La maison est géniale, le jardin et la piscine sont exceptionnels, la vue incroyable. Vous êtes au calme et dans un cadre naturel splendide pour passer des vacances reposantes et vous ressourcer. We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful and secluded farmhouse, visiting friends in neighbouring Castelo Branco. Rogério was there to meet us after an 8 hour drive from Southern Spain with a welcoming drink and home made pastries and he spent 45 minutes explaining about the location and its history; he really is super friendly. The house truly is a home from home filled with his treasures, games and even a keyboard. As mentioned in other reviews the dog did bark constantly but Rogerio had already flagged this and offered to move him. we used the house only as a base however and he did not unduly bother us. It was a great stay and we made full use of the wood burning fire which kept the house cosy and warm however it did smoke a bit leaving everything we owned with a memorable dour of woodsmoke. It’s great value and our friends who live in the area visited one evening and fell in love with its rustic charm, they are going to book a couple of nights for themselves in the summer.

nos encantó la casa. lastima que no la disfrutamos lo suficiente porque solo la usamos para dormir. estuvimos unas escasas 12 horas. pero la recomiendo 100 % y si algún día pasamos por allí, volveremos. gracias

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille chez Mario. La maison est très grande et plutôt bien équipée. Le paysage est très beau et l'acces à la piscine très agréable. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour un séjour tranquille à la campagne.

James was a lovely host and a pleasure to get to know! We stayed here for a wedding in the area & were consistently impressed by how he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The surrounding area is certainly beautiful - definitely stay if you have the chance. Loved getting to chat with the host throughout our time, and he always provided recommendations or answers to our questions. Huge plus that there are two lovely dogs on the property who love to greet guests. Thank you for everything!
