We stayed with our children age 5, 10, 12 and dog. Hot tub, river and garden were perfect for us. The accommodation was spotless and peaceful with beautiful views. A morning brew on the balcony watching the rabbits, river and lambs was lovely. Great equipped kitchen. Also great to drive out to lovely local places for the day. I could not recommend this place enough. Phil our host was helpful and responsive. Don’t overlook this place it’s a gem .

This was our first ever AirBnB stay. Scarlett made it very easy to check in, the house was beautiful. Hot tub to the rear was the main reason we booked. We wanted somewhere private enough to feel relaxed but also close enough to local amenities. The house was very clean and tidy and offered extras such as books, board games and even home made shortbread. Thanks so much for making our stay so lovely Would 100% return

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was fantastic. Daniel was very helpful with recommendations of local things to do, which was very helpful with a toddler and to catch-up with the in-laws. Beautiful property that was comfortable. All the little details have been thought of from setting up a bed for our toddler to the care package of tasty local food. Daniel was helpful and answered questions about where to go to entertain the family in all weather's. Thank you. We look forward to staying again!

a fantastic little place with plenty to do in the village or neighbouring towns, lots of lovely little touches made it feel really well thought through and not a "standard air BnB" at all - fresh coffee, different teas, dressing gowns, welcome drinks, and plenty of logs for the log fired hot tub which we took advantage of every night of our stay. Also one of the increasingly rare places with a host confident enough not to leave lots of "please do this don't do this" type notes which helped us feel like we were at home really quickly.

We stayed for one night at Deans place to celebrate a 40th birthday. there was 4 of us that stayed and there was lots of room. The place is gorgeous! We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. We took an Uber to the nearest high street which was approx 10 minutes, there was lots of bars and place to eat there. Dean was a great host, always replying to messages and when we realised we'd forgotten our milk he brought some over for us. Thanks for a great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emma's place. The secure garden was great for our dog to roam whilst we relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day following plenty of walking around the Lakes. The cottage itself has loads of character but everything you need for your stay. We were fortunate to have the weather to make use of the gas BBQ. Emma was very welcoming and chilled with the fact we had a good run up and arrived half an hour before check-in time. Nothing was too much trouble and the fresh eggs were delicious! The cottage is just a 10 minute drive from Windermere, (20 minutes to Ambleside, 30 minutes to Grizedale forest), so whilst it's not in the throng of all us tourists, we benefited from the peace and quiet when we wanted it, but nothing was too far away. We'd also highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Staveley, just a 4 minute drive down the road. Hopefully we'll be back!

What a lovely place! So glad I found it and would love to revisit! It was absolutely stunning! By far the nicest place I have stayed! The properly was beautiful and it was very clean! The views were stunning! Sam was incredibly helpful with booking, directions and getting access to the property! I don’t think he could have been any more helpful which made the process so easy and straight forward! It has everything you needed and we can’t wait to come back!

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

we had a fantastic stay here. the cottage is beautiful, the garden with pod is perfect to enjoy the local scenery. it was the best sleep I've had in months, so quiet! John was always on hand if neded and very friendly & helpful. we felt very welcome. the cottage has everything you need and more!! I especially loved the history of the house and the way if was decorated/accessorised. my daughter absolutely loved it!! she is 10 and was very sad to leave. I'm certain we will return! the pub up the road was amazing...a lovely walk for tea! food was delicious and very good value. I would highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to come back. thank you John for being a wonderful host and letting us share in the history of this magnificent building.

We had a lovely couple of days at Brandybuck cottage. Superb location in the heart of Kirkby Stephen with the high street a minute walk away and some gorgeous walks around the local area straight from the cottage. The cottage itself is a real home from home with a well equipped kitchen,comfy beds and a decent shower. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 with 2 older children(who appreciated the TV in each bedroom). Communication from the host was excellent with directions and check in details clearly explained so arrival and check in was a smooth process. Parking is on a road to the rear of the property which again was clearly explained and Marks directions took us to the exact place to park with further clear directions from there to access the rear of the cottage. Tea,coffee,sugar,milk and a packet of biscuits was provided upon arrival which was a nice touch and much appreciated. We booked this cottage as a last minute break and it is a real gem of a find.

As a family traveling with small children we absolutely loved this cottage! Plenty of space with all the amenities we needed and clean. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to pubs, countryside scenery and a great park/playground - my kids loved it! Exactly as described and exactly what we pictured the British countryside to be. We hope to return one day!

I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

We booked The Nest last minute and Anette was extremely attentive from the start to finish of our stay. The house was exactly as described & was immaculate. Bed was so comfortable & lots of attention to detail! Great location for exploring the local area. Pub right across the road with good pub grub , Co Op literally paces away& a fabulous foodie pub The Eskdale is a 10 min walk away. Thank you Annette we loved our stay as did our dog !

A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

Catherine is an excellent host, great communication and keen that everything is ok, quick response to queries raised. lovely welcome touch, of milk, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit juice jam, butter and apples and a supply of tea and coffee. Lovely compact cottage with a good kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. peaceful and quiet, away from everything but only a short drive in to Kendal

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

Fell cottage is a lovely, cozy and very clean . Well equipped with everything we needed. We stayed there for three nights and loved the fireplace during cold nights. Joan is a superb host! She welcomed us at the cottage and explained everything about it. Joan also recommended wonderful local pub, where we had delicious meal. The cottage is in quite village and the location was perfect for all our outings in Lake District. We loved our stay at Fell Cottage and highly recommend it. Thank you Joan !

Wow, wow, wow! Deb and Tim’s place was absolutely beautiful! The surroundings were to die for, the bath was so relaxing! I felt very at home and the facilities and were great! Will be definitely back again soon, thank you Tim and deb!

What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

We have had the best stay! Sheena and the family are so lovely. The cottage is perfect! And the surroundings are beautiful. Had everything we needed - including a baby bath!! Already talking about when we can come back! Thank you so much!

Great few nightz visiting family in trawden. lovely peaceful cottage. Easy to access and find, the cottage had everything we needed and more. The host is very friendly and responded quickly also very helpful and tries his best to help you with early check in and late check out. excited to come back.

Beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The surrounding area was so peaceful with stunning views. The garden was fabulous , a place where we could relax after lots of walking and the perfect place for our puppy to explore.The location was excellent for visiting the lakes.
