Perfect for people who appreciate a great value, love nature and want to find some peace & quiet. You have the feeling of camping, but all the amenities of being at home and then some. Full kitchen, propane grill, tv w/dvds. The bed is wonderful. Many spots at the cabin to sit and observe nature and the river. Driveway is long, but was no challenge at all. There is a Wal Mart and some restaurants about 20 mins away. There is a water filter on the sink. Heated toilet seat. Bobs place is sparkling clean, and very well thought out. The effort truly shows. The only rules at Bob's are; relax and have fun. Already booked my next trip before we even left the first trip! All around, 100/10.

Wonderful long weekend in Deep Creek. Perfect for someone visiting in wheelchair as well, I had messaged the lodge and they made sure we had a clear path to the front entrance. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a stove in the cabin but we made everything work. Would highly recommend

My wife and I have been to Deep Creek many times before but I wanted to surprise her with a 2 night stay away for her break from her job and I came across Michelle’s place! The place was amazing! It was perfect for a couple. We relaxed and enjoyed the lower deck with some wine and music. The hot tub was awesome as well. Everything was very clean and it was easy to check in/check out. Michelle was very responsive and gave easy directions to follow. We will for sure be staying here again! Thank you for a great stay Michelle!

The cabin was so lovely - even prettier than the pictures. The view from the back deck was beautiful! Beds were comfortable and cabin felt spacious. Rocky was so kind and responsive throughout!

We loved our stay at the Spruce Cabin! We were impressed as soon as we got in the door at how nice the cabin was and how comfortable the space was to stay in, Mike and Marta had everything we needed in the cabin to make our stay relaxed and easy from cookware to linens, a grill, and fire put with firewood nearby. Check-in/Check-out were quick and easy. Amenities were above and beyond what was described and of good quality/easy to use! We loved the location - very close to anything and everything you want to do in the Deep Creek Lake/Oakland area, but tucked just far enough away from the main road, that it was peaceful and private! We’ve already recommended the Spruce Cabin to friends and family, and would highly recommend it to anyone else who happens to read this review!

This cozy cabin was perfect for my family of 5 kids! We came to go skiing for the first time at snowshoe and the cabin was a perfect private retreat for family time, games, and a hot tub for aches and pains from skiing! Super clean, cozy and we had everything needed including laundry detergent we forgot! Filtered cold water tower was extra nice for all our yeti refills! We were party of 7 but 10 can sleep comfortably, plus two full baths! Crockpot, two types of coffee makers, toaster, all cooking utensils needed for big breakfasts and convenient supper! Really enjoyed our stay here--the cabin was a perfect location to relax for a few days and go for some hikes with our dog. But it's also only about 15 min to McHenry/Wisp area, so it's very easy to get to restaurants, stores etc. The cabin was clean, everything worked as expected, and the info provided was helpful. We hope to visit again sometime!

We enjoyed our stay! The home is in a great location. We had some rain over the course of the stay which made having a roof over the hot tub very helpful. We also liked spending time in the basement with the pool table. Definitely would be interested in staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful place! Loved every second of it! Very peaceful! Perfect for getting away from the everyday hustle! It was exactly what we needed!

Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

This rustic, cozy cabin was the perfect spot for an impromptu weekend in the mountains for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt. It was cold outside but heating worked well! So appreciated the little conveniences provided, like dishwasher and laundry soap, paper towels & clear, easy checkout instructions. Great location in easy drive to Davis main street and skiing. Laura was a super responsive host. Would def return!

Had a fantastic stay at this homey cabin! Everything and more was included. Very clean and welcoming! It was so nice to hear the chickens and horses right by the cabin. The honey and eggs were delicious! Very responsive and timely. Was able to accommodate a later check out. Thank you for having us!

Beau’s place was exactly what we were looking for… an affordable place to get away and ski for two nights where we could also bring our dogs. It was perfect! We had to drive our minivan in February because of our dogs and ski equipment, so we took the recommendation to use chains on our tires. Glad we did! They were necessary, but it worked out just fine. Beau was very responsive, friendly, and helpful.

The cabins are so cute and peaceful! Only a few minutes to town, still had service and the cabin WiFi and smart TV were awesome.

Visited in early spring “off-season”… cabin was far enough away from everything to feel like you could get away from it all, yet close enough to be able to do what you want to do if you’re into outdoor adventures or visiting small towns. We’d definitely recommend :)

What a wonderful place! Misty did a phenomenal job and the pictures definitely don't do it justice. There were so many little nice touches she left, from extra toiletries, to blankets, to snacks. It's a quiet and relaxing location with great proximity to lots of outdoor activities. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at this cabin! The hosts were super responsive and super friendly. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around in the snow. The cabin was super cozy and clean, we loved the wall decorations and art. The kitchen was great and had nearly everything we needed. There is no regular oven but the large toaster oven worked perfectly for a small tart. Would definitely stay here again!

This spot is very far off the road. We wish we would have stayed longer. We brought so many things that were already provided, we could have packed much lighter. Pansy went above and beyond, the place was even decorated for the holiday. I wish we could have enjoyed the provided treats. Even though the weather was quite cold and snowed we stayed warm without any issues. Can't wait to get back to see Dolly Sods

A great place to stay at Deep Creek Lake. It has everything u need for a relaxing weekend. So many things to do and great places to eat. The chairs on front porch were great for relaxing. Definitely will be back.
