We had a wonderful stay at Aubiz Villa during the Good Friday vacation weekend with four families. The host was incredibly hospitable and served delicious food throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the spacious lawn area, which turned out to be the perfect hangout spot for our group – especially with the cozy campfire setup in the evenings. The villa is ideal for group trips, providing both comfort and a relaxed vibe. It’s rare to find such a great outdoor space in this location, making it a standout feature. The only minor feedback we had was that the toilets in two of the rooms were smaller than expected. That said, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Considering we traveled during the busy vacation season, the stay was very economical, and all four families left with great memories. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone planning a getaway with friends or extended family!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and gave us a true home-like feeling. I visited with my family, including kids, and we all felt at ease from the moment we arrived. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel like part of their family. They genuinely cared about our well-being, guiding us whenever we went out and ensuring we had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful—not just as a host, but more like a friend—suggesting the best places to visit in the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the food! Basir’s cooking was simply magical. We tried one meal outside but missed his delicious food, so we decided to have all our meals at the house instead. If you have Basir in the kitchen, I highly recommend enjoying the home-cooked meals—especially his Kashmiri dishes, which he prepares to perfection! A big thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable. We are lucky to have one more family in Kashmir now.

If you are looking for a place which is away from the throngs of tourists then Hillscape Inn is the prefect place to stay at. It is in a quiet street with mountains at the backdrop and we absolutely liked the peace and quiet. Nasir and his Father were great hosts and went out of the way to ensure we very comfortable. They were extremely accommodating with even the check in time for us as we arrived 2 hours earlier. And even on the day we checked-out , we had our flight late at night and they obliged for us to use a room to freshen up. We felt at home at Hillscape Inn. And the highlight of our stay was definitely the kindness and warmth they extended to us. We were travelling on a bike in Kashmir and had not come prepared for the rain. Nasir's father gave us jackets to wear without us even asking !! Definitely recommend staying here if peace and quiet and offbeat travel is your way of travelling.

Caretaker : Aslam is very helpful and available in property as needed. Cook : Ilayath was a great cook and he makes whatever you need and is very tasteful houseKeeping : Junaid keeps the house clean and ensures to keep the place pristine clean as needed.

Staying at Kashmir Home was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, Aamir made me feel incredibly welcome, enveloping me in warmth and hospitality that truly made it feel like a home away from home. The environment is serenely peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As a writer, I found this tranquil setting ideal for concentrating on my book; the quiet was only ever pleasantly interrupted by the gentle sounds of nature that surround the property. Aamir and Julia went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, always attentive without being intrusive. The space itself is comfortable and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that enhance the stay—cozy furnishings, beautiful views and quietness. Kashmir Home was the perfect place for my retreat.

a wonderful open view on the lake and the mountains. No traffic around!! it's a private enclave, which is wonderful. Breakfast and dinner are served for a reasonable price.
