Rachel’s place was lovely. Spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and a well-equipped kitchen. Loved the espresso maker and the coffee provided, as well as the selection of tea. It was really quick and easy to get down to the coastal path and bike or walk into town or the other way. Highly recommended.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. She made us feel at home. She was helpful in providing recommendations and also happily agreed to drive us to the car hire place. Loved her place and the surroundings

We had a lovely stay. The space was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more. Martin was very welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We are travelling to NP multiple times a year and I wished, we would have discovered July’s place earlier. For sure our “home away from home” whenever we are in town from now onwards. Excellent location oy a few metres from town centre, large supermarket 200m away, close to the water front. Spotless clean appartment, well thought of amenities, full size kitchen, fast wifi and satellite TV. July has been a great host and super easy to communicate with prior arrival. What else to say…we will be back and can highly recommend July’s place for anyone looking for a “gem” in New Plymouth.

The room was just as beautiful and lovely as in the photos. It was well-equipped with cutlery and amenities, making for a very comfortable stay!

Had a very nice stay at a quiet place, close to Pukekura Park. Jane is a lovely host! Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay for us to all be together. So much room. The squash court is so useful, especially with little kids. Great to have three separate shower areas. So close to the beach. The walk around the lake is so close and not too big. Alot of Canadian Geese on the lake when we were there. We had awesome weather while we were there. Recommend it. We will be back 😊

Ihr Haus ist wunderschön; die Küche zur Mitbenützung war perfekt 👌 Sheryl hat uns Tipps für Aktivitäten vor Ort und für unseren weiteren Roadtrip gegeben, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen! Die Unterkunft von Sheryl wiederspiegelt das, wofür AirBnB steht bzw. stehen sollte 🫶

Large place with all amenities provided. Appreciated the washer n dryer, managed to do all our laundry. Puss-Puss was such an adorable cat and she welcomed us when we first arrived. Tons of bread provided was a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

It was so good to visit again after staying previously a few years ago, and enjoyed the extended space & upgrades to the bathrooms. It is such a good location with amazing views of the coast. Thanks for a great stay.

Unique place, has got everything you need and a lot of games for the bad weather days. The hosts are really friendly and accommodating. I would come back again.

Tyler and Zoe really went above and beyond an air bnb hosts duties when it came to our stay. My 80yr old elderly mum checked in initially and was at the airbnb for a couple nights before other guests arrived. My mum had issues using her mobile and was unable to contact family in Australia or in NZ for help. But she was able to get a hold of Tyler who without hesitation went to the house to assist a very distressed elderly women. He offered to help organise food or anything that my mum needed and was very generous with his time and help. Shout out to the person boarding in the studio downstairs of the house who was so helpful in helping mum when she needed to go to hospital. The hospitality received from these hosts is truly remarkable and our family will be forever grateful for all the support for my mum. Thank you again x We will definitely rebook next time we are in the area, would highly recommend this stay.

We loved our stay at Peter and Wendy's place. It had all the amenities we needed in a homey and quiet setting. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

After our intimate wedding ceremony in New Plymouth, with our adult children and their partners, we shared the weekend at the Oakura accommodation. It was a wonderful wedding venue and offered us everything we needed. Rosanna kindly allowed us an earlier check-in on our wedding day, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you Rosanna and Richard.

We loved it and were sad to leave. Even though they lived on ground floor, we had a very private space. Friendly hosts. Nga mihi korua xx

My second time staying which should tell you everything you need to know.

I’d highly recommend this private, self-contained unit which is a short 10-min drive from New Plymouth’s centre. It was absolutely spotless, and Kathryn has thought of all the thoughtful and practical little touches that make you feel at home.

OH WOW!! We really hope to be back! Lois’s place exceeded our expectations! So beautiful and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook elaborate meals and have big breakfasts! She even had homemade cookies and a bowl of fruit waiting for us on arrival, plenty of coffee and a well-tended garden!! The views!!! Heated blankets and washer and dryer if needed. So perfect! Easy walk to the grocery store and Serial Griller burgers!

We loved our stay here. The gallery was cozy with everything we could have needed. It was private, quiet, tidy, comfortable and beautiful. I’m in awe of the stunning materials used, decor and furnishings taking inspiration for my own home.

Edwin’s place does not disappoint. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I did some laundry and they helped me out by putting my clothes in the hamper, as I was out all day. Cool bengal cat hung out with me on arrival as well.

David and Sonia were very friendly and made us welcome when we arrived. Perfect hosts. The accommodation was spotless, private and nice and roomy. We only stayed one night unfortunately, but would love to go back again.
