This was the perfect place to stay for my short work contract in Glace Bay. Communication was clear and all my needs were met. I loved waking up to the view of the ocean everyday. It felt like home while I was away from home!

Beautiful spot in Upper Amherst Cove. Sheila and Chris are wonderful hosts providing not only a very nice cottage that was fully equipped and then some but also lots of history about the cove.

A Perfect Beachside Escape! I recently stayed at this charming homestay near the beach, and it was nothing short of amazing! The location is unbeatable—just a few steps from the shore, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views right from the balcony. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the waves at night—it was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. I also appreciated the local tips and delicious homemade breakfast offered each morning. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beachside retreat. Will definitely come back again!

Somewhere Brighter Beach Shack was perfect for our visit to Leading Tickles. The place is clean and comfortable, walking trails are nearby as well. I highly recommend staying here

Tanya's place was our #1 favorite Airbnb that was stayed at during our mother/daughter trip around Nova Scotia. The location is secluded but you are a short 15 minute drive to restaurants and another 15 max to Peggy's Cove. The house is so beautiful and amazing that is actually sits on top of a rock (the front porch is the rock)! Many opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the water. The beds were THE most comfortable and amenities like washer and dryer were great as well. We chatted with Tanya the morning we were leaving and she gave us a walk around of future plans for another building on site, which only lead to my mom and I making the immediate decision that we WILL BE BACK! Next time we will stay for longer than just one night, it is worth spending several days here.

Beautiful location, very cozy, great to have the fireplace for rainy, cool days. It is on the Fox Creek Trail which is a nice hike. The Brightside Bistro in Port Rexton is excellent. We would love to return to Krystal’s house!

Our host made sure we were comfortable with all amenities and supplies that made our stay memorable. Sarah went above and beyond for us in letting us checkout later than the scheduled time due to the weather conditions. She was very responsive and took good care of our needs. Would highly recommended this beautiful place!

Gus has a beautiful location! The wharf, firepit, lookout, bbq and cornhole game were perfect additions. Once it rained, we opted to play crib - thanks for having that available as well. We can't wait to plan our next visit!

This was a wonderful place to stay. We usually stay at a hotel, but decided to try an Airbnb this time and we are so glad we did! Her place was so cozy, we felt so content and right at home. The check in was so convenient and easy. She gave perfect instructions, was in contact and was right there when I needed an answer! We will definitely be staying here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Darlene’s beautiful home. It was peaceful and the well furnished deck facing the water was gorgeous. We watched the sunrises and sunsets and all the birds kept us entertained. It’s a great location - short drive to downtown.

Quayside Quidi Vidi was the perfect place for our Newfoundland getaway. The house is modern and impeccably clean with an abundance of closet space. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Situated near hiking trails, restaurants, grocery stores and more. Annette was a pleasure to communicate with. She goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a great stay. She arranged for a baby bouncer chair for our granddaughter. The hot tub is the icing on the cake! Nothing like relaxing in a beautiful hot tub overlooking the scenery after a busy day of hiking and sight seeing. We couldn’t recommend this place more! If you are travelling by air the St. John's, this airport is a breeze. Small and friendly. Rental car kiosks are right by baggage claim. From deplaning to leaving the airport in our car took less than 30 mins. The drive to Quidi Vidi (9 kms) is a very quick 12 mins. Stress free way to start and end a vacation.

Had a wonderful time at Derek's home for a girl's get together weekend. We enjoyed each having our own room and the rest of the home was suited to our needs. Being so close to the beach is an awesome perk! We want to return :)

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Aldo's. The home was super clean...great beds...plenty of towels. The coffee station was great and the kitchen was very well stocked. The welcome gifts were a generous surprise. We are very grateful to have found this home. Thank.you Aldo and family!
