We boarded our horses at SugarRidge Ranch during our time in Frisco. The barn is just steps away from the cabin. The entire experience of SugarRidge, the cabin, and the other banks was FANTASTIC!! We felt right at home. We will absolutely be back!!

When the app says that Mariano is a superhost, they are right on the money! This property is beautiful, well stocked, very spacious and just lovely! We stayed here twice in 2 months and and will definatrly be back soon! Thank You Mariano! You are awesome and very responsive! Hope to See you agsin soon!

Rocking Hat Retreat was awesome, quiet, comfortable, private off the beaten path a bit, very clean. I liked the gated drive, felt a little secure being there. Parking under the building was nice. It was a really nice pplace to kick back and relax after a day of driving and a day in the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Jayme was onsite when we arrived and very helpful in restraint selection (Mad Crabber) very informative on local amenities as well. We will return ! Thank you Jayme!

The house was cleaned excellently and things were labeled with directions and what the check out process was. Sarah was very responsive and the house was an easy location to all spots!

With just about every amenity you could possibly want this was a terrific place to stay and gave us a great first impression of what it’s like to be in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Highly recommended. we explored pretty much the entire island and hands-down this was our favorite spot - 5 stars!

Definitely a comfy cottage! Kitchen had everything we need, plus some! Loved the little dock and access to everything in the storage room for outside fun is a plus. Kathleen was super informative and helpful before the stay, because of this we were able to enjoy our time and had no reason to figure things out on our own or contact the host.

The only member of my group that does not have an AirBnB account was also the first to arrive. The street number of address ends with the letter A, however this is Suite B, which caused a little bit of confusion for us. I had to relay what I could see on the first screen over the phone while driving. Another member of the group corrected me - we are in Suite B - which had a lockbox that worked with the code we were given. We walked down Cottage Ave to the beach to fish one night, but the surf and wind were too strong to hold our 8oz sinkers. All that remains of a former Cul-de-sac house is the steps up to an elevated deck - which make it a kind of 20' pier. This is a great area if you like to fish the point in the fall. Its a very short drive, and everything you need is on the way. Dillon's has fresh bait, Angelos has really good subs and fries. Their pizza looked good too. You're also right at the beginning of Buxton too, so if you wanna jump back on 12N to fish Avon, it's not far.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!

Tricia was a fantastic host! She was responsive, easy to communicate with, and helpful. The room we stayed in was super clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The porch off the sliding door was SO nice and relaxing...and you may see a few deer in the neighborhood like we did! I slept like a rock on the mattress and just had to reach out to ask what they were using and immediately started Googling to find one for our home. We made it clear that we were dog people, so we loved when their sweet boys got to come downstairs to get some pets and play! This was our first time staying where a host was on property and renting a room rather than the whole house and Tricia made us feel very comfortable. We always had privacy, but she made herself available at check-in and check-out. I would book again without hesitation! This property and area are both absolutely lovely -- I only wish we had more time to enjoy it all. Until next time!
