even better. Beds were super comfy as well. If we forgot anything, this place had it! The bathroom had luxury products, with toiletries, makeup, hairspray all nine yards and great shower products! Leaving a welcome message to my friends and me! Great girls weekend getaway! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy it again! Thank you guys once again!

Overall a great stay at a lovely cottage. Kristy was extremely responsive to questions during our stay. We had an early spring visit so the road in was a little messy, but that is no fault of the hosts/cottage. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We stayed two nights at McLeod cove and it was lovely! Everything was clean, comfortable and on a beautiful spot! I asked questions right before our teip and Shelia was so quivk to respond and very helpful! Would definitely recommend staying here to tour around CB!

Really beautiful cottage. Booked it for a solo getaway and it was so relaxing! The view is amazing and the beach was the perfect place to watch the sunrise. The instructions to get to the cottage were really helpful as well. Would definitely go back!

The location was exactly as described and pictured. It even had a trampoline - which wasn't listed but was a surprise hit with the children. There was a lovely welcome package when we arrived with the satellite radio playing softly. We felt immediately at home. The location is stunning. We went kayaking, fishing, hiking, and enjoyed evening fires. The beach was gorgeous and the house was well equipped. The kitchen literally had everything you might need. We did have a question regarding the water quality and testing (notes stated it was spring fed and I wanted to be sure the water was potable as there was bottled water provided in the fridge) but did not receive a reply from the host when we enquired. Lots of towels, bedding was nice, and dogs were welcomed. For an active family with young children it was a wonderful place to spend a fall weekend.

This was our first time exploring the Cabot trail. The airbnb was the perfect getaway. It was very private, quiet, clean, and the views were breathtaking. The house was very clean, it had all the amenities we needed for the three days there. The driveway is a little tricky to find but once we found it the first time we were fine making mental markers. The host was fast with responding. More than enough space for the 6 of us, we also loved that there were two bathrooms. We will definitely rent again in the future!

We were visiting Cape Breton for Thanksgiving together with our in-laws. It was a great size for 4 people (and could probably hold a few more). Great layout, tastefully decorated, and was VERY clean. My mother-in-law was born and raised in the area, so we had a few visitors stop by - it was easy for them to find the place and there was space for them to park. The town had a power outage one evening - there was a knock at the door and the owner's father kindly brought us a propane lamp (we learned he lived in the area) which served us well for the rest of the evening. Power was back on when we woke the next day. Owner responded quickly to all messages. We would rent here again!

We are very happy with our seven night stay there. The kitchen was well equipped, so we were able to prepare almost all of our meals. Eileen greeted us with homemade biscuits and some thoughtful fridge provisions sufficient to get our next morning off to a cozy start. She made an effort to help us access Wi-Fi in the town of Inverness, but it turned out the cottage had good cell reception so we could use phones as hotspots to get a little work done such that we could really vacation in confidence. We were delighted to see a pair of bald eagles on the shore of the property, well as loons and kingfishers and many other birds. Our stay was in mid September, and the weather was delicious, sunny, with a crisp bite to the air on our last couple of days. Congratulations to Eileen on creating a charming getaway, I wish we had stayed three or four more days.

This is a great place to stay. We were lucky to stay here for work last week and we’ve booked again for next week. We always stay in a nice place when we are away for work, but it’s rare you get a place that you can’t wait to go back to every night!!

What a beautiful week we had at this perfect little cottage! We enjoyed our time so much and will be sure to come back if we ever get the chance. Gabarus is pretty and sleepy and we had the best time exploring the surroundings, just behind the cottage, as well as the public Gull Cove Trail nearly. We took advantage of the beautiful fire place to cozy up inside, enjoyed a bonfire outside and even took a quick dip in the sea at the beach close by. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen where clean, cozy and more modern than you would expect them to be in a remote little cottage like this. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

What a lovely spot. Very remote and peaceful. If you are looking for a private spot for some relaxation, peace and quiet - this is it! Also... And maybe the most important for me this trip... Kim was EXTREMELY helpful and responsive. I had to change my plans last minute and Kim was so understanding and helpful. Plus, she wrangled some help for me when I needed it. I liked the place, but I loved the hosts. Super grateful to these folks!

The house is spacious, modern and very clean. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially with the Colours in October. Each morning we enjoyed sitting with a cup of coffee in the crows nest upstairs and seeing the Bra d’Or Lake and hillsides. We had a problem with the front door lock when it often would not open or lock the door to our key presses. Aaron was responsive with providing a key to use instead. When we asked how to activate the floor heating which was not working, we were told to use the cozy gas fireplace to warm the house. That worked okay in conjunction with the ceiling fan.

This is our third stay. We love it here!

This was an awesome cottage right on the water. It was so nice to walk the beaches in Port Hood steps from the cottage. Managed to get in the last of Celtic Colors but were surprised by everything closing. We left on Monday morning but by Sunday almost everything was closed including one of the 2 restaurants in the town. The amenities in the cabin were great. Loved the views! Comfortable beds. Very clean. Highly recommend Patrick’s listing. You won’t regret it.

Eagle Valley Cottages is a favourite of mine! Barbara’s personal touches are delightful. The cottage is pristine, warm, cozy, with beautiful scenery. The grounds are impeccable! Thank you Barbara, as always your personal touches go above and beyond!

Wir hatten tolle zwei Nächte hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Trails der Nord- und Ostseite des Parks sind nur Minuten entfernt und es war alles da was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Den Check-in konnten wir problemlos vorbesprechen. Das Verschließen der Tür ist etwas besonders. Dies geht offenbar nur oder am Besten von innen durch drücken und drehen des Türknaufs. Wir wünschen der Unterkunft noch viele nette und ordentliche Gäste.
